[JAWS-Users] stop :space marker from being spoken

2015-02-04 Thread Rich Widga
I am using JAWS 16 and Word 2013. When I navigate through a Word document

no how to shut this off? Thanks, Rich W.

With “Just Write Checks” you can go to the check writing function and just type
in the date, pay to, dollar amount and memo without entering any other
information. I use JWC just to print checks. I don’t use it to track balances
or accounts etc. Ibought preprinted checks with the bank info already printed
on them.

I don't think that this is a problem with your sound bar, To me it sounds
as

though the jaws speech volume is low. That is why other sounds are loud
while jaws speech can hardly be heard. There is a command to adjust the
jaws

speech volume. I am sorry that I cannot tell you how to do it. But I bet
that if you googled jaws speech volume you could find it. Good luck with
this problem.

Hi all,
  I have 15.0 and Win 7.
I never got a reply on my problem with my speakers in that the “sound
 bar”

now has a muffled sound, especially with JAWS.
It does not appear to have the problem when playing music.
My new observation is that the computer sounds, I.e. beeps etc., are much
louder than the JAWS’ voice, instead of being the background.

By the way, my sound bar/speaker is announced as “Real Tech digital
output

optical”.
And, I am using “Eloquence”.

Thanks for the help.

I am finding the recent ribbon menu discussions helpful as I struggle
to
transition from rank ribbon neophyte to journeyman. I'm using win7,

bit. When I land on a dropdown grid in an element on a lower ribbon I
attempt to use the arrow keys as instructed and nothing happens. None
of the other navigational techniques I know work either - tab, etc. I
enabled the JAWS ribbon menu for ease of access. Any ideas how to
unlock the dropdown grid's secrets?

More generally..I see where not using the JAWS ribbon menu feature can
be advantageous to one who can first letter navigate. Is the ribbon
menu feature just the equivalent of training wheels? This said, I use
Word only for drafts and won't likely need more than an occasional
layout and print color change. Bottom line, I don't like extensive
tabbing or arrowing so maybe going cold turkey to the pure ribbon view
may work

hello there;
my first thought is,
do you have the view setup properly in windows live mail on the computers
which are giving you the problemns?

Here's some instructions for setting the view in wlm2011.

while in Wlm,

Try the following; Note; These instructions assume that you don't
have

the jaws ribbon feature turned on.

Yu need to:
Go into the view menu,
Set the;
Message list drop down;

To one line view,

So,
Alt+v=view,
use the tab key, ,
until you hear message drop down,
Press enter.
Now tab and select, one line view press enter.

Next,
Alt+v=view,
use the tab key, until you hear; Reading pane drop down press enter.
Now tab to off, press enter.

Next,
Alt+v=view,
use the tab key,
until you hear;
Calendar pane,
If it says,
Calendar pane pressed,
Press enter this turns off the calendar pane.

Next,
Follow the above steps,
Alt+v=view,
Using the tab key, if you hear;
Quick views button pressed,
Press the enter key to turn off.
Next,
Depending on how you want to receive your messages, Ascending or
descending,

Alt+v=view,
Use the tab key until you hear;
Sort order drop down,
Enter or spacebar,
Make your choice press enter.

By the way, there are key strokes to do this, however, I thought it
best for folks to learn how to navigate the menus.

Hello Al,

In Windows 7, Windows Defender is an antispyware program and can be used
in

conjunction with MSE and Malware Bytes. Although, if you are running
Malware Bytes you likely don't need to have Windows Defender active. In
Windows 8, Windows Defender replaced MSE and is an antivirus and
antispyware

program. In Windows 8, it should not be used in conjunction with another
antivirus program but can be used in conjunction with Malware Bytes or
other
antispyware applications. Also, in Windows 8, Windows Defender needs to
be

turned on. If another antivirus program is on a system then it should be
uninstalled before using Windows Defender in Windows 8.

Take care.

It comes on all windows 7 machines. It may or may not be turned on in

When you use the Insert V to go to the Quick settings you land in a search
box. Type Gr for instance and then arrow down. The first choice says
something like tagged, all, or none. Pressing spacebar on this rotates
through those three choices. Tagged is the default I think. So just
press spacebar to all. Then tab three times to OK and press enter.

In Jaws 14 and WLM 2011 I was able to label the graphics for collapsed and
expanded and then have it read labeled graphics. In Jaws 15 I cannot
label
the graphics because I can't get the cursor to go to them like I did in
14.

But if you turn Read all graphics on in the quick settings (Insert V) then
it will give you the numbered graphics. I am getting used to figuring out
which number is which. The graphics are as follows in WLM 11.
249 Collapsed
304 Expanded
294 Read
656 Unread
160 Attachment

The 249 comes first when there are several graphics so you can use right
arrow to expand the list and left arrow to collapse the list again.
It might take a little getting used to but I really like having all my
threads kept together.

If anyone knows how to get to the graphics in WLM with Jaws 15 to label
them

I would love to know. I tried all the ways I could think of but couldn't
get the cursor on the actual graphic I needed to label. I used the
directions from the Windows Live Mail 2011 Guide but it did not work in
Jaws 15. Then I tried everything else I could think of but had no luck.

Is there a way to get an announcement if messages are collapsed in WLM?
And, after opening all of the messages that now have been expanded how do

Hi,
Writing a new message to a person or replying back to a new person outlook
will save it to the outlook mystery contact list, not the main contact
list.

If, you have notice your mystery list has grown to maybe to 300 or more.

To delete them, start a new mail, then press a letter and use your up/down
arrow to show the contacts.
If, you don't want them just press the delete key and Wham!!!

I save a contact with control + shift + C.
Using this method you need to have the address on the clip Board .
Or, you know it personally. and follow the prompts.
Then, press alt + S to save it.

2013-10-20 Thread Rich Hamel

Thanks George,
I'm tired of my McAfee on 3 different computers with different levels of
McAfee and all 3 turning off my firewall.

No matter how many times I repair it.
I'll be sure not to get Norton.

Thanks for your help.

is it just mcafee that turns off the firewall, or do other security

Re: [JAWS-Users] What is linksicle?

2013-10-20 Thread Rich

Great advice.
I don't know why I did this.
After installing Belarc I got a couple of other things installed like AVG
scan and some type of PC speed up.
For some reason, when I was in Add/Remove programs, the programs were not in
typical alphabetical order but more chronicle.

The linksycle was next in line and I got carried away deleting things.
I assume, the deleted programs are in the Recycle bin and I could have
retrieve them if I needed them quickly.

I better watch out for turning in to an impulsive buyer on some catchy web
sites.

Thanks for all that you all do.

Rich,

I don't know what that is. However, as a rule of thumb, don't
intentionally remove a program unless you know what it does and that you
don't need it anyway. Ask if you don't know, before you remove such. (Many
of us have learned this the hard way. Also, it would help to know what
model of computer you intended to remove it from.) (You may not need the
program, but a word of caution is in order, in case something else on the
computer, down the line, doesn't function as you 'reasonably' expected it

You might be hearing Anna and narrator rather than NVDA, if it is a female
voice.

Insert q wouldn't work if you are hearing narrator.
Also insert N for the NVDA menus wouldn't work if you are hearing
narrator.

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Disabling NVDA

Hi Rich,

there are various ways to accomplish this task.

The temporary way is to bring up the application manager using
control+shift+escape, ensure that you are in the processes tab by using
control+tab to move through the tabs, tab to the list of processes
currently running on your computer, and, press the letter N to move
directly to NVDA. The good thing is that Windows 7 offers a simple view of
your processes, so you'll know exactly what they are.

NVDA is labeled as NVDA, so, when you land on it, press alt+E to stop the
process. A dialog box will ask you to confirm your descision, so simply
press enter on the yes button, and the process will shut down.

In any case, whether it's NVDA or Narrator, the press of the N key will
identify the culprit.

One thing you should beware of is that you end the process on the correct
NVDA. This may be trivial to you, but I'll sometimes get mistaken when my
screen reader reads out NVDA and NVDIA, as my speech for functionality is
quite high, so I tend to overlook small things like the I inserted just
before the A in NVDA.

This process you should leave alone, as this is your graphics card
process, and your computer, and possibly Jaws may need it to run.

In any case, if it is NVDA, make sure that your screen reader actually
says NVDA, and not NVDIA.

Once it's shut down, press your Windows key+R to bring up the run dialog
box, and type the word msconfig in the edit field and press enter.

In the resulting dialog box, press control+tab to go to the services tab.

Once there, tab to the list of programs, though this may not be necessary
as your screen reader should place you directly on the services tab.

Once there, arrow through the services looking for the application, NVDA
or Narrator and uncheck the box accompanying it. Again, make sure you
uncheck the box for NVDA and not NVDIA.

Once this is done, press control+tab again to go to the start-up tab, and
see if you find the program in that tab as well. You shouldn't, but
better safe than sorry. If you do find it there, simply uncheck the box
that corresponds to it and tab to the apply key. Press the spacebar, then
shift+tab to the ok button and press the spacebar once more.

At this point, you may or may not be presented with a dialog box asking
you to re-start your computer. Regardless of whether you are presented
with one or not, re-start your computer to make sure the change took
effect.

Once your computer comes back up, you'll be presented with a dialog box
letting you know that you're currently running your computer in selective
start-up mode, simply tab to the checkbox that says, don't show me this
dialog box, or start the configuration manager when I boot into Windows,
check this box, than tab to the ok button and press the spacebar to make
it go away.

Good luck, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Scorpio

Whether you need the standard or the professional JAWS license depends on
which version of Windows 8.

Just like in Windows 7.
A professional JAWS license is required for Windows 7/8 Pro/Ultimate etc.
If your Windows is Home or Home premium a standard JAWS license will do.

Hi Rich,

I checked on your JAWS license in our Database here are Freedom Scientific.
I believe your Serial number is: 72231

You can verify this in the about box.

If this is correct, your license is all set right now to work on a Windows 8
Pro computer.

Hope this helps,

Eric

one just called Win 8. Note, if you were to want Windows Media Center, you
need Win 8 Pro. That's why I got Win 8 Pro.

Whether you need the standard or the professional JAWS license depends on
which version of Windows 8.
Just like in Windows 7.
A professional JAWS license is required for Windows 7/8 Pro/Ultimate etc.
If your Windows is Home or Home premium a standard JAWS license will do.

I use McAfee with 14.0.
 I don't use a graphic labeler.
I use the JAWS curser to navigate.
It works most of the time.
I am not please with the product and will probably change to AVG or Quick

The good thing is, I have not been infected and the spam filter for e mails

You have to buy a program if you wish to move programs. For documents,
downloads and the like, windows 7 comes with a transfer tool that will do
the job, you simply gook up both machines to the same network and run the
windows easy transfer program. Your outlook express files can be read
with windows live mail, which may or may not be included in 7, but you can
download it. If all this is too much, get a tech to help, paying for
their time may be easier than beating your head against the wall.

Hi Rich. Wow what a step to take. Hope someone's got your hand, luckily
the list does. :) Here are a few things.
1. If you have windows sixty four, you'll need that version of jaws. Other
then that, you can install programs as you need them, and there are two
folder paths. The first says c:\Program files. Easy this is where all your
sixty four bit programs, if you have them, are found. IE. has a sixty four
bit program if i remember right. The other folder path is c:\program
files\86 or something like that. All this means is this is where your 32
bit programs are put. so all of this probably confusing language to tell
you, just pay attention to where things are installed, but usually
programs know where to install themselves. If you are a little bit better
at computers then I'm thinking, I hope I haven't insulted your
intelligence. I used windows mail, it worked of or me though like it's
predecessor I did pull my hair out a time or two when some of those lovely
errors popped up. If you'd like more help feel free to contact me off
list. And someone make sure i've got those folders right? i'm not albs to
check at the moment.

Hi Rich!

Internet Download Manager (IDM) is an easy to use tool to increase
download speeds by up to 500 percent, resume and schedule downloads.
According to the opinions of IDM users Internet Download Manager is a
perfect accelerator program to download your favorite software, games, cd,
dvd and mp3 music, movies, shareware and freeware programs much faster!

Internet Download Manager has a built-in download logic accelerator that
features intelligent dynamic file segmentation and safe multipart
downloading technology to accelerate your downloads. Unlike other download
accelerators and managers that segment files before downloading starts,
Internet Download Manager segments downloaded files dynamically during
download process. Internet Download Manager also reuses available
connections without additional connect and login stages to achieve better
acceleration performance.

Comprehensive error recovery and resume capability will also restart
broken or interrupted downloads due to lost connections, network problems,
computer shutdowns, or unexpected power outages. Simple graphic user
interface makes IDM user friendly and easy to use.

Internet Download Manager has wide customization capabilities,
downloadable skins, visual XP styles, multilingual interface, and supports
proxy servers, FTP, HTTP and HTTPS protocols, firewalls, file redirects,
cookies, directories with authorization, ZIP preview, categories, MP3
audio and MPEG video content processing and a large number of server
platforms. IDM integrates seamlessly into Microsoft Internet Explorer,
Netscape, AOL, MSN Explorer, Opera, and Mozilla browsers to automatically
handle your downloads. You can also drag and drop files or use Internet
Download Manager from command line. Internet Download Manager can dial
your modem at the set time, download the files you want, then hang up or
even shut down your computer when it's done.

The site grabber feature of Internet Download Manager not only lets you
download required files that are specified with filters, for example all
pictures from a web site, or all audio files from a web site, but it also
lets you download subsets of web sites, or complete web sites for
mirroring or offline browsing. It's possible to schedule multiple grabber
projects to run them once at a specified time, stop them at a specified
time, or run periodically to synchronize changes.

Actually, A Jaws-script has written for IDM but I think It's not
necessary.

For more information and download IDM You can visit
www.internetdownloadmanager.com.

Good luck!

Hi Susie Q,

Follow the steps below but, in the steps below the, apostrophy, is used as
the example. In your case insert quotes for apostrophy.

You can change how Jaws speaks the apostrophy in the Settings Centter
default all applications by doing the following:

1. Press Insert + 6, on the number row above the main keyboard to open the
Settings Center, press, Control, shift, + D, to open default all
applications.
2. Arrow down to, Punctuation closed press right arrow to open.
3. Arrow down to customize punctuation press the spacebar to open.
Don't

press enter here, if you press enter instad of the spacebar, the Settings
Center
will close.
4.A. When making changes in the customize punctuation list, if you do not
want
Jaws to speak/recognize a particular punctuation mark you want to choose
the

all selection. You will have 4 radio buttons to arrow up or down
through. They are none, some, most, all. In these selections they work
backwards than what you would think. For example; If you choose none
for the dollar sign, Jaws will speak / recognize every dollar sign in
whatever you are reading. On the other hand, if you choose the all
radio button, Jaws will not speak / recognize any dollar signs.

4.B. After you pressed the spacebar on customize punctuation, you are now
in

a list of punctuation marks. Arrow down the list and when
you have the punctuation mark you want to change highlighted, tab 1 time
to

the radio buttons that I mentioned earlier.
5. Keeping in mind what I mentioned earlier about these choices working
backwards, select the box in this list, in your case not wanting any
apostrophy's spoken, choose the all button.
6. Now, if you want to make a change to another punctuation mark, shift
tab
back to the list and highlight a different punctuation mark, tab back to
the

radio buttons and select the box you prefer.
7. After you are done making your changes tab to okay and press the
spacebar.
8. Tab to apply, press the spacebar, tab to okay, press the spacebar to
save

your changes close the Settings Center.

Now, I hope that you are not as confused as I am after typing all of this.
LOL Hope this has helped.

Take care.

Hi Rich,

Below are steps on how to delete / / remove / uninstall reinstall your
USB
port drivers. Make sure that everything is unplugged from your USB ports
except for your keyboard mouse if you use 1. These steps are for XP
users.

1. Go to system properties. Here are 3 ways to open System Properties.
A. Press the Windows Key + Pause Key.
B. Open the control panel, press the letter
S, until you land on System Properties, press enter.
C. Go to your desktop, Highlight My Computer, Press Alt + emter key.

2. Control + Tab, 2 times to the Hardware Tab.

3. Tab 1 time to Device Manager / Device Manager button, press the
spacebar, tab 1 time to your computer Tree View.

4. Arrow down this list to, Universal Serial Bus controllers, press
right
arrow to open.

5. You need to uninstall every item in this list, reboot the computer,
Windows will reinstall everything that you have uninstalled.

A. Arrow down the list to highlight 1 item at a time. With each item
highlighted, press your applications / context menu key.

B. Arrow down the list that opens press enter on the Uninstall option.
Do
this on each item in the Universal Serial Bus controllers folder list.

C. After you have uninstalled all the items, Press Alt + F4 to close
everything, reboot the computer.

When you reboot the computer Windows will reinstall all the drivers that
you
uninstalled earlier. Doing this got the USB Ports working again in this
particular instance. If your USB ports don't work after following the
steps
above, you
have more serious issues.
Take care.

Hi,
Try doing a windows e and after you have reached the c drive doing a
left
or
a right arrow to try and find those devices. Perhaps you have a view
enabled
that does not list the devices in a list.
If you still can not locate those devices perhaps try disconnecting any
USB
hub you may be using and plug the device directly into the USB port. If
you
can still not see the device, you may need to use software to access
the
device and not windows itself.
Hope that helps

It may not be F could be another letter. Unplug the drive and see

have one external that shows up as extension drive and it can have

And, the devices are working while plugged in. I assume that means that port

Hi,
Try doing a windows e and after you have reached the c drive doing a left
or
a right arrow to try and find those devices.

It took a while.
My assumption is that Dropbox will keep all of these files/folders in the
cloud and I could retrieve them from another computer or if I had a crash in
the future.
I'm not sure how to automatically save all of my e mails on to dropbox.

The Dropbox site had a link to use the most current version of a browser. Is
that necessary?

Also, the computer is working extremely slow now.

Please give advice on these issues.

Mike,

I save emails all the time without adding extensions, is this something
else

here?
Now, it does pop up and state it's not saving the properties of emails,
but

I don't care for that, it's the message it's self I only want. I save to
flash drives a lot of emails all the time.

Rich,

I save emails first to my docs, then after the flash drive is inserted in
it's port*USB* usually, I then find that email I saved, I then press Alt
N,R

if it's the sea gate, if it's the thumb drive it's L for name of the thing
which is a Lexor or however it's spelled.
This copies it to that drive.
The alt N is shortcut key for send to, the R is removable drive F for my
computer, note this might be different on yours, but the process should be
the same.

Hi Rich,

You have to save the email as some kind of file whether it be an .eml or,

copy an email while it is close paste it somewhere. It won't work.
It

has to be saved as with a file extension to it in on order for it to be

Hi Rich,

Below are steps on saving from OE to your My Documents / Recipes folder.
I
am only using the Recipes folder as an example but, if you're going to
save
emails from different folders in OE it would be easier to make folders
with
the same titles in My Documents to keep them in the same order, so to
speak.

Here are the steps:

Using Outlook Express below is 1 set of steps on how to save an email to
the

Recipe folder in your My Documents folder.
1. With the email you want to save highlighted / selected, press Alt + F,
for the file menu, arrow down to save as, press enter. Or press Alt +
F,

then press the letter, A.
2. A dialogue opens you can change the name of the message here, if you
want.
3.A. Tab 1 time to the save as combobox right here this is where you
choose which format you want to save the email as. Your choices are Mail
*.eml, Text file *.txt, Unicode Text File *.txt. Personally I save
email
in both .EML .TXT formats but, you can't save them in both formats at
the

same time so, you have to save the email 2 times, once in each format.
3.B. We will use the .EML format for now. So, you are in the save as
combobox, arrow down to Mail *.eml, tab 3 times to the save in combobox,
arrow up or down to the My Documents folder, with the My documents folder
highlighted, tab 3 more times to, folder view list view. This is a list
of

folders in your My Documents folder.
4. Arrow down to your Recipe folder press enter to open the folder, now
tab to the save button, press the spacebar. Your recipe has now been
saved in your Recipe folder. If you want to save this same email as a
text

file, your Recipe folder has already been selected so, you don't have to
navigate to the Recipe folder.
5. Press Alt + F, then press the letter, A, tab 1 time to the save as
combobox, press the letter T, for text file or arrow down to the Text File
*.txt option, tab 1 time to save, press the spacebar or enter. When you
are in the save as combobox you can use first letter navigation instead of
arrowing to your format of choice.

Go look in your recipe folder to see if your messages have been saved the
way you want them saved. Saving email outside of your email client takes
some practice getting used to but, it is well worth the extra work. If
your email client was to become corrupted for whatever reason, having your
email saved outside you won't lose your emails. Personally I don't have
any

emails saved in Outlook Express.

Hope this helped.
Take care.

Go look in your recipe folder to see if your messages have been saved the
way you want them saved. Saving email outside of your email client takes
some practice getting used to but, it is well worth the extra work. If
your email client was to become corrupted for whatever reason, having
your

email saved outside you won't lose your emails. Personally I don't have
any
emails saved in Outlook Express.

Hope this helped.

Hi Rich,

You have to save the email as some kind of file whether it be an .eml
or,

.txt file before you can copy it onto your flashdrive. As a test try to
copy an email while it is close paste it somewhere. It won't work.
It
has to be saved as with a file extension to it in on order for it to be
copied. So in short, you will need to save the emails somewhere outside
of
OE in order to be saved to your flashdrive. HTH

[JAWS-Users] Copy to flash drive

2013-06-27 Thread Rich
Hi all,
I have XP and 14.0 and Outlook Express.
I want to copy around 100 e mails that I have in various folders in Outlook
Express and paste them on to a flash drive/thumb drive. {same thing?}.
Do I just put the flash in to the USB port go to e mail, select all of the
desired messages, then paste them in to the appropriate drive/device in My
Computer?

This seems easier than trying tocopy them in to My documents.

Thanks for any help.

Sense your doing hard shut downs. I would run scan disk and defrag. Then
try a restart and if that works do a full shut down.

Hello Rich,

You might want to check to see if your line and paragraphs indication is
turned off. Use JAWS key with V and type the word line (without the
quotes) in the search box. Use down arrow key to the lines and
paragraphs

indication and if it is set to anything else but Off then press spacebar
until the Off option is chosen. Tab to the OK button and press spacebar.

The CTRL+Shift+8 keystroke toggles the state of the View All option so if
you used it thinking that the option was active when it wasn't then you
might have checked the option. To make sure it isn't checked, if you are
using Word 2007 or later use Alt followed by H and then use CTRL+right
arrow

until you hear the Bullets button announced. Use tab key to the Show all
button and if it is not checked then press Alt key to leave the menu. If
it

is checked use spacebar to remove the checkmark. In a version of Word
earlier than 2007 go into the tools menu and choose the Options choice.
Go

to the View tab and make sure the Show All checkbox is not checked.

Take care.

Hello Rich,

Here are a couple things to check out in Word and in the JAWS quick
settings:

If you are using a version of Word earlier than 2007 then use Alt+T to
bring

up the tools menu. Use up arrow key to the options menu item and press
enter key. Use CTRL+Tab until focus moves to the View tab of the dialog
box. Use tab key across the various options and if the option for
paragraph

marks is checked then use spacebar to remove the checkmark. Also confirm
that the checkbox for Show All or Show All formatting isn't checked. (I
am

not at a system with a version of Word earlier than 2007 on it so I am
trying this from memory). Tab to the Apply button if there is one and use
spacebar on it. Tab to the OK button and use spacebar. If there is no
Apply button then just use the OK button.

If you are using Word 2007 or later then use Alt+F and then use up arrow
to

the Options item and press enter key. Use down arrow key to the Display
tab. Use tab key across the choices and make sure the Paragraph Marks
checkbox isn't checked. If it is then use spacebar to remove the
checkmark.

Tab to the OK button and use spacebar.

To check recent changes made in JAWS that might be affecting the reading
of

text use JAWS key with V and tab to the tree view. Type the word Last
quickly or press L until you get to the Last Changed Settings item. Use
down arrow to hear the recent changes made in JAWS. If you find an item
that might have affected the JAWS behavior then you can tab to the Search
box and find the item to change back to the setting you want.

Take care.

Hi all,
Last night, on my home computer, I sent a message to JAWS by going in to my

Has anyone seen my e mail regarding Microsoft word and too much information?

So, how many times have you tried removing the blocked sender? Like, how
many email addresses does the blocked sender have (to your
information/knowledge)? And, although the sender appears blocked, is s/he
actually still blocked? (You might look in some obvious place for a
message sent by them. If you have any messages from them in your Deleted
items, restore them to your message list.) Tangentially - although it may
not be, have you got some additional message rule in place that might be
deleting or removing their messages - before they are downloaded? Almost
finally, it may be that your OE is corrupted in some way, although I've
never heard before of this problem being due to such. Now, Google is your
friend here, as in many other hard cases, so you might want to think a bit
and come up with a suitable search for your problem to do on Google -
like: blocked sender removed but still on blocked senders list - something
like that. And now finally, all other things being equal, you will (or may
still) find messages from your blocked sender in your Deleted items
folder, where they are put when the sender is blocked.

Just a guess but I think he has got it.

a simpler system that worked perfectly.

[JAWS-Users] Changing block sender in O E.

2013-05-07 Thread Rich Hamel
Hi all,
I have XP and 14 and outlook express.
How can I remove a sender from the block sender list in OE?
I've tabbed to remove and hit OK.
The name is removed from that list but when I restart the computer, the
sender name has returned.

Plus, I get a mail demon something when I am trying to e mail JAWS, and get a
message the e mail can not go through.
I am now trying from another computer.
I got the e mail address from the JAWS site and clicked on it there as well as
trying in my address book.

Thanks.

I did press the remove button then OK.
After the reboot, the sender reappeared.

Thanks.

On the Blocked Sender, Do you press the Remove BUTTON? You press this
before you press OK. The sender might have more than one email address,
each of which you would remove if you want to completely remove
[unblock] the sender from your Blocked Senders List.
