Kyle wrote: > iPeng and Amazon Echo devices: Pippin, is any work being done to > integrate these two very useful platforms? Actually I'm not convinced about that. I won't say no since there would probably be a way to do it but it's not really elegant. Siri support in iPeng will come as soon as Apple enables that for music apps but Echo/Alexa is really a whole different platform. It would require hosting an online service to process the Alexa input and then probably send PNs to your iPhone iPad which then needs to connect to the server and send a command and all of it needs to keep you user accounts... a lot of effort that could better be handled directly. There's a thread for an Alexa development project here in the 3rd party section, that's probably a bit more to the point. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 9, the Universal App for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

But in either case the official Spotify app and official Spotify plugin also have to be installed. Yes, the control options are not as good as the official Spotify apps no matter which lms controller you use. I suspect this will never really be improved. If you'd like to use the official Spotify connect type apps, you should look at sonos. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Squeezelite on Odroid C2
The arm compiled version of squeezelite should work out of the box, just get it from Ralphy's site (although I've not looked too much into the 64 bits compatibilities issues on arm). Otherwise if you install the build essential tools, it should also compile easily. I assume you want a C2 for the display part, because as far as squeezelite is concerned, the extra speed of C2 will not make any difference.
