Re: [MBZ] (no subject)....facebook.
i agree with you guys on the Facebook issues, yes I will use it, Almost have to. I am trying to generate the younger generation for future customers. Just to clarify the ' buybenzparts ' as well as the other domains, they are all directed to buymbparts Inc. I need the ' .com ' access. i would hate to tell you how many new customers have gone to the california buymb site thinking it was me. I have been told by quite a few of them they have, and wanted to know where Rusty was. I didn't mean to take the post as a dig, maybe just still a little jumpy, I have made enough customers upset with the hassles and obstacles of taking over this business. I don't need any help in that field. Re: [MBZ] (no subject)....facebook.
Nothing personal intended Q2, I assure you. While as a business owner for most of my life I can appreciate the exposure given by a listing on Facebook, my personal objection is this: In order to even see your listings on Facebook, I am required to JOIN facebook. Immediately upon joining facebook my entire contact with the internet is suddenly overwhelmed with popups and trash generated by my contact with facebook. Something I very much do not desire. Suddenly, I have emails from companies and people who I have no desire to have contact with ONLY by virtue of having ONCE made contact with, and "joined" facebook. It then takes nothing short of overwhelming effort to remove yourself from all those "contact points" that have been generated without your agreement. It is, in my considered opinion, the social and electronic equal to deliberately giving yourself herpes. Grant... Who just had to speak his mind on the issue of facebook and "social media in general'. Buymbparts has had a face book account for over 3 years. As well as ebay, advertising in the Star magazine, Classic Mercedes, can coozies, pens, and business cards for that matter. It appears by this post a dislike of Facebook, or maybe just a dislike of buymbparts, or me. I agree face book is a waste of time, with people airing their dirty laundry, However, a page on face book has the power to reach over 200 million people, for free.. pretty good business sense to take advantage of this way of marketing. buymbparts Inc. has many facets. buyeouroparts.biz, buyasianparts.biz, as well as buybmbparts.net, buybenzparts.com, buybenzparts.net, shopbenzparts.com, shopbenzparts.net. Re: [MBZ] (no subject)....facebook.
Agreed ! Facebook serves no useful purpose in my life. All attempt it makes to invade my personal life are rejected with vigorous effort [and it's taking more all the time]. Simply put, there is a lot of information of Facebook that I just do not "need to know" and "don't wish to know" or "Just don't care to know". By the time you sort through all the trash, there isn't enough life left in the day to find what you started looking for. Thumbs down... in facebook talk. Grant... Re: [MBZ] (no subject)....facebook.
I find it intrusive and a big time waster. I can see the value for staying in touch with people, but the way some people use it to promote their opinions and sometimes worthless dribble I find tiresome. I have sister inlaw and mother inlaw who both post all the feel good and inspirational crap all day long. That part of it makes me crazy. So I guess the service itself is a good thing - getting people to use it in a responsible is another issue... I like some underpinnings of the technology, allowing me to connect with people I don't see on a regular basis. But I mostly use it to keep in daily contact with my mom. Just got off chat with her actually, shared pics of my new 240d, she told me about her pepper garden and shared one of her new paintings. Love.
