Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
iPeng splits the setting between mobile and WiFI use so you _always_ have to set this in iPeng or iPeng overrules the server setting. This is mainly to satisfy Apple's requirement that for mobile networks the bitrate must not be higher than 128kbps (which is the default in iPeng). You can set this in iPeng's player settings (hit the blue ">" on the current player item in the list of players/servers). On the available limits, iPeng doesn't even allow the 96kbps, I don't know why but you are the first one to find something lower than 128knps useful. I don't think an intermediate step between 128kbps and 96kbps makes any sense so I'm not going to do that, the difference can not be very high WRT both bandwidth requirement and quality gain. -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote and *New: iPeng for iPad*, at penguinlovesmusic.com pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

According to the FAQ - saving as MP3 is the only implemented option. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Album doesn't appear in Spotify 3rd Party App, does in official App not on Spotify?!
Hi there, have just got a Spotify Premium trial and am trying out the Squeeze apps. Seems to me that the official one is not as good as the Triode 3rd Party one (mainly cos the official one doesn't work on my SB 3, I also can't get it to work on my SB Radio, but it also seems like the 3rd Party one has more features so I have not bothered to try to hard yet!) However, I have found one very odd problem - when I search the official app on my SB Radio for Lemon Jelly, it shows the album "lemonjelly.ky". However the 3rd party app does not find this album. Oddly, searching the main Spotify software on my PC does not come up with this album either! Does this mean it is not on Spotify and the official app is playing up by finding it?! Very odd. Also, any ideas why the official app will not play on my SB Radio? It seems to work, finds stuff, but when you hit play, it is just silent. It does force connection to mysqueezebox.com when I start it, instead of connecting through my Logitech Media Server on my PC. I already rebooted the Server, powercycled the Touch, reinstalled license manager, but the scrolling license message doesn't disappear. What can I do to fix it? -- bluebell bluebell's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44283 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91987 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
