What game are you talking about?
With Counter-Strike 1.6 I noticed the inverse, windows servers get showed
and Linux don’t.

Keep in mind, if there is a update, the server will not show in the master
server until the server is updated.

Could possibly some of you guy just not have your servers fully updated ?

Come on guys. Why we don't see a little update for CS 1.6 since july 27?

HL2 games are updated for fix issues at least once per month.

For all this time we're suffering with that and waiting for a fix update.

The annoying problem which still happening and developers don't do anything.
We can see HL2 updates almost everyday. With hl1 it's totally different, almost
never.
The worst part is about the fix, they don't pronounce anything about, don't fix
and don't give us any way for a workaround at least.
That's sad, but I guess there's nothing to do till Valve releases a new bugless

Plenty of gameservers still don’t appearing at public servers list. That’s a

I just want to know if HL1 is kinda “rejected” by it’s developers. Nothing

Just for example, I have gameservers from same dedicated server whose some

Ok. Since the last MAJOR update (protocol 47 to protocol 48) (a year and a
half has passed since then), I'm constantly getting these kind of errors:

 ./hlds_run: line 321: 8644 Segmentation fault $HL_CMD

I've read 1/2 the internet to find a solution AND nothing!!!

Using: slackware 13.0, 32 bit, latest build (tried even 5006 build).
Tested
it with/without amx/metamod, always the same error. Come on now. Is it
that
complicated to fix this error? How come i didn't get any of these, while
the
servers were still running @ 47 protocol.

Re: [hlds_linux] HLDS still have serverlist problems with BETA

2010-08-30 Thread Marlon Almeida | CGBR
Hey, would be great if we received any formal information about it.
I understand that Counter-Strike 1.6 could be over for some people and
companies, but hey.. not at all.
Most of my clients and other GSPs are CS 1.6 and they complain a lot about
their gameservers don't appear at find server list.
I think if Steam stills sell a game, it should support and update it.

Does anybody have a workaround to force hl1 server shows at find server

Im sure Jason can fix it, but they seem to take all the time to update
Source. Maybe they could just take a few hours to fix HLDS 1.6

Hey Chris,

that serverlist (find server) problem is getting old and they don’t fix it.
I guess they don’t care about HL1 anymore.
Some people say that if you use sv_region 255 it'll show at serverlist, I
tried that a while ago, worked for some gameservers but these days I don’t
see them. Btw, I am using build 4617.

 Atenciosamente,

Okey, here I am again and I'm sorry. I wrote a few weeks ago about the
serverlist (1.6). The new beta had a bug and the servers didn't show in
STEAM serverbrowser. I thought it was fixed, but today i realize that its
not.

The bug is now that the servers do not show in the list when i tick the box
has users playing. I am comparing with a old HLDS and the bug only occur
in the new HLBeta (during the test i have one player on the server). The
thing is that the serverlist is working like one of ten updates... So its
kinda random..

Jason Im sorry that i have to bother you again with this, but its really bad
for us and our publicservers so i hope you can take the time to fix this
asap. The reason that i didn't see the problem before is that we are still
running the old HLDS and i tried to upgrade one server today.

Re: [hlds_linux] HLDS still have serverlist problems with BETA

2010-08-30 Thread Marlon Almeida | CGBR
It ain't a machine problem, I mean that isn't a local issue. It's something
with masterservers.
Even updating with -beta cs0419 it can't be fixed. Btw that beta stills
beta for a while.

Ok i will look into it. Another thing that would be nice is if we could have
a filter Latency 30. 90% of the servers in the list is servers far away
that you never will play on anyway. The list would update faster and you
would find servers with only good latency. Or if we could chose Location
Scandinavia or something, that would do the same thing. :P

If you can provide me offlist with concrete details I can investigate for
you (i.e RDP/ssh access to a machine with the problem).

No it hasn't been fixed, not completely. Maybe its not the HLDS but the
servers dont always shows, its buggy.. Maybe its the list it self, or
  the masterservers.
