What I always did is; 1. rpm -e $(rpm -qa | grep fglrx) 2. sh ./ati-driver-installer-8.41.7-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg SuSE/SUSE102-AMD64 3. rpm -Uvh --force fglrx*.rpm 4. copy 10.2's xorg.conf to /etc/X11 -- Don't use Sax2! 5. REBOOT 6. login as a usr 7. Yast2 -- Hardware -- keybord (root) 8. just touch setting 9. Click OK buton 10. Sax2 will appear, then test nad save 11. logout, and login again. Do like this as root; # cp /usr/X11R6/share/xessions/e16.* /usr/share/xsessions Then kdm's menu including e16 will appear, and can start enlightenment. For Japanese, we must make Japanuse Language environment for Java. And, MPlayer can play Flash movie and RealPlayer codecs, even with the 64-bit version, now. Jim So, I did a fresh install of the 32 bit version and my troubles went away.
