I have had the same problem for some years, going back to version 8, and
probably before. I presently have ver. 9.182 and the same problem.

Thanks, but I had looked at 5.7 Prefixes (gbl) but don't believe i explains
this.
One of the options in 5.7 is Typed: Circa, Cir, C.Displayed: Abt.
But I *never* type "Cir". I type "Abt", the screen displays "Abt". Then the
printed report has "Cir" (but only for some individuals, not all).
Still puzzled!

Re: [LegacyUG] Significance of Underlined Numbers in Children's List (Family View)

2017-06-13 Thread Brian Kelly
This is one of the Legacy Options. See options > customize section 3.8.
Bold and Underline on the children numbers can be used to indicate
spouses and continued lines.

Use the other option which places an indicator at the end of the name
instead of bold and underlines if you do not want the numbers underlined.

Michele, your current tip contains the following: "Excel can't handle

Excel Does not have a problem with dates prior 1901. It can handle all

Perhaps you are referring to dates with prefixes. We sometimes think items

If this is the case, then excel can still properly sort. You may have to
define a format, a relatively simple process, or perform a simple cleanup.
