 Hi Robert and List.

When you say vortex on the other bottle, do you mean the
plastic tube that connects the two bottles?

The vortex is the actual cyclone shaped swirl of water and that is
 what
I meant when I used the word.

To start, the water goes in the bottle with the magnets on it.
then the plastic gizmo screws on to the bottle, then the other
 bottle screws into the gizmo.

Now you have sort of an hour glass looking thing with the
magnet bottle 3/4 to 7/8 full of water on the bottom and the empty
 bottle on top.

Hold the bottom of the the empty bottle with your right hand and
 pick up
the bottom of the magnet bottle with your left hand and as you are
rotating the assembly to get the bottle of water to be on top, start
moving your left hand in a quickly paced clockwise circular motion
 as
though you were wiping up a spill on the kitchen table. By the time
 you
get the bottles upright, the water should be swirling around fast
 enough
for the vortex action to get started.

I am left-handed and it is a simple and natural motion for me
but I suspect a right-handed person will need to work at it a bit
 before
it is a comfortable thing to do.

ALSO, something you mentioned just caused me to have a (hot?)
flash. I previously had said that the magnets wanted to be
close to the neck of the bottle. Now, I see the wisdom of the
 magnets
being near the widest portion of the funnel part of the bottle. The
water is swirling around the fastest at that point and I believe
 that is
 desirable.

My magnets are a little less than 2 long (and a little less than 1
wide)and span the distance between the wide part and the neck and
 that
is why I was concerned about the magnet being
 close to the neck.

Hello CS listers-

This is completely off topic and I apologize for that but I am devastated
at the news I received today. I am asking for any help you wonderful people
might have because I do not know where else to turn.

A very dear friend of mine has a 7 year old daughter who has been diagnosed
with an inoperable brain glioma. Up until today, she has been in a research
program for a new type of chemotherapy that has worked to keep the cancer
isolated and under control. Today, they were told that she must go off of
the program because there is a high risk of Leukemia associated with the
dosage of chemo she has been receiving. The hospital and doctors will not
take responsibility for this have essentially told them that there is
nothing else they will do for her.

Unfortunately, I am not a doctor and do not know any other details
regarding the type of chemo she was receiving. I only know that thus far
it has helped keep her here with us and now her parents fear the worst.

Please, if anyone has any info at all, could you share it with me. If you
would prefer, you can email me directly at den...@perle.com.

Thank you all so much...please say a prayer for the Henry family...they
really need it.

Dana

Re: CSpower supply

1999-10-20 Thread Ivan Anderson
What voltage are you running these days Wong?

The resistor value can be calculated using R = V/I (resistance in ohms
equals the voltage divided by the current in amps. For 12 Volts and
assuming a 2mA short circuit current then a 6000 ohm (6K0) resistor
will suffice but is probably not necessary.
[ I have found in my system the load resistance (CS solution) is about
20K ohms at 12 to 15 ppm. As the load resistance is higher than the
determined limiting resistor value, the actual current does not reach
the chosen current, in fact the limiting resistor further limits the
current, in this case, to 0.46mA (12V divided sum of load and limiting
resistor) and is therefore not required] The actual current without a
limiting resistor is 0.6mA which I feel is a pretty good maximum.

For 36V in my system an 18K0 resistor will limit the short circuit
current to 2mA. In actual current terms, the current will be 0.95mA,
with a load resistance of 20K ohms.

For a 27V a 7K0 resistor will limit the actual current to 1mA and will
have a short circuit current of about 4mA.

This resistor (just a cheap 1/4 watt resistor from your local electronic
shop) is wired in series, that is, placed between one electrode and its
power source wire. You don't need to solder it, just wrap one leg around
the silver electrode and grab the other leg with the alligator clip of
your power supply lead.

CS Production

1999-10-20 Thread Gdwny
I have seen a number of responses on this list as to current limiting,
polarity switching, etc. But I have enough electrical/electronic experience
to know that there is many variables with this that needs covered. Let me
relay my limited experience with this.
I was hunting a source of silver and decided that the easiest one to obtain
for me was bullion bars in the one troy ounce size. I found these easily at
a coin dealer. I cleaned them and then using alligator clamps above the
water line, put them into some distilled water with the clamps above the
surface of the water. I used a wide mouthed pint Mason jar with the bars
opposite each other against the sides. I have a DC bench power supply that I
connected to this and set it at 27 volts. I turned the power supply on and
let this set up run for a few hours. At the end of this time, the solution
was fairly clear and one of the bars had a fair build up of a dark flaky
surface I took to be silver. I have taken this to mean that some silver was
deposited on this electrode. From my reading on this list, I have come to
the conclusion that it came from a high current flow during the process. I
reversed the polarity on the next run and the deposits came loose and dropped
into the bottom of the jar or floated to the top as thin flakes. One
question I have is if the polarity is switched every minute, what happens to
these deposits? Are they kept in solution as colloidal silver or are they
just dropped to the bottom anyway but with little build up on the electrodes?
I put a plastic lid on the jar and left the contents sit without the
electrodes in it till the next day. The color turned a rich gold by then. I
have no way to judge the PPM of this solution. But what I would like to know
is, with the greater surface area of these bars and the distance between them
being different with different set ups, can one just use the current strength
as a judgment as to the silver being put into solution over a certain time
period? And by keeping this at a lower rate, control the silver micron size
by lowering the blast off rate? I have seen where some have inserted a
resistor to limit voltage/amperage in these setups. Does this not slow down
the early formation of the solution when the resistance of the same is high?
Would not the control of the current be better as some have suggested along
with polarity switching? It would seem to me that this would give better
control under the chances of other variables like electrode size, distance
apart, solution concentration, etc. Am I correct in this reasoning? In
doing this, it would seem that changes in electrode size and other factors
could be discounted more.
Thanks for any comments that those of you with more experience can give me.
I have been buying my colloidal silver for some time and I use it to control
infections as I have a chronic lung disease. I have found that when I get an
infection that starts to limit my breathing, by putting colloidal silver in a
nebulizer setup, I can help keep these infections down and get relief
quickly. Much more quickly than with antibiotics. It has been a very
positive help for me.

CS ppm standard

1999-10-20 Thread Hutt William J (Bill) DLPC

I've read many e-mails on this forum about achieved ppm, but little on
how the parties accomplished and confirmed their results. It would be nice
to create a data base of methods in order to create a standard.
I have seen a couple of e-mails which addressed using a volt-ohm-meter
to read ppm.

Example: 4usec/cm = 1/250kohms; this measurement appears to be achieved
by placing the VOM probes in the CS solution at a spacing of 1cm.

Example2: 1ppm = 1.6usec/cm (+/- 20%); If both examples are correct then
5ppm would be equal to 5ppm X 1.6usec/cm = 8usec/cm
 8usec/cm = 1/R = 125kohms resistance between the VOM probes which are
spaced 1cm apart in the CS solution.

If we can gather data from known ppm solutions using the above method ,a
rough standard could be established and everyone would know about what
strength of CS solution they have produced.

Resistance measurements of 5ppm, 10ppm, 20ppm, and 30ppm should give a
well rounded data base.

I realize that their are many other factors to consider when trying to
measure ppm. The purpose of this e-mail is to try and establish a standard
by which everyone can use without purchasing some expensive high tech
device.

If a simple standard has already been established, what is it?

I would like to know if anyone has a recipe for making colloidal silver
salve.

 Thank you,

BillH

Greetings beautieous jewels of the CS art,

  LYMPHATICS,con`t
The composition of tissue fluid is similar to that of blood plasma. It
is a colorless or yellowish fluid possessing an alkaline reaction, a
salty taste and a faint odor. When examined under the microscope, it is
seen to consist of cells floating in a clear liquid. Lets look at the
composition of blood plasma and lymph (tissue fluid):
 Blood plasma lymph
  Specific gravity 1.051.02
  Red cellsmany a few
White cells many granulocyte count lower
lymphocyte count higher
  Blood platelets many none
Blood proteins high content low content
Waste products low content high content
  Nutrients high content low content
  clotting quickly slowly
Colloidal protein high low; gobulin absent
Water, sugar, salt are about the same concentration in both

The process of tissue fluid formation is continual. The lymph system
supplements the capillaries and veins in the return of tissue fluid to
the blood. Its composition is the consequence of the varying needs and
wastes of different tissues at different times. The loss and gain
average out and its composition is pretty constantly maintained. The
fluids in the serous, cerebrospinal, synovial cavities, the eye and ear
vary. The lymph drainage system is called the lymph vascular system.
Even with this drainage fluid may accumulate in the tissue spaces. In
the tissues we find the *closed ends* of minute lymph capillaries, which
are comparable to and often larger than the blood capillaries. The lymph
capillaries unite to form *lymphatics* , the lymphatics form into large
vessels until they converge into two large ducts; the thoracic duct and
right lymphatic duct. These ducts empty the lymph into the vein system
and return the lymph to the blood system. The lymphatic system has
valves in it ,which forces the lymph to go in one direction only. There
is no pump as such, the fluid being forced to move by the action of your
muscles and respiration (breathing). Deep breathing,as in exercise,
helps the lymph move, as well as the contraction of the muscles while
exercising. A normal body without regular exercise is a body half dead
from toxin build up and no lymphatic flow.It can not be stressed enough
how important exercise is to the body. We have evolved as active
creatures.
The lymph capillaries are a single layer of endothelial cells, having a
dentated outline. In general the lymph vessels accompany and are closely
parallel to the veins. Lynph vessels are found in every tissue and organ
that contains blood vessels. In the interior of the body they lie in the
submucous tissue throughout the whole of the length of the
gastropulmonary and genitourinary tracts. They are in the first three
layers of the mucous membrane, the epithelium, basement membrane and
stroma.Refer to part two. The lymphatics that have their orgin in the
villa and micro villa of the small intestine are called *lacteals*.
During the process of digestion they are filled with chyle, which is
white from the fat proteins in it. The lymphatics carry tissue fluid
(lymph) from the tissues to the veins. Here it becomes mixed with the
blood, enters the superior vena cava, and then the right atrium of the
heart.

  LYMPH NODES
Lymph nodes are small, oval or bean shaped bodies which are in the
lymphatic system. They vary in size from a pin head to almound size.
All lymph must pass thru at least one lymph node on its way back to the
blood. This is vital to the health of the body.
A node has a slight depression on one side called a *hilus*. The lymph
vessels enter and leave through the hilus. The node contains fibrous
bands called *trabeculae* which divide the node, dividing it into
irregular spaces, which communicate freely with each other. The
irregular spaces are occupied by a mass of lymphoid
tissue, which, however, does not fill them but leaves a narrow channel for
the passage of lymph. The lymph enters by the *afferent*
vessels, circulates through the node and leaves by the *efferent*
vessels. No lymph ever reaches the blood with passing through at least
one node.

Re: CSvortex

1999-10-20 Thread THE TROLL
Hi Folks!

I reread the article to see if I could find any clue to the
question about stirring in one container. It appears that there
is good news.

Here is a section of the article. I have emphasized parts.

-

Which of these methods will produce the maximum efficient structuring?
Lets look at the worst first. Simply putting the
water into a closed container, placing 2 magnets on either side
of the container and shaking vigorously for 1 minute will
produce a slight structuring - hardly enough to bother with.

The vortex combined with the magnetic field is the best.
Providing you remember to take into account the Zeta potential
- one of the 5 essential factors that determines a colloids
life and effectiveness. Too much of a magnetic charge can make
your structure (and its resulting colloid) almost worthless. In
between is the stirring method. Put the water into a cup or
glass and STIR IT WITH A MAGNET, SWIFTLY ENOUGH FOR A VORTEX
to form in the liquid. Stir for 30 seconds.
Let the water stand for 6 minutes at least. This produces
structuring four times better than the shaking method. REPEAT
REPEAT THE STIRRING METHOD AFTER THE FIRST SIX MINUTES AND YOU'LL MAKE
IT ALMOST AS GOOD AS THE FUNNEL METHOD, WHICH FOLLOWS.

With the funnel method you acquire a funnel that produces a
vortex of swirling of the water as it empties. Not all funnels
will do this. The swirl should be in a clockwise direction.
Attach one or two magnets to the outside of the funnel, on
opposite sides, down near the narrow end, with the positive
side and negative sides in toward the funnel. Pour the water
through the funnel (making sure of the swirling action). Let stand
at least 6 minutes and repeat. This method produces an
excellent structure, but it only works well if you're doing a
quart or more at a time.

The article also gives some clues as to how we might test to see if we
are doing anything right. I'm workin' on it.

David Bolin wrote:

 Hi Folks!

 Just a quickie.

You only need one bottle and its cap with a hole in it
for the vortex part. Instead of a matching bottle for storage, find
a bottle that has an opening just a bit
bigger than the neck and cap of the vortex bottle.

The vortex bottle neck will just fit inside the storage
bottle neck and all will work just as well.

If you don't have the tools to make a hole (3/8 or so),
you can take the cap from a spring water sports bottle.
It already has a hole (~ 1/2) in it , so if you pull the
knob up to drinking position and saw across just below the knob, you
 are almost there.

There will still be some of the tube left, but now you can see how
much more you have to saw/file/chew off to
get to where it is almost flat. These caps seem to vary in style and
shapes, so that is why I am not being very specific.
The main thing is to saw or file it to the point where going any farther
will start to open the hole wider.

So, that's it. A bottle and cap w/hole, a bottle into which
the other bottle neck will fit, and some magnets.

 Can it get any simpler??

 Time to cut Z.

 Good luck,

 David

Hi James!

The article says to have the magnets on opposite sides of the
bottle and with one magnet having it's north pole facing the
water while the other magnet has it's south pole facing the
water.

That is what I did originally. The pepper plants and the
strawberry plant seemed to love it.

Since some folks magnetize water by placing it on the south
pole of a powerful magnet to make south water and also make
north water with the north pole, I am now setting up a system
to make gallons-at-a-time SOUTH water by having all the south
pole of the magnets facing the water.

Can't wait to see the results!

1999-10-20 Thread Marshall Dudley
This is from personal experience only. I have found that CS has
difficulty when mucus is involved. I feel it is probably due to the
lack of mobility of the particles in the mucus. I have found though
that taking NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cyhsteine) which is an antioxidant and amino
acid is very effective in clearing the mucus, and then the CS can do
it's magic. I find the combination for myself and members of my family
to work very well for congestion, sinus problems and so forth.

Others here have used neubilizers, and I think they probably are good
way to go as well, but I have had no experience with them.

 Hey everyone,
well, so far the Uses of CS FAQ is not doing very well.
I have received only three stories of uses for CS. That's right, three. So
either there really aren't that many uses for cs -- or you guys think that
everyone else is sending them in and so no-one has -- or you would prefer
to
answer people's questions on an individual basis. I just thought it would
be
easier if there was a FAQ that people could refer to for the basics so
that
list time would be spent on more detailed questions and answers.
So, please, please, send me your testimonials on your personal uses of CS
and try to remember to include what amounts of what ppm cs used and for
how
 long.

 Thanks so much,
 Katarina
