Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
Also... I launch squeezelite with these arguments: "-n Headphones -s Music -c flac,pcm,mp3,ogg,aac,wma,dsd -o 17 -a :1". Last argument is for bitperfect playback through WASAPI exclusive. But the thing that I don't understand is why I see SB Server transcoding to flac when the player is configured to handle ogg natively. Operatively it doesn't change a thing, but I'm curious... I'd actually recommend you run squeezelite with the simplest parameters possible. Quite often tweaking formats and buffers doesn't play nicely with Spotty (in particular in Connect mode). -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
Is there any way to revert to the version before 2.4.0? For testing to check on the issue I posted above. Sure that's possible, though a waste of time, as the latest changes have no impact on the streaming. http://www.herger.net/_data/Qobuz-2.3.3.zip Uninstall the current version, extract above file into the Plugins folder. But as I said: that won't change anything. When streaming suddenly starts to act up in an existing installation, then it's most likely something about the network that's causing the problems, not a software which didn't change. In addition to this LMS/the Qobuz plugin is not even involved in the streaming process as the files go straight from the provider's server to your player. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
If I set Qobuz prefs to be 24/96 will LMS transcode it for an SB3? Or does the plugin recognise the player as not capable of 24/96 and request 16/44.1 instead? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Instead of start-fresh-by-reinstall, what got me back to sanity when things got as hopeless as you describe, was to stop LMS, delete all db* files from Squeezebox/Cache folder, and then let it rebuild it all by doing a full re-scan. That's definitely true. A re-install almost _never_ would fix anything. Problems lie in the data (cache, prefs), not in the code. Re-installing likely wouldn't even get rid of that data, thus not change the situation at all. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'm quite new to "SLX" and "Material Skin" as for last 9 years been mostly using old Android app SqueezeCommander (which isn't officially available anymore for some reason) Keyboard shortcuts are indeed from "Material Skin" not SLX. Also there is only one way traffic ie only going back. You are right with WebUI, it's browser handling Back/Forward operation and take you to remembered site (coincidentally WebUI LMS its quite snappy and works well) BTW only default skin accepts "Forward" action ( "Material Skin" blocks it for some reason) I don't know how SLX works and if its kind of "mini browser" which restrict to LMS site and blocks right click operation or "independent" application which redraws everything within app from CLI or whatever info from LMS. If latter then any mouse functions would be to SLX otherwise its probably not possible. hmm I don't really know and only guessing. dolodobendan wrote: > > (Just checked Logitech's website: It's still a thing! confirming that I see none of these issues with Material skin. And as the author of the plugin notes, it would be impossible for Material to modify the LMS behaviors you mention (it's just a skinit still uses the underlying LMS program). Something is obviously wrong in your setup, but it's not caused by material. I'd recommend you reinstall using LMS 7.9.3 (although it is called beta, it is basically final; LMS 8.0 is now the true beta). *Home:* VBA 4TB (2.5) -or- rPi4B/pCP6.0/4TB>LMS 7.9.3>Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio (all ethernet) *Cottage:* VBA 3TB (2.4) -or- rPi4B/pCP6.0/4TB>LMS 7.9.1>Touch>Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (ethernet, Radio WIFI) *Office:* Win10(64)>LMS 7.9.3>Squeezelite *The Wild: *rPi3B+/pCP4.0, hifiberry Dac+Pro, 4TB USB (LMS & Squeezelite) *Controllers:* iPhone11 & iPadAir2 (iPeng), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win10(64) *Files:* ripping: dbpa > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
slartibartfast wrote: > Does everything work if you uninstall the material skin plugin? > > Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk No. That is the odd part. Installing material skin seemed to change a number of functions that did not return to previous typical function upon reinstalling the default GUI, and it also changed related functions in iPeng on my mobile devices. One of the most annoying persisting issues is that the only way I can get new music into my LMS Library is to do a full "clear and rescan" of my library, simply "checking for new and changed" music no longer works; additionally only importing "all song data" works, I can no longer "only read mixable status" from Music IP. What is also confusing is that sometimes the failed scans show successful completed import of the correct number of tracks from Music IP, BUT it does not add them to the LMS library. It only adds to the LMS library if I meet the just explained criteria when configuring the scan, and even then there is an occasional failed scan whereby it shows Music IP import successful, but does not add to the library, effectively deleting my 115,000 track library except for 700 tracks on playlists in a different location. Another funky change with installing Material Skin is that the viewable playlist no longer shows the previous tracks of a random playlist, only current and upcoming. I have worked around this by installing Michael Hergers "what song was that?" plugin, but that only has value when sitting at my PC, not on my Mobile devices running iPeng which is my most common way to manage playback. The ultimate solution could be clean reinstall of LMS, but I'm not sure if I should use current, previous or Beta versions (nor whether I should even reinstall Material Skin. As much as I am impressed with it's functionality aside from the annoying glitchiness it has introduced into my setup, It's not a good time personally for troubleshooting and reconfiguring as it could take awhile to find the correct, or best, combination of server/GUI. rivrwing's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31626 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I apologise for sending you on a wild goose chase. adamdea's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37603 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112503 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

However, you are correct that it does not re-filter when the height changes. This is now fixed for 1.8.5 *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Is this wheel-tilting still a thing? It's been a while since I saw this on a newer mouse. But I also would like to see the forward and backward button to work with SLX. Could be that this would have to be done in Material, though. Menu buttons are only present with Material Skin. ( "side dots" as below) Although mouse integration would be down to SLX itself if I'm correct? 30921 by "Back Forward on wheels rocker etc" I mean additional mouse functions like side buttons or middle button /wheel (side to side) operation. which can be assigned to "Back /Forward" or "Previous/Next" and work in all browsers. (including LMS in browser) 30922 I guess my SLX request would be improved mouse integration . :D I know there are keyboard shortcuts for navigation but mouse would be great too. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] EXPERIMENTAL: "reliable" plugin for HTTP(S) streaming
Just tried this with one of the Sorcerer's Orphan podcasts that always suffered from this issue. The RSS feed disappeared for a long time but now seems to be back. I am pleased to say It played from start to finish. I played it again to try pausing and seeking and didn't see any issues there either. Sound resumed after both pausing and seeking for me although from a brief test I can't say it will never happen.
