[Audyssey] well, the patch is released!
Hi guys, Earlier this morning, Munawar posted the message, well, when I woke up. See the contents below. Please forward this message to anyone you think will benefit from this information. An update has been released for Three-D Velocity. Most notably, for those of you who were having issues running NVDA and Three-D Velocity together, you will find the experience to be more NVDA-friendly. There is no need to unload the screen reader now before you start the game. Please see NVDA issue #1204. Next, there was a small problem with the music. This has also been corrected. The registration issue where the registration program would report a path not found error has been corrected. The startup scene at the beginning of a game can now be ksipped. Previously, you could only skip the scene in Mission Mode. Key map data can now be deleted from within the key map menu. There is also a fix for the refuel tanker count. There was a problem where even if you restart the Story Mode and play a new game, the count would not reset. ello, I have had a lot of experience with landing, though I agree it is hard, but with practice, Ilanded 10 times in a row, at least that is what I believe. Hi dudes, I discovered the problem with landing. When you land, make sure that your in line with the beacon with the solid locking tone. It is difikult, but you still can manage it. No matter even if its 2 or 4 miles away. Just make sure that your always on the spot. Sometimes, it could go off, but make sure that you always have the locking tone and not far than 5 miles. Hi I'm trying to send an entombed recording but when I do control C from my documents folder and then control V to paste into my public folder it says it's worked, yet when I go to my dropbox folder and copy public link the link won't seem to go to my clipboard. Hi Hayden, Yes, in a manner of speaking. All the old bosses are still in the game, but have been reasigned to different levels. I've been playing with the layout some with beta 17 and have decided to make Arachne and the Lamia the first two bosses. Hi, Glad to be of some help. While we are talking about Python you'll want to keep a close eye on formatting and indention. Python doesn't use symbols like braces, brackets, to indicate blocks of code which makes it easier to program, but it does require pretty precise formatting. I know NVDA and some other screen readers will tell you how many tab indentions are on a line so it is certainly possible to keep track of the formatting if you have that enabled in your screen reader of choice. Hi, It's in the glossary. Angle of Attack: The angle between the wings of an aircraft and a fixed reference point, which will be taken as the ground in Three-D Velocity. The angle of attack is always positive. However, certain angles will pitch the aircraft up, while others will pitch the aircraft down. An angle of attack between 1 and 90 degrees will direct the force of relative air currents above the airfoil, producing lift. Similarly, an angle of attack between 91 and 179 degrees will direct the force of relative air currents under the airfoil, which will cause a downward pitch of the aircraft and cause the aircraft to dive. To summarize, if a pilot wishes to produce lift, the angle of attack must be between 1 and 90 degrees; if the pilot wishes to dive, the angle of attack must be between 91 and 179 degrees. Hi Lori, The reason it says burning torch is because the torch is burning when you get it. If you notice when you grab one off the wall you hear it go out. Angela relights it when it is needed. As for adding a visited here before key that shouldn't be a problem. That is a fairly simple addition to the game. In fact, the functionality is already in the engine, but I just never asigned it to any thing because I didn't think it was needed in a 2d side-scroller. Cheers! Hi Lori, Keep in mind why I used the alt key in the first place though. In MOTA 3D Angela Carter has a number of extra movements including but not excluding: jumping, running, walking, climbing, turning, etc. For example, in the 3d version of the game turn right 90 is control+right arrow. If I change jump to control what key combo is turn rright 90? Anyway, as far as most side-scrollers using the control key for jumping I think you are basing your assumption on only blind audio games. In the mainstream the alt key is most often the jump key. Games like Tomb Raider, at least the older versions, used alt for jump, control for the action key, and shift for walk. Hi, The vanishing platforms vanish and appear at random intervals. You often need to use one to cross an impassable trap like a large chasm, fire pit, lava pit, whatever. Every setting is on default. Go into your winamp preferences, then go to general preferences and playlist. Uncheck the manual playlist advance option. That should fix it. Even after the update I still can't find choppers. I've even returned to the place where the power plant was.
