As I mentioned before, this intermediate release does not actually contain support for the Quick Select command in secondary zones but there are significant changes to how other commands are processed. Assuming everything works as designed (a BIG if), the only change you might notice is that, as part of "power on" processing, you should see the volume of the AVR's Zone 2 adjusted to synchronize with the volume setting of the client app. This is the opposite of how volume synchronization works in the main zone, where the client volume is synchronized to the AVR volume, but is necessitated by the fact that the Denon network protocol doesn't permit querying the volume setting of zones other than the main one. Is the bug in the "if (musicbrainz)" logic of the refresh tracks or somewhere else in your mind? I do like the concept of using the musicbrainz_id to keep stats linked to the track if the files are moved around, but I can understand the issue if the id is not unique. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Sugarcube - Settings clarification
sugarcube has it's own "version" of adding things to the queue, listed in the player config. So if you have *PlayerConfig->DSTM->Sugarcube=enabled* at the same time that *PlayerConfig->Sugarcube->Dynamic Queueing=enabled*, then you have two things adding music to the end of the tracklist. At least that's my understanding, I haven't played with it recently though. I did a "GROUP BY" on the SELECT statement that creates the temp table and duplicate musicbrainz tags are definitely evident. I've seen some behavior as well that you are predicting. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
Touch, 2 Receivers, and 2 Radios grouped into two groups: (Touch + Receiver + radio) and (Radio + Reciever) Would they behave correctly if used independently? They're all wifi, I'm using a relatively new Netgear nighthawk, R6900v2 on a gigabit internet connection. I think there have been reports about the hardware players not play nicely with most recent WLAN variants. I don't know if I'm pushing the wifi too hard, but if I can transcode the spotify tracks down that should help I should think. If you're willing to edit a file, then go to Spotty's installation folder. Find the custom-convert.conf file and un-comment the Ogg direct transcoding rule at the bottom of the file. This should allow you to stream Ogg directly to the players with no transcoding involved. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi Michael thanks for taking the time. I'm having trouble on the following devices: Touch, 2 Receivers, and 2 Radios grouped into two groups: (Touch + Receiver + radio) and (Radio + Reciever) They're all wifi, I'm using a relatively new Netgear nighthawk, R6900v2 on a gigabit internet connection. In Squeezecenter they're reporting between 96% - 100% signal on all players. I will say that last night i ran into some issues using the groups plugin and had more luck just manually syncing. I've had nothing but problems with the groups plugin so i think i'll just disable it altogether. I don't know if I'm pushing the wifi too hard, but if I can transcode the spotify tracks down that should help I should think. I go through spurts of everything working smoothly, but sometimes I come home and the touch shows "Buffering 1%" and it keeps swapping back and forth between play and buffer. Squeezecenter is on a Ryzen 7 with 16gb ram and gigabit ehternet, so I don't think that's the issue, however I will say the spotty error I get with remote desktop still happens occasionally. I don't know if it has something to do with remote desktop's redirected audio? I get this every time i log into my desktop via RDP (about 5-6 errors in a row then it goes away): 33839 Sorry for the info dump. Is it possible Spotify changed the URLs recently but the LMS database doesn't delete the old one? On a wipe & rescan it should wipe all data from the table. Would you have the album ID? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: New versions of erlands plugins
i've talked about this in the dev area, i have solved this with adding a filesize table to the presistent dbs and modifying the query to not only compare the musicbrainz_id instead compare also the filesize the cause of this long running trackstat task, are duplicate musicbrain ids which might happen if you have multiple releases of the same album (example). My solution isn't ready for primetime, as the filesize table add is only for db creation atm, so someone has to delete persistent.db first, to make this work. current solution can be found here: https://github.com/mamema/lms-trackstat/tree/master/src modified files are dbcreate.sql and Storage.pm the current pain is solved, as the several hour run came down to 6 secs. Additionally the plugin LMS DB Optimizer does also help: https://www.nexus0.net/pub/sw/lmsdboptim/ mamema's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44662 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49483 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
