On test setup under FreeBSD 9.1 I get on start ./hlds_linux: symbol lookup error: ./libstdc++.so.6: undefined symbol: _ZNSt8messagesIcE2idE, version GLIBCXX_3.4 If I remove shipped libstdc++.so.6 then next error message appeared LoadLibrary failed on ./cstrike/dlls/cs.so: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by ./cstrike/dlls/cs.so) Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from ./cstrike/dlls/cs.so! FATAL ERROR (shutting down): Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from ./cstrike/dlls/cs.so! Running with metamod failed with unexpected error LoadLibrary failed on ./cstrike/addons/metamod/metamod.so: ./cstrike/addons/metamod/metamod.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from ./cstrike/addons/metamod/metamod.so! FATAL ERROR (shutting down): Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from ./cstrike/addons/metamod/metamod.so! [hlds_linux] Two regressions on hlds build 5408
Hello Recently updated to latest beta build and found two regressions: 1) With default setting sv_allow_dlfile 1 cs_estate and some other maps lags as hell. Hello Are you sure, that they are reported in correct place? I've read that old thread, and most problems in it are client-side, while we are in dedicated server list. Also, if you want to something be fixed, you must remind developers about it from time to time. For example, I've reported about annoying log message [S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; unable to update local steamclient. Hello On first look update I don't see regressions, but I have one question: there is a problem with sound on cs_siege, if you enter this map, all sound get distorted, even on other map/server, until you fully restart client.
