AFAIK: Nope! For all, CMIIW Anyway, are you sure tetap mau pakai speed 100Mbps di 150 Meter? Karena kalau kamu bisa toleransi speed-nya turun (tidak lagi 100Mbps), CAT5-E bisa koq di geber s/d 150 Meter. Coba yakinkan lagi apakah kamu REALLY butuh speed 100Mbps :D Alternatively, coba main2 Try and Error. Crimp RJ45 pada Kabel 150 Meter tsb pada kedua sisinya dan test dengan UTP/Fluke Tester apakah masih OK. Kalau kamu login di server dengan account Domain User, tentu wajar kalau pesan error tsb muncul (karena tidak memiliki privildege ADMIN). Coba dicek metode2 berikut pada server: 1. Apakah printer sudah di share dengan baik (cek juga share-name dan security/permission-nya) ? 2. Apakah nama share berubah dari sebelumnya ? 3. Apakah dari Workstation bisa melihat share-name printer tsb? Caranya buka IE dan ketikkan: \\192.168.1.1\ (lalu tekan ENTER). Asumsi: IP address 192.168.1.1 adalah IP server kamu. 4. Kalau kamu punya login Administrator pada server, coba buka: Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Event Viewer. Cek disana apakah ada informasi penting yang menyebutkan error (MISAL: Printer Spooler gagal berfungsi). FYI: Jika Printer Spooler Service dalam keadaan STOP, maka Printer Sharing tidak akan berfungsi. Dari situ harusnya bisa terlihat, ada masalah apa sebenarnya. Hal lain yang tidak kalah penting: Cek Virus pada server. Some of virus bisa men-downgrade user Administrator sehingga ia tidak lagi memiliki Priviledge ADMIN. Dear ITers, Komputer gw lagi bermasalah ni, masalahnya gini: 1. Kalo dinyalakan, 1 menit pertama normal2 aja, tapi lama2, gak sampe 2 menit, kipasnya processornya tambah pelan, pelan, pelan dan akhirnya mati. Prosesor gw AMD aThlon, kipasnya gw pake merek Thermal Take, udah 4 taon lah kira2. 2. Kipas mobo sama sekali ga jalan. 3. Komputer sering kereset, sepertinya powernya gak kuat ato gimana gt. Tindakan yg uda gw ambil adalah mengganti power supplynya dengan yg baru, karena gw kira masalahnya di power supply, tapi ternyata masih sama. Blom gw coba ganti fan sih krn blom sempet, mungkin sabtu ini gw ganti fan. Tapi itu kalo problemnya di fan, takutnya fan diganti jg masih sama. Hamachi tugasnya hanya menghubungkan kompie A dgn kompie B, selama kita sudah terhubung dan kemudia server hamachi down ga' ada pengaruh terhadap koneksi kita karena koneksi sudah peer to peer. efek klo server hamachi down adalah kita ga' akan bisa konek ke sesama pengguna hamachi. tapi server hamachi jarang banget down-nya. satu lagi, Hamachi Secure dan Freeware :-) moga bisa bermanfaat. supaya aman dan enak, lebih baik partisi dahulu hardisk menjadi 2 atau lebih partisi. terus instal windows seperti biasa. setelah terinstal, sebaiknya my documents yang biasa terletak di drive c: dipindahkan ke drive yang lain, sehingga kalau terjadi apa2 dengan sistem, yang diformat hanya drive c: saja. cara memindahkan my document: klik kanan icon my document di desktop. kemudian pilih propertis. di field target, jangan dihapus semua. cukup yang paling depannya saja (nama drivenya saja) misalnya c:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents, ganti menjadi d:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents. sedangkan untuk keamanan, sebaiknya data-data penting segera diback-up --- In ITCENTER@yahoogroups.com, ule_ampuh [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Assalamualaikum wr. wb. Komputernya kena worm SASSER tuh mas. Solusinya diupdate windowsnya dengan patch terbaru atau pake sasser removal.
