Pak sebenarnya KVM bukan untuk persentasi. maaf kalau saya tersinggung. kenapa bapak tidak pake Video Switch. kan lebih hemat.. bapak hanya pake kabel monitor.. enggak usah susah pake banyak kabel... Andy Susanto Saya mencoba untuk memakai KVM Switch sebagai input dari projector (beberapa notebook terhubung ke kvm, dan output KVM terhubung ke projector), ternyata projector malah tidak bisa mendeteksi adanya input. Tetapi kalau KVM tsb di coba untuk output ke monitor, maka KVM bisa berfungsi. Mohon sharing dari rekan rekan : 1. Apakah memang KVM switch tidak bisa dipakai bila terhubung ke Projector ? 2. Bagaimana untuk memudahkan apabila ada lebih dari 3 notebook yang akan dipakai presentasi, sehingga memudahkan pergantian dari satu notebook ke notebook lain ke dalam 1 projector ? Mas Arvin, Type KVM yang dipakai apa ? Saya dulu juga pernah mengalami hal semacam ini, dulu pake Aten CS-12 (tanpa power). Terus coba pake type Aten CS-82A (dengan power), ternyata bisa. Kebetulan saya pernah coba lihat beberapa keuntungan dan kerugian dari system ini sbb : Keuntungan : 1. Effort pekerjaan pada PC maintenance akan jauh menurun. (spt windows pc corrupt, aplikasi error, virus). Prediksi penurunan bisa sampai 70%, base dari problem yang muncul vs problem yg muncul pada server. 2. System maintenance kita akan lebih terkonsentrasi, bandingkan dg saat ini anda hrs me-maintain sktr 60 PC dibandingkan dg hanya sktr 5 server saja. 3. Umur pc client akan lbh panjang, kalau menurut versi Gartner : dari 25.000 ke 175.000 jam 4. Lbh mudah dalam me-manage virus Kerugian : 1. Perlu investasi pada server yang lebih besar 2. Ketergantungan terhadap server tinggi (user sama sekali tidak bisa bekerja). 3. Kurang fleksible dlm pengertian, setiap user tidak bisa customize tampilan di layarnya spt screen saver, wall paper berdasarkan keinginannya. Yang perlu saya tekankan, bahwa dengan merubah dari Client server ke Thin Client, jangan berdasarkan karena ingin menghemat License, karena dengan perubahan itu, secara licese tidak akan banyak gunanya. Lihat buku manual Mobonya ... Beberapa mobo sekarang memerlukan Powersupply yang spesifik misalnya butuh power supply yg bisa supply 15A di 12V nya... Perhatikan spec yang sama ketika membeli PS konyolnya ada toko (bahkan yang terkenal di glodok) tidak memperhatikan spesifikasi tersebut (terutama mereka yang biasanya hanya test sampe BIOS/DOS - nyala langsung bungkus) saya pernah lihat mobo yang butuh spec seperti di atas namun di pasangkan dengan PS yang hanya support 14A di 12V, alhasil setelah nyala beberapa menit komputer langsung hang/restart. konyolnya teknisi yang merakit PC tersebut ngotot kalo mobonya yang error karena Powesupplynya sudah di ganti berkali2 (...tapi saya lihat dengan merk dan spec yang sama! ) dia bilang saya udah pasang ratusan, semuanya jalan!! mungkin bener juga sih tapi bisa juga karena pengaruh kecepatan processornya yang dipasang mentok ke batas Mobo 3Ghz (bukan overClk) jadi konsumsi dayanya lebih, sedangkan si Teknisi biasanya pake 2.53/2.8Ghz. Ada kemungkinan juga sering restart karena voltase turun, check dengan volt meter, saya pernah pasang komputer di kompleks Natio di dekat pondok gede, komputer tersebut tidak nyala sama sekali padahal sebelumnya baik2 saja, kemudian tiba2 nyala tapi sering ngehang, Curiga sama tegangan listrik ...sy periksa listriknya (dari output stabilizer) berubah2 antara 180-240V (!!) dan sebelum stabilizer (170-200V) !! Malam hari bisa 160V !! TV saja ngga nyala !! sy pikir kesalahan jaringan listrik di rumah, tapi ternyata tetangga2 juga mengalami hal yang sama (aneh koq pada nggak protes??!! padahalkan mereka bayar listrik sama mahalnya sama yang lain ??!) saya coba ganti stabilizer lama dari komputer sebelumnya dengan yg baru, walaupun bisa jalan komputernya namun stabilizer tersebut sedikit lambat dalam merespon kenaikan tegangan, setelah input anjlok selalu di ikuti dengan tegangan output naik sampe tegangan 248V ato lebih baru bbrp detik kemudian kembali normal karena takut berpengaruh negatif terhadap kompie tsb, saya merekam hasil bacaan Volt meter dengan video kamera ponsel ketika tegangan anjlok dan naik untuk bukti menukar stabilizer. sempet sulit menukarkan stabilizernya karena ketika di test di toko listriknya stabil, pelayan di toko ngga bersedia menerima kembali barangnya, tapi karena saya membawa bukti rekaman dari lokasi akhirnya saya boleh tuker tambah dgn Stabilizer yang lumayan bagus (harganya ngga bagus) oleh pemilik toko tersebut setelah di pasang penggantinya komputernya ngga pernah bermasalah ...sampai sekarang belom di panggil lagi =) (sebaiknya minta garansi sama yang jual stabilizer, dan buat perjanjian kalo barang nggak bagus bisa balik, ato paling ngga bisa tuker tambah sama yang lebih bagus ) Sorry kalo kepanjangan, cuma bagi2 pengalaman cheers, Dhias. budhik wrote: Dear members, Komputer saya kenapa restart terus ya ? Dear all, Kebetulan lagi butuh software billing telephone. Kalau ada dari rekan itcenter ini yang punya penawaran kirim ke e-mail saya . Sekalian juga yang bisa batasin pemakaian telepon. [ITCENTER] ??? VIRUS FLUBURUNG
Salam, Flash disk saya kena virus, yang bikin semua folder yang ada di flash disk itu menjadi hidden. Dilihat pake view all ( system and hidden files ) tetap gak keliatan, tapi saat saya cek kapasitas flash disknya ternyata terpakai 100mb. Terus saya cek dengan cara attrib itu flash disk,, ternyata ada beberapa file asing, yang berekstensi *.scr dan ada folder² baru dengan nama sama ama folder² yang ada di flash disk saya, tapi folder tsb berekstensi *.exe. Saya scan pake beberapa anti virus ( AVG, McAffe, Norton, Kaperski) NGGAK MEMPAN L,,, keliatannya ini virus nggak / belum terdeteksi. Terus saya coba babat pake PCMedia Anti Virus,,, berhasil terdeteksi ( *.scr ) tapi gak bisa didelete….. Yang mau saya tanya : Benar nggak nama virus ini virus FluBurung ? terus apa ini variannya Brontok ? Pake apa ya untuk ngebasmi nya ? Kalau pakai citrix license memang diperlukan dan cukup mahal juga, yang terpenting infrastructure di WAN berapa besar BW nya dan berapa banyak client yang mengakses aplikasi tersebut. kelebihannya kalau citrix, untuk menghemat BW ada beberapa product WAN Accelerator dapat melakukan compress citrix. keuntungan menggunakan Thien Client: 1. administrasi terpusat 2. melakukan update aplikasi ERP cukup di pusat 3. memudahkan maintenance 4. memudahkan troubleshoot pc thien client dkk kalau menggunakan thien client seperti Terminal Service Dari Microsoft itu juga cukup murah kok. apabila menggunakan win 2000 dan client menggunakan win 2000 prof, itu tidak perlu tambahan license hanya cukup install terminal service license. tetapi kekurangannya untuk TS windows, aplikasi TS tersebut selalu di encrypt walaupun sudah kita setting security low, sehingga apabila menggunakan WAN Accelerator tidak banyak berpengaruh accelerasinya. berpengaruhnya kalau aplikasi yang lain di dalam jaringan WAN persentasi compress nya sangat besar. cheers chips - Original Message - From: Suryo Basuindro To: ITCENTER@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tuesday, October 03, 2006 10:16 AM Subject: Re: [ITCENTER] Thien Client : apa untung ruginya? Sebelum di defrag, mungkin lebih baik di Disk Cleaner dulu, supaya file-file sampah dibuang. Saya secara berkala, sedikitnya sebulan sekali selalu men Disk Cleaner dan Disk Defragmenter. Periksa juga, program yang di startup dan buang yang tidak perlu, karena akan memperlambat proses. Untuk masuk ke Startup, Start, Run, ketikkan msconfig OK, maka akan muncul menu System Configuration Utility, klik tab Startup dan lihat program apa saja yang dicentang. Hilangkan tanda centang untuk program yang tidak diketahui jelas untuk apa.
