[otrs] Radius authentication

2007-05-02 Thread Sergio Serrano Gomez
Hi everybody!

I'm using Radius athentication for customers and it
works fine! But now, I want to use it with agents and
get this error:

Can't locate object method "new" via package
"Kernel::Config" at
C:/OTRS/otrs//Kernel/System/Web/InterfaceAgent.pm line
75.

These are the parameters that I included in the
Config.pm:

$Self->{’AuthModule’} =
’Kernel::System::Auth::Radius’;
$Self->{’AuthModule::Radius::Host’} = ’my radius
server ip address’;
$Self->{’AuthModule::Radius::Password’} = ’my pass’;

Any idea?

Thanks in advance.

Re: [otrs] Customer Password for LDAP Auth

The username and password are for a “service account” used to login and
read data from your LDAP back end. Any unprivileged account, whose
password won’t be changed, will do.

[otrs] mod_perl segfault

2007-05-02 Thread Nick Goldwater
Hello everyone, Comments/Suggestions welcome.

As some other people have reported, in my attempts to use mod_perl
(apache2) with OTRS, an httpd segfault is occurring when I try to log
in. I have not tried perl debugging as other posts seem to indicate
that leads nowhere and OTRS works fine on this config w/o mod_perl.

Here's my added http config:

PerlRequire /var/www/otrs/scripts/apache2-perl-startup.pl
... with lines edited to reflect paths, and enabling MySQL and LDAP
module preloads. (Behavior was same before I added any preloads.)

...and in the otrs cgi-bin Directory block:

SetHandler perl-script
PerlHandler ModPerl::Registry
PerlOptions +ParseHeaders

The system is CentOS 4.4 x86_64 on an Intel Pentium-D (dual core),
package versions:

httpd-2.0.52-28.ent.centos4
mod_perl-1.99_16-4.centos4
perl-5.8.5-36.RHEL4

Perl modules are for the most part from RPMforge - I don't think I
downloaded anything direct from CPAN:

It is not planed to integrate full HTML message support into OTRS.

This could be a nice feature. Please open a new enhancement request on

I think you'll get better help with OTRS::ITSM on the ITSM mailinglist
which was created for this purpose:

http://lists.otrs.org/mailman/listinfo/itsm

Our ITSM people are subscribed to this list and I'm sure they will anser

Hmm, looks like the first entry is wrong in Defaults.pm :(. Please try
the following:

$Self->{'Customer::AuthModule'} = 'Kernel::System::CustomerAuth::Radius';
$Self->{'Customer::AuthModule::Radius::Host'} = 'radiushost';
$Self->{'Customer::AuthModule::Radius::Password'} = 'radiussecret';

Does it work with this entry?

Are the agents that want to access the ticket in the group that was
specified for the queue where the new ticket is located? OTRS does
permission handling by the groups where the agents are members of.

Maybe the new ITSM list would be a better place to ask for this
information, because our ITSM people are subscribed to this list:

But I think what you are looking for should be possible.

Then it should be no problem. Just switch from the sendmail module to
SMTP and specify "localhost" for relay host. OTRS will now inject all
outgoing mails into your exim mailserver. See the manual on

http://doc.otrs.org

for more infos how to setup SMTP. Also there is a section how to use
fetchmail.

Search for

via the SysConfig panel and delete the entry for the CompanyTicket

[otrs] Ticket is Open again and again

2007-05-02 Thread Carlos Oyarzabal
Hi List,

I have a trouble:

I did close a ticket but it was reopen automaticaly.
I did see and the currently "From:" and "To:" fields have the queue email
account ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), even when the ticket had "From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and "To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]".

Currently, I did close the ticket and the system open again.
I did try setting a filter postmaster like:

Match
Header 1: From Value: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Set
Header 1: X-OTRS-Queue:   -- Value: Junk

but even so, the system reopen the ticket.

Any ideas to solve?

Re: [otrs] Customer Password for LDAP Auth

The username and password are for a ³service account² used to login and read
data from your LDAP back end. Any unprivileged account, whose password
won¹t be changed, will do.

Don't know, whether it is a 'good' ACL, but here it is. I use it to enforce the
workflow: Only members of the 1st level support team are allowed to close
tickets. With this ACL display of the ticket close link in the GUI is
controlled. I have a group tied to the 1st level queue and members of 1st level
team are member there.
What I do not like is that you have to list all queues explicitly, which must
not allow ticket cloing.

$Self->{TicketAcl}->{'ticket-close-restriction'} = {
 # match properties
 Properties => {
   # current ticket match properties
   Ticket => {
 # all Queues *except" 1st-level must not close tickets
 Queue => ['', ''], # list your queues
   }
 },
 # return possible options (white list)
   Possible => {
 # possible ticket options (white list)
 # possible action options
 Action => {
 AgentTicketClose => 0,
  },
 },
};

Cheers
