[JOYnet] Do you want to make Pancakes....Try out...
Praise The Lord Hope u all are fine with the Grace of our Lord I was busy out here,so i could'nt mail u all Pray for the Youth out here in H'bad Check out this story. Making Pancakes Four year old Justy decided one Saturday morning to fix her parents pancakes. She found a big bowl and spoon, pulled a chair to the counter, opened the cupboard, and pulled out the heavy flour canister, spilling it on the floor. She scooped some of the flour into the bowl with her hands, mixed in most of a cup of milk and added some sugar, leaving a floury trail on the floor which by now had a few tracks left by her kitten. Justy was covered with flour and getting frustrated. She wanted this to be something very good for Mom and Dad, but it was getting very bad. She didn't know what to do next, whether to put it all into the oven or on the stove, and he didn't know how the stove worked!). Suddenly She saw his kitten licking from the bowl of mix and reached to push her away, knocking the egg carton to the floor. Frantically She tried to clean up this monumental mess but slipped on the eggs, getting her pajamas white and sticky. And just then She saw Dad standing at the door. Big crocodile tears welled up in Justy's eyes. All She'd wanted to do was something good, but she'd made a terrible mess. She was sure a scolding was coming, maybe even a spanking. But her father just watched him. Then, walking through the mess, he picked up her crying daughter, hugged her and loved her, getting his own pajamas white and sticky in the process. That's how God deals with us. We try to do something good in life, but it turns into a mess. we insult a friend or we can't stand our job or our health goes sour. Sometimes we just stand there in tears because we can't think of anything else to do. That's when God picks us up and loves us and forgives us, even though some of our mess gets all over Him. But just because we might mess up, we can't stop trying to "make pancakes," for God or for others. Sooner or later we'll get it right, and then they'll be glad we tried. [JOYnet] CHECK OUT "MY CHOICE"(Pls Read This Message..)
Praise The Lord. Prayerfull Greetings From H'bad Pls do read this Message . M YC H O I C E It's quiet. It's early. The sky is still black. The world is still asleep. The day is coming. In a few moments, the day will arrive. It will roar down the track with the rising of the sun. The stillness of the dawn will be exchanged for the noise of the day. The calm of solitude will be replaced by the pounding pace of the human race. The refuge of the early morning will be invaded by decisions to be made and deadlines to be met. For the next twelve hours I will be exposed to the day's demands. It is now that I must make a choice. Because of Calvary, I'm free to choose. And so I choose. I choose Love No occasion justifies hatred; no injustice warrants bitterness. I choose love. Today I will love God and what God loves. I choose Joy I will invite my God to be the God of circumstance. I will refuse the temptation to be cynical. the tool of the lazy thinker. I will refuse to see people as anything less than human beings, created by God. I will refuse to see any problem as anything less than an opportunity to see God. I choose Peace I will live forgiven. I will forgive so that I may live. I choose Patience I will overlook the inconveniences of the world. Instead of cursing the one who takes my place, I'll invite Him to do so. Rather than complain that the wait is too long, I will thank God for a moment to pray. Instead of clenching my fist at new assignments, I will face them with joy and courage. I choose Kindness I will be kind to the poor, for they are alone. Kind to the rich, for they are afraid. And kind to the unkind, for such is how God treated me. I choose Goodness I will go without before I take dishonest gain. I will be overlooked before I will boast. I will confess before I will accuse. I choose goodness. I choose Faithfulness Today, I will keep my promises. My debtors will not regret their trust. My associates will not question my word. My wife will not question my love. And my children will never fear that their father will not come home. I choose Gentleness Nothing is won by force, I choose to be gentle. If I raise my voice, may it only be in praise. If I clench my fist, may it be only in prayer. If I make a demand, may it only be of myself. I choose Self-control... I am a spiritual being. After this body is dead, my spirit will soar. I refuse to let what will rot rule the eternal. I choose self-control. I will be drunk only by joy. I will be impassioned only by my faith. I will be influenced only by God. I will be taught only by Christ. I choose self-control. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control. To these I commit my day. If I succeed, I will give thanks. If I fail, I will seek His Grace. And then, when the day is done, I will place my head on my pillow and be able to rest. With Prayers, Sanath Henry JY Hyderabad. [JOYnet] CHECK OUT THE DEVIL'S BEATITUDES
Praise The Lord. T H E D E V I L ' S B E A T I T U D E S If the Devil were to write his Beatitudes, they would probably go something like this: * Blessed are those who are too tired, too busy, too distracted to spend an hour once a week in Church ~ they are my best workers. * Blessed are those who wait to be asked and expect to be thanked ~ I can use them. * Blessed are the touchy, with a bit of luck they may stop going to church ~ they are my missionaries. * Blessed are those who are very religious but get on everyone's nerves ~ they are mine forever. *Blessed are the troublemakers ~ they shall be called my children. * Blessed are those who have no time to pray ~ they are easy prey for me. * Blessed are the gossipers ~ for they are my secret agents. * Blessed are those critical of Church leadership ~ for they shall inherit a place with me in my fate. * Blessed are the complainers ~ I'm all ears for them. * Blessed are you when you read this and think it is about other people and not yourself ~ I've got you. [JOYnet] God can use YOU!
Hi Friends, Praise the Lord Pray for H'bad. God can use YOU! There are many reasons why God shouldn't have called you. But don't worry. You're in good company . . . Moses stuttered. David's armor didn't fit. John Mark was rejected by Paul. Timothy had ulcers. Hosea's wife was a prostitute. Amos' only training was in the school of fig-tree pruning. Jacob was a liar. David had an affair. Solomon was too rich. Jesus was too poor. Abraham was too old. David was too young. Peter was afraid of death. Lazarus was dead. John was self-righteous. Naomi was a widow. Paul was a murderer. So was Moses. Jonah ran from God. Miriam was a gossip. Gideon and Thomas both doubted. Jeremiah was depressed and suicidal. Elijah was burnt out. John the Baptist was a loudmouth. Martha was a worry-wart. Mary was lazy. Samson had long hair. Noah got drunk. Did I mention that Moses had a short fuse? So did Peter, Paul -- well, lots of folks did. But God doesn't require a job interview. He doesn't hire and fire like most bosses, because He's more our Dad than our Boss. He doesn't look at financial gain or loss. He's not prejudiced or partial, not judging, grudging, sassy, or brassy, not deaf to our cry, not blind to our need. As much as we try, God's gifts are free. We could do wonderful things for wonderful people and still not be . . . Wonderful. Satan says, "You're not worthy." Jesus says, "So what? . . . I AM." Satan looks back and sees our mistakes. God looks back and sees the cross. He doesn't calculate what you did in '01. It's not even on the record. Sure. There are lots of reasons why God shouldn't have called us. But if we are magically in love with Him, if we hunger for Him more than our next breath, He'll use us in spite of who we are, where we've been, or what we look like. Pray that as Christians, we will step out of our limitations into the illimitable nature of who God is. Then our passion for God and our passion to communicate with Him will make mincemeat of our limitations. With Prayers, Sanath Henry This mail is generated from JOYnet, a Jesus Youth mailing list. [JOYnet] Pls spend time to read this Powerful Message..........
PRAISE THE LORD. Greetings FRIENDS, I received this from a friend and I do not know if it is a true story or not, but the message is very powerful. THE CHURCH'S PRIEST SLOWLY STOOD UP, WALKED OVER TO THE PULPIT AND, BEFORE HE GAVE HIS SERMON FOR THE EVENING, BRIEFLY INTRODUCED A GUEST PREACHER WHO WAS IN THE SERVICE THAT EVENING. IN THE INTRODUCTION, THE PRIEST TOLD THE CONGREGATION THAT THE GUEST PREACHER WAS ONE OF HIS DEAREST CHILDHOOD FRIENDS AND THAT HE WANTED HIM TO HAVE A FEW MOMENTS TO GREET THE CHURCH AND SHARE WHATEVER HE FELT WOULD BE APPROPRIATE FOR THE SERVICE. WITH THAT, AN ELDERLY MAN STEPPED UP TO THE PULPIT AND BEGAN TO SPEAK. "A FATHER, HIS SON, AND A FRIEND OF HIS SON WERE SAILING OFF THE PACIFIC COAST," HE BEGAN, "WHEN A FAST APPROACHING STORM BLOCKED ANY ATTEMPT TO GET BACK TO THE SHORE. THE WAVES WERE SO HIGH, THAT EVEN THOUGH THE FATHER WAS AN EXPERIENCED SAILOR, HE COULD NOT KEEP THE BOAT UPRIGHT AND THE THREE WERE SWEPT INTO THE OCEAN AS THE BOAT CAPSIZED." THE OLD MAN HESITATED FOR A MOMENT, MAKING EYE CONTACT WITH TWO TEENAGERS WHO WERE, FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE SERVICE BEGAN, LOOKING SOMEWHAT INTERESTED IN HIS STORY. THE AGED MINISTER CONTINUED WITH HIS STORY, "GRABBING A RESCUE LINE, THE FATHER HAD TO MAKE THE MOST EXCRUCIATING DECISION OF HIS LIFE: TO WHICH BOY HE WOULD THROW THE OTHER END OF THE LIFE LINE. HE ONLY HAD SECONDS TO MAKE THE DECISION. THE FATHER KNEW THAT HIS SON WAS A CHRISTIAN AND HE ALSO KNEW THAT HIS SON'S FRIEND WAS NOT. THE AGONY OF HIS DECISION COULD NOT BE MATCHED BY THE TORRENT OF WAVES. "AS THE FATHER YELLED OUT, 'I LOVE YOU, SON!' HE THREW OUT THE LIFE LINE TO HIS SON'S FRIEND. BY THE TIME THE FATHER HAD PULLED THE FRIEND BACK TO THE CAPSIZED BOAT, HIS SON HAD DISAPPEARED BENEATH THE RAGING SWELLS INTO THE BLACK OF NIGHT. HIS BODY WAS NEVER RECOVERED." BY THIS TIME, THE TWO TEENAGERS WERE SITTING UP STRAIGHT IN THE PEW, ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR THE NEXT WORDS TO COME OUT OF THE OLD MINISTER'S MOUTH. "THE FATHER," HE CONTINUED, "KNEW HIS SON WOULD STEP INTO ETERNITY WITH JESUS AND HE COULD NOT BEAR THE THOUGHT OF HIS SON'S FRIEND STEPPING INTO AN ETERNITY WITHOUT JESUS. THEREFORE, HE SACRIFICED HIS SON TO SAVE THE SON'S FRIEND. HOW GREAT IS THE LOVE OF GOD THAT HE SHOULD DO THE SAME FOR US. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER SACRIFICED HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WE COULD BE SAVED. I URGE YOU TO ACCEPT HIS OFFER TO RESCUE YOU AND TAKE A HOLD OF THE LIFE LINE HE IS THROWING OUT TO YOU IN THIS SERVICE." WITH THAT, THE OLD MAN TURNED AND SAT BACK DOWN IN HIS CHAIR AS SILENCE FILLED THE ROOM. THE PRIEST AGAIN WALKED SLOWLY TO THE PULPIT AND DELIVERED A BRIEF SERMON WITH AN INVITATION AT THE END. HOWEVER, NO ONE RESPONDED TO THE APPEAL. WITHIN MINUTES AFTER THE SERVICE ENDED, THE TWO TEENAGERS WERE AT THE OLD MAN'S SIDE. "THAT WAS A NICE STORY," POLITELY STATED ONE OF THE BOYS, "BUT I DON'T THINK IT WAS VERY REALISTIC FOR A FATHER TO GIVE UP> HIS ONLY SON'S LIFE IN HOPES THAT THE OTHER BOY WOULD BECOME A CHRISTIAN." "WELL, YOU'VE GOT A POINT THERE," THE OLD MAN REPLIED, GLANCING DOWN AT HIS WORN BIBLE. A BIG SMILE BROADENED HIS NARROW FACE, HE ONCE AGAIN LOOKED UP AT THE BOYS AND SAID, "IT SURE ISN'T VERY REALISTIC, IS IT? BUT I'M STANDING HERE TODAY TO TELL YOU THAT STORY GIVES ME A GLIMPSE OF WHAT IT MUST HAVE BEEN LIKE FOR GOD TO GIVE UP HIS SON FOR ME. YOU SEE --- I WAS THAT FATHER AND YOUR PRIEST IS MY SON'S FRIEND." Take 60 seconds & give this a shot! All you do is: 1) simply say a small prayer for the person who sent you this, (Father, God bless this person in whatever it is that you know he or she may be needing this day!) 2) then send it on to other people. Within hours those people have prayed for you, and you caused a multitude of people to pray to God for other people. Then sit back and watch the power of God work in your life for doing the thing that you know he loves. [JOYnet] Power Of PRAYER...............
Praise The Lord!! DEAR FRIEND, I pray that all is well with you and your loved ones. You know FRIEND prayer is indeed powerful, even when we feel like God does not hear us, He DOES. When we feel like God does not answer our prayers, HE DOES, but we have to recognize the answer as in the case of the little girl in the story below. One Sunday morning a little girl in her Sunday best was running so she wouldn't be late for church. As she ran she kept praying, "Dear God, please don't let me be late to church. Please don't let me be late to church..." As she was running she tripped and fell. When she got back up she began praying again... "Please, God don't let me be late to church - but don't shove me either!" Yes, even when that little girl fell, she got up and kept on praying. That is persistence and that is how we should be. When we fall or when we fail, we have to realize that God is there to help us get to where we need to be, and yes sometimes He will shove us to get us in the right direction. So FRIEND be persistent in your prayer life. Never doubt that God hears you or will not answer. There is a lot to the old saying that says "God may not come when you want Him, but He is always on time". His time is not ours, so keep on running for the goal and keep on asking God to help YOU get there on time. Either way FRIEND be persistant is your prayer life and God will not let you be late. [JOYnet] 12 Days of Christmas
Praise The Lord! Christmas Greetings Friend to you and yours, Dear Friend, I pray that God's Blessings continue to rain down upon you. As we quickly approach this 2001 Christmas Season, we begin to carry out our various Christmas traditions. One of the many things that I love about Christmas is the Christmas songs. I can even ocassionally be found to be singing them all year long. One song that I am sure we have all heard are sung is the "12 days of Christmas". I ran across this last year and thought you might want to hear the meaning around that song. I don't know if this is true or not, but it always good to give Glory to God when we can. == When most people hear of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" they think of the song. This song had its origins as a teaching tool to instruct young people in the meaning and content of the Christian Faith. >From 1558 to 1829 Roman Catholics in England were not able to practice their faith openly so they had to find other ways to pass on their beliefs. The song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is one example of how they did it and is in a sense an allegory. Each of the items in the song represents something of religious significance. The hidden meaning of each gift was designed to help young Christians learn their faith. So the next time you hear "The Twelve Days of Christmas" consider how this otherwise non-religious sounding song had its origins in the Christian faith. Days of The song goes: "On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me..." The "true love" represents God and the "me" who receives these presents as the Christian. The "partridge in a pear tree" was Jesus Christ who died on a tree as a gift from God. The "two turtle doves" were the Old and New Testaments - another gift from God. The "three French hens" were faith, hope and love - the three gifts of the Spirit that abide (I Cor. 13) The "four calling birds" were the four Gospels which sing the song of salvation through Jesus Christ. The "five golden rings" were the first five books of the bible also called the "Books of Moses" (Pentateuch) The "six geese a-laying" were the six days of creation The "seven swans a-swimming" were the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit (I Cor. 12:8-11; Rom. 12; Eph. 4; I Pet. 4:1&11) The "eight maids a-milking" were the eight beatitudes The "nine ladies dancing" were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit. The "ten Lords a-leaping" were the Ten Commandments The "eleven pipers piping" were the eleven faithful disciples. The "twelve drummers drumming" were the twelve points of the Apostles Creed. === So there you have it Dear Friend, whether it is fact or fiction, it can help us to reflect upon our Lord who left Heaven to live among us, who suffered and died for us and open the gates to Heaven through His death and ressurection. That was the Gift that God gave us on that first Christmas. What gift are you going to give Him this Christmas? [JOYnet] Check out HOW POOR we are!!!!!!!
Hi Friends, Praise The Lord! Pls do check out How poor we are from this story forwarded by my Friend(Fr Pat) T H EP O O R One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people can be. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?" "It was great, Dad." "Did you see how poor people can be?" the father asked. "Oh Yeah, " said the son. "So what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father. "We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end." "We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night." "Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon." "We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight." "We have servants who serve us, but they serve others." "We buy our food, but they grow theirs." "We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them." With this the boy's father was speechless. Then his son added, "Thanks, dad, for showing me how poor we are." Pray for the Youth in the TWIN CITIES With Prayers, Sanath Henry. Jyouth H'bad.. [JOYnet] Vatican Statement on Human Cloning
Hi friends, Praise the Lord... Check out this statement from the statement realeased by VATICAN Vatican Statement on Human Cloning (27 November 2001) VATICAN CITY, NOV 27, 2001 (VIS) - Following is the communique released on NOV 27 by the Holy See Press Office regarding the announcement on Sunday in the United States of the successful cloning of a human embryo: "The original article in the magazine 'The Journal of Regenerative Medicine', that the researchers of Advanced Cell Technologies published with the date of November 26, 2001, shows in all its dramatic nature the gravity of the event that has been realized: the in vitro production of a human embryo, as a matter of fact, several embryos, that have been developed, respectively, to the stage of two, four and six cells. This event was documented with clear color images from a scansion microscope, that point out the first phases of development of these human lives, which began not through the insemination of an egg with a sperm, but by activating eggs with nuclei of somatic cells. "The authors repeated that their intention is not to give rise to a human person. But what is it that they, as scientists, call in their article 'early embryo', an embryo in its initial stages? Here we have the bioethical question of 'when does human life begin' returning once again as a topical matter, though in all truth, this is a question that has never abated. Beyond the scientific event, in fact, this remains as the object of contention, being beyond doubt - as indicated by the researchers themselves - that here we find ourselves facing human embryos and not cells, as some would have us believe. "The event therefore, powerfully, brings us to repeat with force that the beginning of human life cannot be fixed by convention at a certain stage of development of an embryo; it exists, in reality, at the very first instant of existence of the embryo itself. This is understood more easily in the 'human' method of insemination between egg and sperm, but we must learn to recognize it also in the face of an 'inhuman' method, such as that of the reprogramming of a somatic nucleus in an egg cell; even with this method a new life can be created - as shown unfortunately in the experiment that was announced - a life that preserves, in any case, its dignity just as that of every human life brought into existence. "Therefore, notwithstanding the declared 'humanistic' intentions of those who announce amazing cures through this method, that will go via the cloning industry, a calm but firm evaluation is necessary that will show the moral gravity of this project and motivate its unequivocal condemnation. The principle that de facto has been introduced, in the name of health and well-being, sanctions, in fact, a true and proper discrimination among human beings based on the measure of time of their development (thus an embryo is worth less than a fetus, and a fetus less than a child, a child less than an adult), overturning the moral imperative that imposes, instead, the greatest care and maximum respect precisely of those who are not in a condition to defend themselves and to show their intrinsic dignity. "On the other hand, stem cell research shows that other paths are available, morally licit and valid from a scientific point of view, such as the utilization of stem cells that have been taken, for example, from an adult individual (there are many in each one of us), from maternal blood or from fetuses that were aborted spontaneously. This is the path that every honest scientist must follow to the end of reserving maximum respect for man, that is, for himself." .../HUMAN EMBRYO CLONING/...VIS 20011127 (610) With Prayers, Sanath Henry For Stock Quotes, Finance News, Insurance, Tax Planners, Mutual Funds... [JOYnet] Check out this COCOON story
hi all, Praise The Lord! Nice to see many mails on Different discussion. Check out wether ur opinion is EQIVALENT with the OPINION of JESUS other wise discard it.If u are submitting a mail PLS do pray and send. Here is the COCOON story for u Whenever u pray pls do remember H'bad. A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly. What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon. Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. We could never fly! I asked for Strength And God gave me difficulties to make me strong. I asked for wisdom. And God gave me problems to solve. I asked for prosperity... And God gave me brain and brawn to work. I asked for courage And God gave me danger to overcome. I asked for love... And God gave me troubled people to help. I asked for favors. And God gave me opportunities. I received nothing I wanted I received everything I needed! *** There is an half day session in one of the Nursing school of H'bad tomorrow and day after.Keep this in ur Personal prayers, that all SHOULD be touched. Check this thanksgiving thought, fowarded By my friend(Fr Pat) A T H A N K S G I V I N G T H O U G H T If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace...you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. If you woke up this morning with more health than illness. you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation...you are ahead of 500 million people in the world. If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are more blessed than three billion people in the world. If you hold your head up with a smile on your face and are truly thankful ... you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not. If you can hold someone's hand, pray 4 them or even touch them on the shoulder ... you are blessed because you can offer healing touch. If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all. [JOYnet] Don't be too quick to judge !!!!(message 4 u)
Peace be with you ALL, This was sent to me by a friend of mine(DEACON DAN). Thought I would share it with you. A woman was at work when she received a phone call that her daughter was very sick with a fever. she left her work and stopped by the pharmacy to get some medication for her daughter. When returning to her car she found that she had locked her keys in the car. she was in a hurry to get home to her sick daughter, she didn't know what to do. So she called her home and told the baby-sitter what had happened and that she didn't know what to do. The baby-sitter told her that her daughter was getting worse. She said, "You might find a coat hanger and use that to open the door." The woman looked around and found an old rusty coat hanger that had been thrown down on the ground, possibly by someone else who at sometime or other had locked their keys in their car. Then she looked at the hanger and said, "I don't know how to use this." So she bowed her head and asked God to send her some help. Within five minutes an old rusty car pulled up, with a dirty, greasy, bearded man who was wearing an old biker skull rag on his head. The woman thought, "God, This is who you sent to help me???" But, she was desperate, so she was also very thankful. The man got out of his car and asked her if he could help. She said, "Yes, my daughter is very sick...I stopped to get her some medication and I locked my keys in my car. I must get home to her. Please, can you use this hanger to unlock my car?" He said, "Sure." He walked over to the car and in less than one minute the car was opened. She hugged the man and through her tears she said, "THANK YOU SO MUCH...You are a very nice man." The man replied, "Lady, I am not a nice man. I just got out of prison today. I was in prison for car theft and have only been out for about an hour." The woman hugged the man again and with sobbing tears cried out loud... "THANK YOU, GOD, FOR SENDING ME A PROFESSIONAL!!!" = Thanks ALL for reading. Take care for now. Hold the hands of Jesus tightlty.. Pls do pray for the Nursing Schools out here in H'bad, With Prayers, SANAD HENRY, JYouth, H'bad. ___ *NEW* Yahoo! Messenger for SMS. [JOYnet] MESSAGE FOR U(Guaranteed to lift up our day!)
Hi all, Praise The Lord! We are going to start a JESUS YOUTH PRAYER GROUP IN ONE OF THE NURSING SCHOOL in H'bad.Pls do pray for this intention in your personal prayers. The message given bellow is Guaranteed to lift up our day! S E V E NU P S Fowarded By Fr Pat... 1. Wake Up!! Decide to have a good day. "Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" Psalms 118:24 2. Dress Up!! The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart! I Samuel 16:7 3. Shut Up!! Say nice things and learn to listen. [JOYnet] SURE IT WILL TOUCH UR LIFE - VERY VITAL THAT READ THIS
PRAISE THE LORD. Hi all, Pray for the Youth In Hyderabad. This message is for u all Fowarded By Fr Pat... This is the story of a mountain climber, who desperate to conquer the Aconcagua, initiated his climb after years of preparation. But he wanted the glory to himself, therefore, he went up alone. He started climbing and it was becoming later, and later. He did not prepare for camping but decided to keep on going. Soon it got dark... Night fell with heaviness at a very high altitude. Visibility was zero. Everything was black. There was no moon, and the stars were covered by clouds. As he was climbing a ridge at about 100 meters from the top, he slipped and fell. Falling rapidly, he could only see blotches of darkness that passed. He felt a terrible sensation of being sucked in by gravity. He kept fallingand in those anguishing moments good and bad memories passed through his mind. He thought certainly he would die. But then he felt a jolt that almost tore him in half. Yes!! Like any good mountain climber he had staked himself with a long rope tied to his waist. In those moments of stillness, suspended in the air he had no other choice but to shout, "HELP ME GOD", "HELP ME!" All of a sudden he heard a deep voice from heaven... "What do you want me to do?" "SAVE ME" "Do you REALLY think that I can save you?" "OF COURSE, MY GOD" "Then cut the rope that is holding you up." There was another moment of silence and stillness. The man just held tighter to the rope. The rescue team says that the next day they found him a frozen mountain climber hanging strongly to a rope ... TWO FEET OFF THE GROUND. How about you? How trusting are you in that rope? Why don't you let it go? I tell you, God has great and marvelous things for you. CUT THE ROPE AND SIMPLY TRUST IN HIM... With Prayers, Sanad Henry, H'bad. ___ *NEW* Yahoo! Messenger for SMS. [JOYnet] PRAISE THE LORD.......
Forwarded by Fr Pat ... T H E W H I S P E R O R T H E B R I C K A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and spun the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. He jumped out of the car, grabbed the kid that was standing there and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, "What do you think you are doing, boy?" Building up a head of steam he went on, "That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?" "Please sir, please. I'm sorry, I didn't know what else to do," pleaded the youngster. "I threw the brick because no one else would stop..." Tears were dripping down the boy's chin as he pointed around the parked car. "It's my brother, sir," he said. "He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up." Sobbing, the boy asked the executive, "Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair, sir? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me," Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He lifted the young man back into the wheelchair and took out his handkerchief and wiped the scrapes and cuts, checking to see that everything was going to be okay. "Thank you and may God bless you, sir," the grateful child said to him. The man then watched the little boy push his brother down the sidewalk toward their home. It was a long walk back to his Jaguar...a long slow walk. He never did repair the side door. He kept the dent to remind him not to go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention. God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, only a brick can get our attention. We can listen to the whisper - or wait for the brick. Please do remember me and our group out here in H'bad. We are going to start a Jesus Youth group here in one of the nursing school THIS sundayKeep this intention in mind and remember it in ur prayers.
