I assume you've seen this thread and several other older threads on attempts to get SiriusXM back. https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?104287-Sirius-Dead-on-the-Logitech-Devices/page8=siriusXM What I do is the following (windows program): 1. Install "Stream What You Hear" on my laptop https://www.streamwhatyouhear.com/ 2. With SWYH running, right click on the program in your tray and select "Tools" then HTTP LIve Streaming. Then copy the resulting link and add that as a FAVORITE (like a radio station URL) in LMS. 2.A. in SWYH settings, tick "log unhandled errors" and "use specific HTTP port". Enter 5901 for port number. 3. Open a browser on the computer running SWYH, navigate to SiriusXM online streaming and start the playback. 4. In LMS/Squeezebox, locate and play the favorite created in part 2 above. 5. Turn off the speaker on the computer running SiriusXM You should now hear the SiriusXM playing through LMS/Squeezeboxes. Sounds complicated, but actually very simple, and most of these steps are done only once. *Home:* VBA 4TB (2.5)>LMS 7.9.2>Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio (all ethernet) *Cottage:* VBA 3TB (2.4)>LMS 7.9.1>Touch>Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (ethernet, Radio WIFI) *Office:* Win10(64)>LMS 7.9.2>Squeezelite *The Wild (no internet): *PiCorePlayer 4.0 on rPi 3B+, hifiberry Dac+Pro, 4TB USB (LMS & Squeezelite) *Controllers:* iPhone6 & iPadAir2 (iPeng), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win10(64) laptop *Files:* ripping: dbpa > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110783 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Something trivial, possibly reported before, but just in case people worry about such things ... If you skip back a live program to the start (the proms in this case), the live icon and 1st line of text move with the real time, not skip-back. Further thoughts. The case sensitivity is only ever going to effect local files and I created these files ONLY because of the and/& issue at ChartLyrics. This is going to be a very rare situation (hopefully) so it is not worth any further development as can easily be corrected with repeat correctly named files, symlinks or album re-tagging when it rears its head. If local lyrics are case sensitive and correcting would mean a major re-write and slow things down then don't do it. I can easily symink or similar when I come across them. The bio files display correctly as HTML i.e. "Bold" is displayed as *Bold* and text is justified across screen window width however in the review.html file LMS renders everything as plain text and does not justify the text across the width of the screen but instead inserts character returns quite oddly. That should be improved in a next release. Thanks for the heads up. As a separate point. Is there any way of hand coding a hyperlink inside a local bio or review file such that it calls and opens the relative album or artist entry from within the LMS database ? Unfortunately I wouldn't know of any such possibility. The best I could imagine probably was a link doing a search, but not a direct "hit" on an album or artist. Hi Pippin I don't know if this has been discussed in this thread earlier but I have a setup with coexistence between LMS and Roon and I wonder how I can move players (I have two SB Touch and a SB Radio) between them? Is this possible using iPeng? When I try the SB Touch just disappears from the multiplayer control screen and does not appear under my LMS music source? I'm not sure whether that is the answer so don't change yet. I'll need to do some testing with MAI in the default skin first. I have now realised that the issue is that MAI finds local lyrics correctly for one variant of a particular album but not always for another and Material does the same. This all comes from me finding that ChartLyrics has "Derek & The Dominos" listed as Derek and the Dominos and a subsequent discussion with Michael about "and/&" in the MAI code where we agreed that it was unresovable except by creating local lyrics files. All my variants of Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs are tagged as "Derek & The Dominos" so to overcome the issue I manually created Lyric files for the entire album under a folder named - Derek & The Dominos MAI finds them for tacks in Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (Deluxe) but only sometimes for Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (Vinyl) It may also be a caching issue so I will clear and re-test. I created some local bio.html and review.html files. The bio files display correctly as HTML i.e. "Bold" is displayed as *Bold* and text is justified across screen window width however in the review.html file LMS renders everything as plain text and does not justify the text across the width of the screen but instead inserts character returns quite oddly. This applies to both the default skin and to Material which leads me to believe that the MAI code for local review.html is stripping HTML from the file. As a separate point. Is there any way of hand coding a hyperlink inside a local bio or review file such that it calls and opens the relative album or artist entry from within the LMS database ? No, then it won't work. To speed up the recyler, I removed as many "if" clauses as possible - as I mainly want the recylcer for lists of the same type. So, when this is used, the search part is not wired in. I think I might see the error. Can you edit "browse-resp.js" and move line 341 ("types.add(i.type);") to line 340 - (i.e so that it is now before the closing bracket, not after). Yes, that would work. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Yeah, search is handled differently - as its not a clickable area, it should be a text field, and search performed upon pressing return. Oh, that might explain it: Qobuz is another of those implementations which uses icons, resulting in a grid view. Is search covered for grids? I assume Qobuz search worked with 0.9.0? Is the search in the 1st level of Qobuz items (i.e. in the list of items after entering the Qobuz app)? Yes, 1st level. Does this list allow toggling from grid to list? i.e. is the "Toggle view" button in the sub-toolbar, or in the main 3-dotted menu on the right in the upper toolbar? Yes, it can be toggled. But Search still wouldn't work. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

For 0.9.1 I changed some code so that the view recycler is used more often - as this is *much* quicker when changing from list to grid, and back. I'm thinking this change -might- be the cause of the issue. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
