Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] CustomBrowse error 404 Not Found: browsetree.html
Thanks for reporting. It's caused by 7.6, I haven't had the time/inspiration to update Custom Browse to fully support 7.6 yet. -- erland Erland Isaksson ('My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info)) (Developer of 'many plugins/applets' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/User:Erland). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] 7.6 Compatible Playlist plugin?
To my knowledge there is nothing similar to Playlist Manager, so if you want this functionality you will have to wait until it has been updated to support 7.6. -- erland Erland Isaksson ('My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info)) (Developer of 'many plugins/applets' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/User:Erland). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Possible MusicIP replacement in time?
Interesting... visiting gracenote.com I see that they're the technology partner behind iTunes Genius mixing... MusicIP imho could help them improve this service, as it's given me poor results compared to MIP. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Connection error with official Spotify plugin
Hi I have the exact same problem since beginning of June. I have tried to switch to another wireless network but the problem is still there. It just says Spotify Connection Error: No Error and then I have to restart my Squeezebox Radio as the error message disturbs all other players (radio, local library) //Niclas -- BlindBoyGrunt BlindBoyGrunt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=47903 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88545 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicIP and Reject Size
I'm pretty sure the reject size is the number of tracks before an artist can reappear in the mix. Have you tried Spicefly SugarCube yet? http://www.spicefly.com/ Spicefly SugarCube is a plugin written to achieve my desire for Squeezebox and MusicIP to work between themselves and play music, nonstop with no hassle and no annoying playlists! SugarCube uses the great MusicIP product but has a number of custom written functions to take it to the next level, allowing you to drift through your music library and discover those great tracks you forgot you had, offering far greater functionality than the official Squeezebox MusicIP plugin. The Spicefly site also has a lot of MusicIP documentation. -- Wirrunna A camel is a racehorse designed by a committee. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Moving to Customscan integration with MusicIP questions...
Hello, I have a setup based on SBS 7.5.5 and MusicIP headless working together on a WHS 2011 box. Now I would like to go deeper in integration by using trackstat and customscan to integrate everything and make playlists based on playcount/ratings, etc... Currently I haven't managed any ratings so far. My goal would be: - Automatically setting up ratings based on the length of the file that I listen to when playing a file (I understand Trackstat can do that) - Exporting realtime those ratings in MusicIP so that a future rescan will not erase them What would be the requirements to do this, is my following idea right: - Install trackstat - Install customscan - Configure trackstat to dynamically update ratings - Configure customscan to dynamically copy ratings to MIP My questions are also: - What scan plugin do I have to activate in customscan ? - What is the best way to update MusicIP information in SBS on a scheduled basis (without erasing ratings) ? (basically I would like to be able to have my music in SBS before MIP analyzis and update it later with MIP fingerprint when it has been analyzed without deleting trackstat info + ratings). Thanks for your help, Regards, Benoit -- Tartifless Tartifless's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37024 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88574 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

You need dymanmic playlist plugin also to make playlists. Also if you know SQL the SQL playlist plugin is also good. You can setup scanner in squeezebox to only scan the musicip status for your songs. This should update as and when you process track via musicip in squeezebox. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Possible MusicIP replacement in time?
I noticed that Mac OSX 10.7 Lion will drop support for Rosetta that allows Intel Macs to run PowerPC applications. I have a feeling that MusicIP for the Mac may need Rosetta... any Mac gurus know how I could check this? I've thought it was a matter of time before some OS update meant that MusicIP wouldn't work any more and Lion could be it for the Mac. -- mikerob mikerob's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=835 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79819 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

buzzsb on what ARM device have you tested it. Previous versions already worked fine on more recent devices. Problem is my NAS (Synology DS 107+) is a bit older and acts up weird in combination with spotify. Maybe I will test again myself in the future. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Moving to Customscan integration with MusicIP questions...
Thanks but that don't answer all of my questions regarding what I want to achieve: Let me proceed by steps, currently I do this: 1) Tagging files with MusicBrainz Picard 2) Move files to Music folder 3) Using MIP headless to analyse and validate tracks 4) Scan for changes in Squeezebox server What I would like to do is automatize steps 3 and 4, would that be correct: 3) Use GENPUID as scheduled task (this would also allow to archive analysis) 4) Schedule library updates in SBS My requirements and doubts: - I would like removed folders to disappear from m3lib file (musicIP database) and from SBS - I need MIP analyses to be archived - I would like in the future to use Squeezebox server as basis for song ratings so the first part I'm trying to achieve here must be compliant with this future need Is my approach correct by using GenPUID scheduled task ? -- Tartifless Tartifless's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37024 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88574 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
