[SlimDevices: Plugins] FFMpeg and SqueezeboxServer streaming format (http

I direct an http request to the squeezeboxserver for the audio in the format of http://:9000/stream.mp3?player= (this request format is received from the server as part of the client/server communications). Ffmpeg complains that what it gets back does not contain any header information. I guess that's good news in a way but more work for you. Surprised it's not backaward compatible. Still that's life :-) I can now run the following and get logging going ok vlc --extraintf logger dvb-t://frequency=84200 :dvb-bandwidth=8 :dvb-caching=300 :program=18560 :sout=#transcode{vcodec=none,acodec=mp3,ab=128,channels=2,samplerate=44100}:http{dst=:8080/RadioStream.mp3} :no-sout-rtp-sap :no-sout-standard-sap :ttl=1 :sout-keep This gives me a live logging window and writes to my log file as well. But when I put the same in your custom-convert.conf file I don't get any logging screen or output to the log file. _*If*_ you get chance could you cast an eye over the file I attached to my last post to see what I am doing wrong please. -- cliver cliver's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43289 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21804 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

You could use custom skip filters to exclude multiple genres? Code: -- PlaylistName:Favourites least played by Genre... -- PlaylistGroups:Favourites... -- PlaylistParameter1:genre:Select genre: select tracks.url from tracks join genre_track on tracks.id=genre_track.track and genre_track.genre='PlaylistParameter1' left join dynamicplaylist_history on tracks.id=dynamicplaylist_history.id and dynamicplaylist_history.client='PlaylistPlayer' left join track_statistics on tracks.url=track_statistics.url where audio=1 and track_statistics.rating>70 and dynamicplaylist_history.id is null order by track_statistics.playCount asc limit 10; -- MillmoorRon MillmoorRon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6413 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49483 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The .exe is build using Visual C++ Express 2008, so you may need the MS redistributable runtime for that if you do not already have it installed. I wonder if there is an incompatibilty with other runtimes? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
I've been having a few problem with the iplayer plugin running on SBS 7.5.3. SBS is installed on a qnap ts-210. Has been working well, but yesterday it just stopped working. I can navigate to a station, and it even displays the stream's info, but when I try to connect it starts doing so then immediately drops the connection. At times it shows the 'can't resolve ip address' message, although this isn't happening right now since I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. I'm stuck - I can usually get things working with various sequences of reboots and reinstalls, but not this time. Am I the only one with this problem? -- mbrxjepp mbrxjepp's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32936 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
Hi, first - thanks for a great plugin. I recently upgraded my server from Win2003 to Win2008R2, 64bit, and now I get strange problems with the spotifyd application. Windows log pasted: Activation context generation failed for "C:\PROGRA~3\SQUEEZ~1\Cache\INSTAL~1\Plugins\Spotify\Bin\MSWIN3~1\spotifyd.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found.
