Saya sudah coba utk install Symantect Endpoint Protection coorporate ver 12 Forefront terbaru 64bit tapi malah bluescreen. Saya googling penjelasan yg spesifik detail nya msh belum dpt jg. Saya pernah baca McAfee 2010 support utk win7 64bit tapi setelah tanya2 ke engineer bhinneka.com apakah McAfee support normal di install di core I5core I7 mereka tidak yakin. Netters... Akhir-akhir ini jaringan printer di kantorku bermasalah, saat mau ngeprint ke semua host printer yang dishare keluarnya lama banget, bahkan ada yang ga bisa sama sekali. Aku coba add printer lagi dengan host printer yang sama pc client yang menjadi host printernya muncul, tapi printernya ga muncul. Jaringan di kantorku pake wireless, dengan IP dinamic. Bro, berbagi sedikit tentang Modem, saya sudah mencoba beberapa mobile modem ( bandluxe, huawei, AtT dll ), klo mau beli modem perhatikan : 1. jaringan modem tersebut : GSM atau CDMA. 2. Akan dipakai sendiri atau di share, karena bisa dishare menggunakan USB modem mobile wireless. klo mau di share dengan wireless mungkin bisa memiilih modem Huawei ( sorry bukan promosi ) karena huawei juga mengelurkan USB modem mobile wireless yang bisa di pakai nge share dengan wireless tapi hanya dengan modem merek Huawei saja ( karena di lock, walaupun sudah ada unlock nya tapi aku belum nyoba ) 3. Speed nya ada yang 7 Mbps dan 3 Mbps ( tapi speed koneksi internetnya tergantung operator kartunya ) 4. Harganya ( tentunya sesuai dengan kantung kita bro ) 5. Syarat menggunakan jaringan gigabit: 1. nic / lan card yang sudah gigabit. (cara periksanya lewat hardware info). 2. switch portnya yang sudah support gigabit. (cara periksanya lewat liat series lalu cocokkan dengan data sheetnya). 3. kabel utp CAT 6. ini yang sulit, kalau sudah tertanam di tembok harus pakai fluke. Tapi cara Mr Boyke sangat efektif, meski tidak bisa menentukan bagian mana yang belum support Gigabit. [ITCENTER] Windows 2003 tidak bisa shutdown

Saya bukan orang IT, namun mempunyai pengalaman : Kalau saat start, komputer anda bekerja sangat lambat, umumnya hal tersebut disebabkan antara lain : Komputer sedang mendownload program-program yang terdaftar dengan jumlah banyak di Start Up, sedangkan salah satu program tersebut, bermasalah, antara lain karena saat terrekam di harddisk yang terbentuk dalam 1 file, lokasi bagian-bagian filenya, terpisah-pisah. Bisa juga, karena harddisk anda penuh, maka akses ke file tersebut membutuhkan waktu lama, karena head harddisk harus berjalan jauh. Karenanya, begitu bisa masuk ke windows, segera buang program-program yang tidak berguna yang di download ke RAM. Caranya : Masuk ke Start, Run, ketikkan msconfig, setelah menu muncul, pilih tab Startup, lihat program apa saja yang dimuat ke RAM saat start dan untuk sementara, kosongkan SEMUA centang untuk program yang tidak diperlukan dengan mengklik tombol Disable All, Apply dan OK. Selanjutnya akan ada info agar anda merestart komputer dan pilih agar di Restart, maka komputer akan restart dan seharusnya saat ini, komputer akan sudah lebih cepat waktu startnya, karena tidak ada program yang di download saat start. Setelah proses ini berhasil, untuk mempercepat proses komputer setelah proses start dilakukan, gunakan program Disk Cleaner untuk menghapus file-file yang telah dihapus, yang sebenarnya belum terhapus total. Dengan membuang file ini, maka ruang kosong pada harddisk akan lebih banyak, sehingga akses head harddisk, akan lebih pendek dan ringan, dan hal ini akan membuat akses ke harddisk, lebih cepat. Caranya : Masuk ke Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Clean up. Akan muncul pilihan drive mana yang akan di Clean Up dan pilih yang drive sistim yang umumnya adalah drive C: terlebih dahulu. Setelah dipilih maka akan tampil semua pilihan yang bisa dihapus. Kalau anda sudah mempunyai catatan website penting yang diperlukan, bisa langsung semua dihapus. Kalau belum, catat dahulu website-websitenya. Sekarang centang SEMUA kotaknya dan jalankan. Tunggu sampai semua file yang pernah dihapus belum terhapus total, sekarang akan dihapus total. Secara berkala, selalu jalankan program ini agar akses ke harddisk lebih cepat. Setelah proses di atas selesai, gunakan program Defragmenter untuk menata kembali tempat di mana suatu file di simpan. Sebagai contoh, saat anda menyimpan misalnya 5 file ke harddisk, maka saat harddisk masih kosong, file tersebut akan di simpan secara berurutan, yaitu file nomer 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 dan seterusnya. Suatu saat, anda menghapus file no 3, maka sekarang lokasi bekas file nomer 3, kosong. Begitu anda menyimpan file ke 6 yang ukurannya lebih besar dari ukuran file nomer 3, maka data awal file nomer 6, akan disimpan di bekas file nomer 3 dan sisanya disimpan di lokasi setelah file nomer 5. Hal ini berlangsung terus, sampai-sampai semua tempat penyimpanan data file begitu rumit, sehingga saat anda membuka suatu file, head harddisk, akan bekerja keras kesana kemari, mengambil data file yang lokasinya sudah tercerai berai. Nah dengan menjalan program Defragmenter, maka lokasi setiap file, akan ditata kembali sedemikian, sehingga filenya menjadi satu kesatuan di satu lokasi. Dengan demikian, yang biasanya pembacaan data ke harddisk, lambat, sekarang akan menjadi cepat. Caranya : Masuk ke Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter. Selanjutnya akan muncul menunya dan pilih dahulu untuk drive sistim yang umumnya adalah drive C: terlebih dahulu. Jalankan proses Defragmenternya sampai selesai. Secara berkala, lakukan proses ini agar proses komputer bisa lebih cepat. Setelah itu, seharusnya komputer anda akan start dengan cepat dan juga proses saat mengakses program ke harddisk. Saya bukan orang IT, namun punya pengalaman, kalau komputer terkena virus, daripada mencoba-coba mencari program anti virus atau mencoba-coba program untuk memperbaiki sistim, yang kebanyakan hanya membuang waktu yang lebih sering tidak berhasil, saya selalu : Menyimpan data penting di drive lain dan sama sekali bukan di drive sistim yang biasanya di drive C: yang rawan terkena virus. Membackup Email Address, Email Rules dan lainnya di drive lain. Begitu komputer terkena virus, sebenarnya bisa dicoba dengan me REPAIR windowsnya dengan memboot ke CD/DVD ROM yang sudah dimasukkan CD Instalasi windows, sampai ada menu untuk me REPAIR dan kemudian di pilih dan dijalankan. Kalau kemudian ternyata tetap gagal, maka dicoba lagi dengan meng INSTALL ulang Windowsnya dengan memboot ke CD/DVD ROM yang sudah dimasukkan CD Instalasi, melewati menu REPAIR dan sampai pada menu yang memperlihatkan drive-drive yang ada di harddisk, menyorot drive sistimnya dan meng INSTALL ulang windowsnya. Namun, karena pada kenyataannya sering gagal dan membuang waktu, akhirnya saya LANGSUNG saja melakukan men DELETE partisi sistim, meng CREATE partisi sistim, mengurangi VOLUME partisi yang disarankan dan kemudian meng INSTALL ulang windows dan semua program lain yang dibutuhkan. Cara ini hanya membutuhkan waktu sekitar 2 jam an dan sudah saya coba, selalu berhasil dengan tuntas.
