It's hidden very well, I think in a footer if I recall correctly Keep looking, and you'll find it and you can then dump GoDaddy completely in favor of people that understand being able to terminate a business relationship with someone is just as important as starting one. On that note, steer clear of 'Server Pronto'. They have very inexpensive dedicated servers, but you almost need a court order to cancel. I have to agree with Whil here... I have used them for years with over 30 domains and have yet to have a problem, and yes I have transfered several domains out of their hands - no problems. I can't suggest what to do in your case but try to communicate with them again and see. That is my experience also. Their online menus are very difficult to follow. He's doing better now and I don't want to continue to be charged for it. I offered to transfer it as-is from GoDaddy to them but they wanted to transfer it to their parking and hosting accounts. The return email from GoDaddy "tech support" was just as unhelpful as their on-line "help" was. Very frustrating... However, I was finally able to get through to them on the phone...couldn't yesterday...and after about a 5 minute wait got the (I hope) right information from a very helpful person on the telephone -- not from India -- probably from Phoenix... So, I'd give them a "C"... Their website still doesn't work, the "help" at their website inadaquate, their email tech support clueless, but their on the phone support was very good... When we went to court I got the money back, but with no interest and he made payments on it instead of giving it back in a lump sum like I would have received if it had been done at the time of escrow closing. Contrast that with NS or Register.com or a half dozen others who are clearly out to shaft you... I'm curious why you feel the need to transfer the domain elsewhere? You can lock it down for 10 years for about $50 (wait for one of their specials). Yeah, maybe somewhere else you can get the same thing for... $40, but at what cost? Yes. GoDaddy sucks horribly. Especially when transfering from them. I'm not sure exactly what you're doing, but I had to transfer a couple domains from them to my preferred registrar(namecheap.com), and they hid some authorization link and didn't tell me where it is.
