I suppose if I ingested six pounds of silver over 37 weeks I'd likely
have a few silver deposits, too.

As I recall, many people commented about low blood circulation, and
even prescription drugs to improve blood flow. One of the
characteristics of dehydration is "slow blood."

H... The first reference doesn't state if it is a salt, or the
metal itself. If it is the metal, and I weigh 100 kilograms, I would
have to eat 810.3 grams a year. That's a little over 26 Troy ounces.
Yep, I can see how someone in the real world could consume 26 silver
"rounds" in a year. NOT!

As a comparison, if one were to consume 1 gallon of 20 PPM colloidal
silver, every single day, for a whole year, you would consume 0.888 of
a Troy ounce. In other words, you would have to drink over 29.25
GALLONS a day to reach that level.

For the second reference, you would have to consume nearly 8.5 gallons
of that same 20 PPM silver a DAY, and all of it would have to convert
to either chloride or nitrate.

In either case, your kidneys would be long since dead, because just
consuming that much plain water in a day will upset the
potassium/sodium balance to the point of cardiac arrest.

If for no other reason use charcoal as it will adsorb inorganics in the

The cayenne action I would not describe as irritation but just a warmth to

Re: CS not working on a leg infection

2001-06-18 Thread Stephen Hessler
Hi MarshaleeThe old standby for circulation problems and
cardiovascular rebuilding of any area is cayenne. Large doses of tincture!
Mix with a couple oz. of favorite juice and it should go down easily. Minor
discomfort in the mouth for a few minutes but necessary for the circulation
effect. I am not positive about the paste drawing the feeling back into the
feet, but I see no reason why it should not work. As far as mending the
nerves I would mix dmso with the paste (start with replacing 1 oz. per pint
of final mix and subtracting a corresponding oz. of colloidal silver) The
dmso will allow the nerves to "fire" across the damaged area and the cayenne
will effect the rebuilding. Sure hope you will be the proving of this
remedial. Sure would appreciate reply in the event of success.

Joe: Taking CS prophylactically may have certain limitations such as the
small amount of time it stays active in your system. Taking it at the
beginning of an illness may work better because the CS can attack the germs
that are present, not allowing them to multiply. And if you "hit it hard" at
the beginning, the CS is likely to eliminate them completely. Roger

Re: CS not working on a leg infection

2001-06-18 Thread A.V.R.A
Greetings Stephen...

Excellent suggestion using bentonite in the treatment. I've been
researching healing clays for many years, and I have a few questions to
pose:

What is the purpose of the charcoal in the treatment, and do you know the
origin of using charcoal?

When using cayenne pepper ( something I have not done with healing clays )
do you notice an increase in tissue irritation?

That's an extremely wise combination that you've put together there. I'd
like to remind others who are experimenting with healing clays to be
extremely cautious with additives when using bentonite and other haling
clayes. When in doubt, it is wisest not to do it!

I'd certainly be interested in discussing healing clays further ( perhaps
off-list since it's off-topic ) Stephen...

I read about the peroxide in the ear for a cold and thought it was super but
when I tried it I got so dizzy I almost threw up. If I felt a cold coming
on I would try it again, but maybe lie down with my head on the side for a
while. I think I may have a small perforation on the right side - think
that would make me feel dizzy? Left side seemed to work OK.

Please don't condemn CS because it didn't "cure" your cold. There are too
many variables and too many options open to you.

P.S. I hope you feel better soon.

Dear Marshall, I`ve had numbness since about 1994, and nothing has helped.
I`ve had massage, chiropractic adjusments to my feet, orthotics,
done exercises, and therapy, but nothing has gotten me my sensation back.
(At least it doesn`t hurt, it`s just annoying.)
The foot doctor at the BYU Health Clinic gave me a prescription for some
stuff that supposedly makes blood cells slipperier, and that is supposed to
help. (How??)
I couldn`t afford the stuff, and I was afraid to get the headaches it may

CS>Is CS Homeopathic in Nature???

2001-06-18 Thread Bill Missett
Homeopathic Metals May Cure All Manner of Ailments

June 18, 2001 11:06 AM ET

By Karen Norton

LONDON (Reuters) - Before it emerged that Britain's Queen Elizabeth
fortifies herself before speeches with a cup of arsenic and onions in water to
prevent sneezing, many people may have been unaware of the heavy metal's
medicinal benefits.

But arsenic, best known as a handy poison in tales of murder and
sleuthing, is also one of the more commonly used remedies in homeopathy.

Homeopathy, seen either as a complement or alternative to orthodox
medicine, uses metals from across the Periodic Table and a whole range of other
substances from the plant and animal kingdoms. Its basic principle is that
"like cures like" -- if a substance produces certain symptoms in a healthy
individual it can treat those same symptoms.

Homeopathic remedies, normally administered in the form of pills,
are designed to kick-start the body's immune and defense systems and improve a
patient's overall health.

THE ROOTS OF HOMEOPATHY

German scientist Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of modern homeopathy
some 200 years ago, experimented with metals with a view to rendering safe
those used in conventional medicine. At that time mercury was used to treat
syphilis but, in its crude form, unfortunately killed the patient. Hahnemann
discovered that the more diluted the amount of mercury administered the more
effective it became in treating the disease.

As homeopathy developed, it grew to include arsenicum album (white
arsenic) among some 30 polycrests -- key remedies. Patients needing this remedy
can have symptoms resembling those of arsenic poisoning. They might be anxious
that someone is trying to poison them, or take money from them. They may be
restless or suffer from nausea and vomiting.

"There is a correlation between what a substance produces in its
crude state and what it cures in its homeopathic state," said Robert Lawrence,
Technical and Training Manager at UK-based Helios Pharmacy.

Homeopaths treat the whole patient -- on the mental, physical and
emotional level. Orthodox medicine (allopathy) tends to base prescriptions on
one or two specific symptoms and use drugs to block or prevent something from
happening in the body rather than curing it.

"Homoeopathic amounts are too small to interfere with biochemical
pathways," said Dr. Steven Kayne, Consultant Pharmacist at the Glasgow
Homeopathic Hospital and Pharmaceutical Dean of the Faculty of Homeopathy.

METALS NOT TOXIC

Meanwhile, the overuse and inappropriate prescription of
conventional medicine has meant that stronger and more toxic drugs are being
used to combat super-bugs and viruses, which have become resistant to less
powerful drugs.

"There is no toxicity (in homeopathic remedies) because there is
usually very little and sometimes none of the original substance," Lawrence
said.

In homeopathy the metal is ground down into a very fine particle
state before being taken into a liquid carrier and diluted further still. Kayne
noted molecules of the medicine can be found in low potencies below 12c (where
one drop is diluted in 100 drops 12 times in a row), but none can be detected
in those above 12c due to greater dilution.

With higher potencies Kayne said it could be assumed that there was
no toxicity. With lower potencies he said: "Clinical evidence suggests there is
not a problem, but theoretically there might be."

But he pointed out that arsenicum was frequently prescribed in low
potency 6c without any adverse side-effects other than the normal aggravations,
which indicated a remedy was working. Indeed, the problem for many critics is
that homeopathic medicines can be so diluted that there is nothing identifiable
in the final dose except water.

But Lawrence said they still contained a certain essence or dynamic
of the substance. "Logically it doesn't make sense, but even modern nuclear
physics doesn't make sense," he contested. "It depends on the mental modeling
you use."

OTHER METAL REMEDIES

Metals are used quite widely in homeopathy, usually in the form of
salts, but there is no common theme among them. With some metals, as with other
substances, their so-called characteristics can manifest themselves in a
patient, according to some homeopaths.

The "remedy picture" for aurum (gold), for example, can be for
those prone to severe depression. The type may be quite acquisitive and
powerful and need to be best at whatever they do (going for gold), but also
have a low opinion of themselves.

Such patients might be trading in the stock market, Lawrence said,
and the type to jump out of the window w

Colloidal silver is very new here in Zimbabwe - some people are complete
skeptics and it still works visibly on their skin conditions - but actually
tabulating research not yet but will keep that in mind for a
uestionaire.( maybe ask what thier expectations are)
we maybe have a unique situation where by we can introduce people to it
rather than them finding it in store or on the net. Much harder to get a
tangible improvement with internal problems.

CS Co-Op

2001-06-18 Thread svr999a
Hello List,

Anyone know whether there are any co-ops devoted to making CS?

I live in Atlanta, and am exploring the possibility of forming a local co-op to
make CS.
There are three reasons:

1. To sell CS through health food stores, who are members of the co-op, for a
price around $2.50 per ounce. It presently sells for around $5.00 per ounce.

2. To make CS available at no charge to people who have a need for it but
cannot afford even the $2.50 per ounce price.

3. And last, but unfortunately not least, to make some money to help
supplement my SS income.

Please let me know if you know of one, or would like to start one in your own
local area.
It would be good if we could exchange ideas.

Steve

the web?

Thanks for the info.

I had lyme and numbness as well. After getting rid of the lyme, the feeling
eventually came back. CMO got rid of the arthritis.

Dear Stephen,
I had Lyme, and apparently it damaged the nerves in my feet. They aren`t
totally numb yet, but are getting there (paresthesia). I have no sores, the
feet look fine. I just can`t feel things as well as I used to.
Do you think the above will help me, or do you have any other suggestions
for me??

Hi List...I have discovered and used a combination of elements for
drawing out infections. One cancer on the nose. One prospective amputee to
which they had removed about 1/3 of the bottom of her foot and when I saw it
there was nothing but exposed bone, flesh, cartilage and it was reinfecting
with staph. She had no feeling in her feet for years and poor circulation.
Used 3 cups bentonite, 1 cup charcoal (best with 30% ash), 1 cup
diatomaceous earth, 1/4 cup 130,000mhu cayenne pepper and 4 quarts of silver
colloid to make this into a paste. In one week it had drawn out the
infection and now in about 2 months the wound is almost totally closed and a
good measure of feeling has returned to the area affected. Am now trying to
get them to apply the paste to the rest of the foot to see if it will draw
circulation and sensitivity back into the rest of the foot. Hope this

<< Vitamin C Capable of Damaging DNA

<< WESTPORT, CT (Reuters Health) Jun 14 - While vitamin C is a known dietary
antioxidant, it can actually induce the decomposition of lipid
hydroperoxides to DNA-mutating compounds known as genotoxins, according to a
report published in the June 15th issue of
Science..
"This may be the first truly convincing evidence that vitamin C has two
effects, one of them good and one of them bad," Dr. Blair stated. "This
may be why it has never shown any efficacy" as a cancer chemoprevention
agent, he added. "The bad effects may be cancelling out the good effects."
Science 2001;292:2083-2086.>>

Thank you for posting this. I had heard a one-line report about this
experiment on the radio the other day, and had been really eager to hear
about the details.

This really rankles me, and I'll tell you why. Vitamins do not exist in
isolation in Nature. They are a complex or conglomerate of many nutrients,
which biochemical researchers call co-factors. These co-factors include
enzymes, co-enzymes, antioxidants, trace elements, activators, and other
unknown factors that enable the vitamin to go into biochemical operation.

As I state in my upcoming book, the FDA legally defines Vitamin C as
ascorbic acid, but Vitamin C is actually a complex of different ingredients,
of which ascorbic acid is only one part-in fact, it comprises less than 5%
of the total complex. Nowhere in Nature can you find plain ascorbic acid.
The main function of naturally-occurring ascorbic acid is to preserve the
more fragile Bioflavonoids, Rutin and other components to which it is bound.
Vitamin C helps strengthen capillaries, but pure ascorbic acid by itself is
useless for the job unless combined with all the other factors of the
Vitamin C complex. Serious health researchers recognize that the
Bioflavonoids and Rutin are even more important for health than ascorbic
acid. For this reason, when people take plain ascorbic acid for various
health problems results are sometimes mixed.

I doubt very much that the experimenters used the Vitamin C complex in their
study; they probably used plain ascorbic acid. And "laboratory assays" means
that the studies were done solely with laboratory equipment rather than in
living tissues (in vivo). God forbid they should use a real live person to
test the efficacy and function of real Vitamin C complex. This would make a
huge difference in the outcome of the test.

There has been so much effort on the part of big business to control the
world that I am very suspicious now when I hear reports like the one above.
I can't help but think that the scientists conducting the study were funded
by the pharmaceutical companies to "prove" that Vitamin C isn't "effective"
in the treatment of cancer so they can push their pharmaceuticals on the
public.

Experiments like the one cited above are NOT scientific. It's known as "junk
science" to REAL scientists who truly respect the variables in nature and
know how to work with them honestly. Unfortunately, most of the public will
not know this unless they are educated otherwise. Also unfortunately, most
of the mainstream media will never report the truth because they are owned
by the same corporations that also own most of the world's scientists.
