Fernando, The posting worked nicely, and indeed this is a Picture Every So Often (PESO), unless you post a Picture A Week (PAW). Alas, the picture doesn't do much for me. The main subject appears to be the swan in the foreground, but swans are not at their most beautiful and graceful standing up. Some tonal separation between the water and sky might help, too, perhaps by playing with the color channels? Rick Thanks for the comments, I think you are right about the sky blending with the water, I'll try playing a bit with the channel mixer; Although it's true that the swans are not in a graceful position I liked it this way because it seems more original to me. Fernando, Must commend you on the DOF. I'm not feeling this very unusual image that much. I'm a fan of BW, but IMO its choice gives this image a flat empty, almost foreboding feeling. So I was expecting to see a photo of Fernando Terrazzino. :-) I think it's an interesting idea, pretty swans against not so pretty background. But it doesn't quite work for me. Maybe if you had been more selective about what you included. I am not a BW shooter, so I don't feel I comment well on tonality, but it overall seems rather gray.
