hello, iphone has no rival in terms of accessibility. i too have used android
and iphone for years but love using iphone all versions ranging from 3GS to
iphone 6s. all native apps are fully accessible and easy to use. reminder,
clock, calendre, stocks, mail music, youtube, and phone are quick to use.
browsing is very fine and quick like that of a symbian phone. braille screen
input is much productive while typing long google maps work better than apple
maps. even camera and photo viewer also provide much detailed info. so my
suggestion is to go for iphone if you want a device easy to use and accessible
out of the box.

I have been using Android since long and can say with surety that, it
is 100% usable and accessible.

Only thing is, go for latest version of Android and good spex.

Trust that helps.

Hi, Apple has a more polished and stable interface. Most of the apps are
useable but accessibility does suffer at times. Even office apps are
accessible to a great extent. I have both iPhone 5s and a moto e. I also
have a Bluetooth keyboard which has a better support for the iPhone
compared to android.

One more thing, if you plan to use external Bluetooth keyboard with
your device, android will not be a good choice for you, because
android OS doesn't give you much freedom to control and operate your
device through external keyboard. Android is less expensive where you
have hundreds of choices, while apple has very few options in terms
of handsets. I am android user, but equally interested in iOS too. I
have put my decision on hold to purchase iPhone 6s until latest model
of iPhone (iPhone SE 64gb) is released here in India.

Both platforms are pretty accessible, you can go for any OS. Apple
iPhone is accessible out of the box, while you can make android
completely accessible after hunting for several apps on playstore. In
short, if you are computer geek, you should go with android, but if
you want everything polished, go for iOS.

[Mobile.AI] Apple or android

2016-03-28 Thread Kiran Baug
Dear Folks,

I know the above topic is quite old and i will get information on net
but still lot of enhancement happened in android and apple so i
thought to ask all the android users and apple users to suggest which
phones are most accessible.
1. Is all phones are 100% accessible in apple?
2. Do one can use all the productivity apps in apple?
3. Does android latest version productivity apps are accessible?
4. For which phone one should go for in terms of best features and
accessibility?

Please suggest as i want to use phone for office purpose

Thanks and regards,

[Mobile.AI] Apple and android users fight it out

2015-06-10 Thread Asudani, Rajesh
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/mocktale/Mocktale-Android-and-Apple-users-fight-it-out/articleshow/47598110.cms

Apple announced a bunch of new features during the WWDC keynote that took place
yesterday. As it happens after any such event, people started comparing
Apple and Android. The debate took an ugly turn as the parties started throwing
old Nokia phones at each other to inflict injuries. Our Mocktale reporter
listened to both the parties to figure out which is better.

An Android fan-boy put forward his argument and said, Apple is looting its
customer by selling gadgets at exorbitant prices. Every Apple product is an
amalgamation of some of the best features from Microsoft and Google. Apple is
going in the wrong direction and they don't even realize it because they
are using Apple maps. Even after paying sky high prices for an iPhone, you have
to shell out extra money for apps, which is like paying to use the washroom
of your newly purchased house. All criticism aside, I simply hate Apple
products as I can't afford them.

An Apple user replied to all the accusations and said, Apple products signify
exclusivity. Android phones are like those cheap, pirated t-shirts that
you get outside the mall. I might have taken a loan from the bank to buy an
iPhone, but that's the price you have to pay for exclusivity. Also, I would
love to continue making fun of Android, but my iPhone is running out of charge,
so I have to leave.

We also talked to one of the three Nokia users left in the world, and he said,
Nokia has features which will put both Android and Apple to shame. My Nokia
phone can be used as a paperweight and it needs to be charged only once in a
month. And I don't care how bad Nokia is made out to be because it is any
day better than a Blackberry.''
Stories in Mocktale are works of fiction intended to bring a smile to your
face. They bear no connection to events and characters in real life.
