I took a closer look at the back of the radio and noticed the audio jack was a line in instead of a headphone jack. You guys are right, that one link did mention a remote, I just didn't see it. Anyway, the radios arrived today and I have no idea why there were advertised as "dented box". Both radios were brand spanking new. The boxes were not dented and the the round plastic sticker that seals the box was still sealed. Inside, both radios were in mint condition. The plastic wrap and all packaging was unopened. I saw no difference between these radios and the other new ones I'd bought. Steve, I'm running the WHS version of the SBS so I'm no sure if you are seeing the same thing I am. Is there a link in your settings that says Web Interface - Advanced Settings"? If so, click that and it will launch your web browser to a page that will let you modify settings via a web interface. Then, click in the upper left hand corner of that page where it says "Squeezebox Server" and it will load the web UI we are referring to. I own three radios (one of each color) and I love them. However, like a previous post, I don't use and don't care about the alarms and I rarely used mysb.com. My red squeezebox radio has red menus/UI on the LCD. I bought a white radio from Logitech but the UI is the blue/green menus. I feel your pain, I was experiencing connectivity problems for a while after upgrading my routers firmware. I would suggest trying everything mentioned so far and, if that all fails, get a cheap $20 router and try that. I've discovered that not all manufactures are always 100% compatible with all devices. My Sony PS3 refuses to connect to my Belkin N+ router so I finally had to get a wireless game adapter to get it online. I'm HAPPY to report that this issue is officially resolved. I came home from work, upgraded the SBS to 7.5.3 and installed the firmware on all the devices. I'm now on my 58 song in the playlist and have not had a single hiccup! Both radios are playing rock solid as are the Boom and Touch. I think I've figured it out. My router is a Belkin N+ (F5D8235-4 v1000) and last week I upgraded the firmware from 1.01.26 to 1.01.28. The reason I upgraded is the router only shows clients connected via LAN and doesn't show clients connected via WLAN. I thought the new firmware might fix this but it didn't. After remembering I'd upgraded the firmware, I pulled out my Hawking wireless extender I bought to provide better reception in the garage. I stopped using it because any change made to the router and I had to run the setup on the device all over again, it was just a pain. I setup the extender and connected the two radios to it. They both have been playing rock solid for over an hour now without dropping. It's odd how the firmware change on the router would affect only these devices. It's late now, but tomorrow I'll upgrade back to SBS 7.5.3 and hopefully the radios will play all night like they have been for the last hour+. I'll post back with the results, but I feel fairly confident the router is the issue. I'll know more tomorrow night. Thanks Gary. I rolled the server back to 7.5.2 tonight before I read your post and thought that fixed it as I finally got half an hour of solid music without having one of the radios drop. But, just as I thought it was fixed, one of the radios stopped playing *sigh*. I rolled back to 7.5.1 the same thing. My touch and boom are connected via wifi like the radios, but they never experience the problem. I had the first radio setup using a static IP before I restored the router to factory defaults. I think next test is to use the RJ45 port on one of the radios and if the issue goes away I'll try another router. The new radio arrived today. Just plugged it in and set it up on the network. Synched it with my other radio, touch and boom. On the SECOND song, the new radio stopped playing music but remained connected to the network. It almost has to have something to do with the radio firmware because the two radios have the same problem. I'm not running any processor intense plugins. As a matter of fact, shortly before I bought the slim devices I replaced the system hard drive in my media smart server and it screams now. My CPU utilization is usually around 10-13% when I'm accessing the SB library. I am running My Movies 4 pre-release which uses SQL, but since I recently rebuilt the server I haven't had a chance to reload all my titles so the library has less than 50 titles. Tonight, I uninstalled the SqueezeBox Server add-in and re-installed it hoping for the best, but that didn't do any good. It will be interesting to see how the new radio that will be here tomorrow behaves. I thought you had solved my problem usch when you mentioned the behavior occurs after a scan of your music library. A few days ago I enabled the "Auto Rescan" third party plug-in so I thought that perhaps it was kicking off and causing the radio to drop. However, I disabled the plug-in and the problem still exists. I ordered a red SB radio from Amazon last night that will be here tomorrow to see if suffers the same problem. I opened a support ticket with Logitech and they replied today and told me to try a different channel on my router. But, I live on an acreage and there are no other wireless networks in range and only the radio has problems. The radio just crashed when I changed the playlist to Rhapsody. I'll also point out that when the radio stops playing, I can still use it to control the playlist. I have a SB Touch, Boom and Radio. All 3 are only a few months old. I always play all three synched together connected to a local Squeezebox server running on a HP EX485 home server. Recently, the radio will drop from the synch stream and just stop playing. It is still connected to the network because I can use SqueezePad to turn it off and back on. When it comes back on it rejoins the synch stream and starts playing again. However, this happens every 3 or 4th song and it is really getting annoying. I've reset the radio to factory default settings and then installed the update but the problem persists. I've verified I don't have an IP conflict but am running out of ideas. Only when playing online services like Pandora or Last.FM. Anyone else see this? If I skip it will synch up but then falls behind again.
