[JAWS-Users] setup software
Hi all Anyone who know any software to do the things like this? I'd like to create a cd which contain some common software, and an autorun file would link to all of these software. Let's me give some more details 2. When start the autorun file, the list of the software appear, then user can use the arrow keys to select one of this software, then enter two install. 2. I used to see a software like that. It uses an ini file to store the info such as the location for each of setup file, as well as a wav file to play each time user navigate to this, but I don't remember the name. Any help would be appreciated. Cuong. Dang Manh Cuong HCMC University of Pedagogy: The Educational Psychology Mobile: +84 902-572-300 E-mail: dangmanhcu...@gmail.com Yahoo! hello the third way to do this is; navigate to where the document is, do not enter on it, just copy to clipboard, now go to your outlook2013, new message, put the necessary information, recipient, subjectline, now tab to the body of the message, now paste contents from clipboard, you should see your attached file. this works for all versions of outlook. hope this helps. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Kimsan Sent: Wednesday, June 12, 2013 1:19 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] sending an attachment If outlook is the default email client, just navigate to the file in question, bring up the context menu by pressing shift f10 or your applications key and arrow down to sendto and look for mail recipient. Re: [JAWS-Users] setup software
Hi Cuong, If I understood your wishes correctly, than you would like an opening screen to your CD. What is about creating a simple HTML page with all of the needed links to the installabel softwares on the disk? Then you simply copy this HTML page to your CD and set it as the starting point in the autorun.ini. In this case your users' windows will start the default browser and it will open your start screen. I often use this technique if I have to distribute informations in various types. It is good to collect all things together in a simple list with descriptions. It is easy to maintain and easy to understand for the users, too. As simple as best. Using jscript or vbscript you can turn this simple page into a sophisticated installation program without any limitation. Re: [JAWS-Users] setup software
Hi Dang, If I understand your message correctly, you shouldn't need any software to do this, unless you are looking for something elaborate for some reason. Unless it is disabled on your system, Windows Auto-run, should work just fine. If you burn a disk with the installers for different programs, when you insert it into the drive, the auto-run window should open and ask what you want to do with the disk. In this case, you would choose, open folders to view files in Windows Explorer. This would present you with a list where you could choose the program you want. Re: [JAWS-Users] Please help! my windows7 computer is frozen!!!
It is likely brand-dependent as to the procedure to get into safe mode. Usually, I've seen f8 and in some cases, f2. It is sometimes hard to catch, but assuming it passes the pre-test where you may hear a short beep, there will be a quick message on the bottom of the screen telling you to push f8 or f11 or f2, to get into bios settings. I just push the appropriate key rapidly until it comes up in safe mode. If your computer doesn't boot normally, you can try restoring from the last-known good configuration. There are other things you can do in Safe Mode, or in Safe Mode With Networking, but it is hard to give you advice without knowing more specifics. Jaws currently has no provision to run with speech in Safe Mode. So, you'll need of pair of knowledgeable eyes. [JAWS-Users] maximized window
I have the same problem on my XP machine, and I don't know how to fix it. Every time I open up a website it is minimized. Patti I am finding that every time I go into a website I have to use the key combo to maximize it. It does not stay maximized for the next time I go there. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of David Ferrin Sent: Tuesday, June 11, 2013 2:13 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Solve PC Issues I think we just landed on the answer to your original problem, no scripting required. Another way to open the Action Center to solve PC issues is: From the search box in the Start Menu, start typing: Action Center when it pops up in the list, press enter. In the Action Center, you can tab thru the options using the spacebar to activate any of the buttons. As in any situation on the computer make sure to maximize the window by pressing Alt + spacebar, then the letter X this will help in navigation, especially when using the Jaws cursor. You may need to route Jaws to Pc , then page up, to start reading down one line at a time thru the entire window for the necessary information. In the Action Center, you can change the settings for when and what you want to be notified about, such as: User Account Control settings Windows Updates Backup and System Restore and other security features. Additionally, Action Center notifications can be set not to show in the system tray, but I would not recommend this.
