There are a few people who have it successfully working on LMS 7.9.2, but it is not recommended. The plugin needs to communicate over HTTPS and it works much better over later versions of LMS. This location will have a subfolder named "plugin". In this folder you will find "superdatetime.prefs" and "customclockhelper.prefs". You can stop LMS on your new PC and copy those files from the original LMS installation to the new PC. When you start LMS again you should all your settings and screen formats are back. Good luck. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Denon AVP Control Plugin
Hi Chris (and anyone else reading this). I have a favor to ask. I think I see a more efficient and straightforward way to handle the Quick Select process in the plugin, which could simplify the network state-handling logic quite a bit. While I'm sure it would work for my Denon AVR-3311ci (based on studying about a million lines of debug output in the last week), I'm a little worried that other AVR's may handle the MSQUICK command differently, specifically in the responses sent back to the client. Mine sends back literally hundreds of responses (all but one of which we ignore), comprising a complete list of every receiver setting, including many that I didn't even know existed. My fear is that this behavior is not typical and that maybe is symptomatic of a bug in my AVR firmware. In any case, to alleviate my concerns, I would appreciate it if you could run a short test whenever you have a chance (assuming you are using a Quick Select command in your setup). Just turn debug on and then do a "power on" followed by a "power off" and upload the resulting debug log. Thanks! P.S. If you are able to do this, please let me know the model number of your AVR. My apologies. You are of course correct. I managed to click on two old subscriptions which happen to have only one episode showing! I have checked others and that works as you described. One of the issues we have is that each user has their own favourite programmes/bookmarks/subscriptions but you can only have one BBC Sounds account on the server plugin. This can result in a large list of subscriptions, etc. Would it be possible to have a way to filter/group subscriptions for different users/devices? I appreciate this probably is not feasible as each bookmark and subscription has to be set up on a single BBC Sounds account. I see the approach to be using LMS on Linux to test an update to AnyEvent 7.*. The AnyEvent 7.* module is easily built for Linux but changes to some LMS core modules are likely. Upgrading AnyEvent to 7.* on Linux should be feasible as I think LMS use of AnyEvent facilities is limited and this is a upgrade not a reimplementation. The main difficulty will be building for Windows - if a new AnyEvent module built then I would hope there would be no major issues as they should have been ironed out testing on Linux. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114000 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

That is not the case. Selecting a subscription (or a series from a search or any other places to see series) shows a list of all available programmes in that series in date reverse order. Also, if you have bookmarked a programme (or selected a programme any other way, e.g. from category browsing) you can select "all episodes" from the programmes menu and see all episodes in date reverse order. Subscriptions only show the latest episode for each programme. If you have missed a few episodes of a particular programme, I don't think it provides an easy way to get to a list of all episodes for that particular programme (in date reverse order) so you review and carry on from where you left off. humax99's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69035 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113045 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'm always happy to help testing and trying things, but my knowledge on building things on Linux is limited. Although I run all of my LSM and players on PCP (apart from a transporter and boom), my technical knowledge is Windows rather than Linux. psketch's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114000 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Global claim to be the largest radio group in Europe now with 25 million people listening in the UK each week, so, on the very large assumption that all of the globalplayer stations use the same approach, it would be a really nice addition, and now the HD streaming thrown into the mix. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Power Script for Windows version of Squeezelite
Currently, there are no calls in output_pa.c to run the power script, so you can't just enabe the power script build option for windows. I tried to add support for -S on windows in the past, however, the power script would only ever trigger three times and never again after that. There is an undocumented API ... but using it is tricky because it would require the use of WebSockets ... which is not supported by LMS. So I think it would mean writing some standalone stuff and then plugging it in somehow. https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?107186-Help-Implementing-websockets-in-a-plugin=995299=1#post995299 Paul Webster http://dabdig.blogspot.com author of \"now playing\" plugins covering radio france (fip etc), kcrw, supla finland, abc australia, cbc/radio-canada and rte ireland Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114000 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] GlobalPlayer (UK) Plugin - ClassicFM etc.?
Now that @expectingtofly is spoiling us with lots of great addins, I wondered if anyone had had a look at the feasibility of a plugin for GlobalPlayer. For me, this would be for ClassicFM mostly, but there are loads of stations in their stable now. The main advantage vs. a stream is they now claim to offer HD audio through their app if you sign up for an account. No idea of course if there's an API available of course, but if they're restricting it to people signed in with an account, I guess there's reason for them to want to enable as broad access as possible - more ability to profile us vs. if we just listen to a stream. psketch's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114000 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hello Philippe, You are conversing with a user, not a computer expert. I am well past my 70th birthday and certain things are beyond my everyday use. I sent you what I could retrieve from the program actually whilst it was running. As for you asking for a config file, unless you point me in the right direction, then you have little or no hope of getting one. I manage to do, what I do, on computers, but I was brought up, in a time when two golden syrup tins joined by string, was the means of contact! I've had to find my way round computers, no one has been around to point me in the right direction. Most of what is discussed in these forums goes over my head I'm afraid. I obviously want to help you, as much as I want to help myself. All I can say is that the bridge works as you would want, in an as supplied form. In other words, (my words), I have not ticked or altered anything. When I found out about the "flow" setting, in a post elsewhere, I started the flow setting and that's when the problems started. I didn't alter anything else. I didn't change the setting from none, to flac to MP3, I initially left well alone. That's when it all went wrong. And yesterday, whilst it was playing individual tracks to my HiFi, it also started playing music to an internet radio and I had not selected that radio to receive any music. I'm sorry if my basic knowledge isn't up to scratch. I try my best, but fail more often than succeed.
