I have, use and love this Bible collection. Pastor Tom's Bibles contained in the optasia Bible Collection are all in html format and will open in your default Browser. hth and God Bless, Doris At 11:42 PM 1/6/2011, you wrote: If you want an alternative to working online, we, at Optasia Ministry, have 24 Bible versions, plus some Catholic Bibles. Hi Brad Try the following. 1. Open the Word configuration manager. 2. Go down to Text Processing & right arrow to open. 3. Arrow down to General & right arrow to open. 4. Arrow down to Enhanced Edit Support, if this box is checked, press spacebar to uncheck it. 5. Tab to okay & press enter to save your changes & close. Let us know if this helped or not. Take care. [JAWS-Users] Jaws friendly fax applications?
Looking for a Jaws friendly fax application, something which will convert a document into an image then send it off preferably with a cover page. I don't prefer an on-line solution at this time, one that runs on my computer and sends directly over the phone. I was looking at the Windows fax programme but it seems to want a scanned image. If I am mistaken and someone knows how to use the Windows programme I would be delighted to hear from them. I don't care about receiving faxes, just sending them. I do have K1000 version 11 but that fax application doesn't seem to want to work here. Thanks. Dale leavens. Re: [JAWS-Users] Research It in Jaws
A possibly more durable solution, then, wouldn't you think, would be for FS to use more than one Web site for each search; and to instruct Research It, when finding that primary site doesn't work, try the specified alternative(s). - Original Message - From: "Rick Justice" To: Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2011 10:47 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Research It in Jaws I notice that quite a few people write the list about Research It not working from time to time. The most likely cause for this, is that website information used in Research It has changed. Jaws relies on specific information from each site to be available, and when the website in question changes that information, the Research It utility fails to work correctly. This is why FS will have to continually update Jaws in order for Research It to work. Whenever you have a problem retrieving information using this utility, and you will , simply contact FS to make them aware of the problem. Bible Gateway is very good. I have also used a similar site for about 10 years. http://www.SearchGodsWord.org I used this site because I was easily able to add a modified version of their Bible Search form in the footer of every page on our Church website. Re: [JAWS-Users] How do i delete favorates?
This method of simply hitting Delete, which I've seen posted twice now, does put whatever you delete in the Recycle Bin. To bypass the Recycle Bin one needs to hold down the Shift key, then press and release Delete, release the shift, then press and release Y for yes to the delete dialog. This isn't any more secure a delete than just hitting delete alone, but the difference is that anything in the Recycle Bin's still eating up disk space, whereas if it's not in the Recycle Bin it's not actually still eating up disk space. The deleted item could still be recovered, even when actually deleted, until it's actual space it occupied has been sufficiently written over with other files. -Greg Epley Thinkzo Systems Web: http://www.thinkzo.com On 1/6/2011 4:40 AM, Janie Degenshein wrote: Just bring up your favorites with alt a and when they come up tap the delete key Keep Smiling, Janie Degenshein Access Tech Consultant Facilitator of ECHO Co-host of OTBS On The Bright Side www.thruoureyes.org/brightside.html jdege...@comcast.net -Original Message- From: david ingram Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2011 2:41 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] How do i delete favorates? Another way to open up your own profile's Favorites is to press WindowsKey+R to bring up the Run dialog, or under Vista or Windows 7, if you have them configured with the Search edit box focused when you press the WindowsKey, then simply type the word favorites and press Enter. This works for a lot of other items under Windos 7, not sure about Vista, or so I've read. -Greg Epley Thinkzo Systems Web: http://www.thinkzo.com On 1/6/2011 1:50 AM, John Martyn wrote: Go to the local disk C.
