CSCS mold, yeast and candida

2005-10-04 Thread genesis4
I've just started taking CS (30 ml in the morning). I also drink three small
glasses of non dairy kefir every day which is very easy to make at home from a
starter. It stands to reason that anyone taking CS regularly should drink
kefir or reintroduce bacteria into the gut in some way (eating fermented foods
is one way) as the CS is bound to kill other bacteria in the body along with
the pathogens. This could explain abnormal candida growth. A number of
websites have information on the benefits of eating fermented food. One is
www.mercola.com, another is www.westonaprice.org.

So I'm wondering about the effect of CS on my health in the long term.
For instance, concerning CS and avian flu, would CS be more effective in
warding off this flu if it were taken only at onset of symptoms and not every
day as a preventive measure?

Carlene

I have wondered about that too. Time kill studies shown on
www.silvermedicine.org show CS killing candida in about the same time
period as it kills bacteria, and with similar efficiency. And I never
had any trouble myself until I upped my daily intake to around a quart.
Then I did start to have some yeast overgrowth symptoms. Makes you
wonder if in a living body CS tends to be able to kill bacteria faster
than it kills the candida, thus leading to some overgrowth, maybe if
only temporarily? CS applied directly to the area experiencing the yeast
symptoms stopped them nearly immediately, for me, so I do believe CS can
and does kill the yeast just fine. Or maybe my own symptoms were from
something else. Not totally certain.

Hi Mike--
My concern is the type of metals used in these appliances as I worry
about

the chance of heavy metals getting into our kids' systems. (though I doubt
most of us parents with children having this hardware in their mouths have
much of a choice.) I haven't done much research into this, but I should,
as

my son will be getting braces in a year or so. (He has headgear and
brackets at present.) I to find out what kind of metal is used, and if it
is known to give off vapors, I would like the chance to choose an
alternative, like I did with his fillings. They look at my like I've lost
my mind, but I face that with X-ray and fluoride issues. Of course,
anything not customary and ordinary insurance companies don't like to pay
for.

Re: CSSodium Bicarb for starter

2005-10-04 Thread Marshall Dudley
Silver has a mw of 108
Silver carbonate is Ag2CO3 mw 276.
Baking Soda is NaHCO3 mw 84.

Since ppm is measured as weight vs weight, then the amount of silver vs the
amount of baking soda will be 2*108/84 of the baking soda ppm. That means that
4.5 ppm of baking soda should produce 11.6 ppm of ionic silver (15 ppm of silver
carbonate) before any significant colloid would begin forming.

healthy bacteria in the gut. MA

CS kills virtually all bacteria it comes into contact with. CS does not
affect any bacterea in a healthy gut due to being absorbed into the
blood stream in the stomach and being immobalized by the stool. It will
kill any bacteria in the gut when taken in large amounts, and if the gut
is full of liquids so it can have mobility.

debca...@aol.com wrote:

 Dear Marshall:

Is CS supposed to be crystal clear? I have been doing research and
some companies advertise it looks like a tea. Is that the correct
color of CS or is it supposed to be crystal clear?

The color's shade is a product of the particle size, the density of the
color is a product of the size and the concentration. When particles
are sufficiently small, then the absorbed spectrum is in the uv, so it
will appear clear to humans. As you increase CS concentration, then the
particle size increases. So it can be used as a crude measure of
concentration for any consistant method of manufacture. For low
concentrations, like 5 to 10 ppm, it would be best to be clear. For
higher concentrations, such as above 20 ppm, it becomes increasingly
difficult to make it clear, and a light yellow or gold is still very
good.

I really need to learn a lot more about CS. Also, I have read about
graying of the skin. I forget the technical name of it. I have also,
read, that if you take CS with too high a ppm, that is what causes the
 graying of the skin.

Argyria. No reported case of argyria has EVER been reported from taking
colloidal silver of any concentration. Argyria has been reported from
taking silver salts, such as silver nitrate and silver citrate, as well
as mild silver protein. I firmly believe that properly made colloidal
silver not only does not cause argyria, but is an actual prophylactic
against it.

Please, help me out with what is true and what is false. I really
don't trust making it myself, but there has to be a reputable company
out there that sells it. Does anyone buy their CS?

I use to sell it, but never could sell enough to make it worthwhile. I
now recommend people to make their own. Both the SG6 and silver puppy
units are reported to be very good.

Just wanted to post about a treatment I took last night.I had been in
close proxsimity to the raccoon who had I believed distemper. and in a
enclosed enviorment. Around 3 pm I began getting a clogged feeling in my
ear and a pre-smyptom in my throat. Also, I had a dull ache in my
sholders. I was feel kinds foggy like I was coming down with
flu/cold/etc. At 8pm (after sleeping for a hour) I began gargling with
collodia silver (20 ppm; approx) and then swollowing. I also took 1500
Mg l-Lysine and 2000 Mg Vit C (the good kind). I prepared my special
drink that I normally take when these symptoms began; large mug of hot
water distilled with 1 lg tablespoon honey (the good kind) and a couple
capfulls of Apple Cider Vinger (the good stuff). At 2 am I did the same
thing again. I then took 2 - 3mg Melitona and 2 muscle relaxers.

This morning only a small feeling remains of what could have been a full
blown attact.

Just in case someone may find this usefull

can help build a stronger immune system and help get rid of the Demedex

Hi Debbie. I used to buy my CS, but it's ungodly expensive. You can
purchase it at most any health food store, but it'll cost you up to thirty
dollars
for 8 oz. For the price of a gallon, you can buy the equipment to make your
own, and forevermore your CS will cost you the price of a gallon of distilled
water. Can't beat it. And you don't have to *trust yourself* making it --
it's
extremely simple. All of the units available have easy-to-read instructions,
phone numbers for help if needed, plus you have the collective knowledge of
the people on this list. As a group, we haven't found that *more is better* in
the matter of ppm's. In fact, I'd be pretty suspect of any product advertised
at 100 ppm's. I would wonder what they did to it to enhance those ppm's --
what was added in. A ppm-level of 10 to 12 is perfectly fine for most every
application. I've even heard that *less is better* -- and that 5 ppm's will do
whatever you need it to. But even up to 20 ppm's is safe and effective. I
know that this is all kind of scarey when you're first looking at it, but it
isn't scarey at all -- it's simple and a health marvel. MA
P.S. I bought my unit at www.wishgranted.com -- it's the Colloid Master.
What I like best about it is that it's automatic -- it shuts itself off, so I
don't have to hang around waiting for my CS to finish brewing.

Hi Jim. Well, I would if I could. My basic information came from the

sharing that with you if you like. I have gleaned additional information to

But I can't provide you with links or any *proof* -- sorry. Like most

good flora in the intestines that were written before tests were done by
me and others to nail down exactly what was going on. My tests have
shown that there is no such thing as good bacteria and bad bacteria, and
CS kills them all. A good bacteria in the wrong spot becomes a bad
bacteria, like eColi in the blood. You cannot even use the information

them depending on the environment.

We have a solar-powered Floatron, which has a 4-inch long 2-inch wide

It takes about three weeks before it builds up the copper content of the

It's pricey, but worth it in just a year's time. We are on our third year

Dear William--It looks like the Floatron is strictly solar powered, I have

Hi Jim. Well, I would if I could. My basic information came from the

Synergenesis struggle to comply with Federal (?) demands to not provide

pertains to this, and sharing that with you if you like. I have gleaned
additional information to that effect, over the years, from a variety of
sources on the net, but don't keep record of such. If I had time, I'd
search the net and try to produce it for you. But I can't provide you with
links or any *proof* -- sorry. Like most things pertaining to holistic
health care, you pick up a little here and a little there -- and it's
getting harder and harder to find information at all. I know that

Hi Deborah. You fill a quart jar with distilled water and *hang* the silver

that the claims that CS somehow spares good bacteria are one of the
common myths that we have long ago studied (and discussed ad nauseum,
of course!) and dismissed.

The logic is this:

There is no bacterium of any sort that CS won't kill, except a few
really strange bugs that have been discovered living in silver-rich
mineral deposits in the ground. Even those *lost* their immunity after
a few generations of culture in a normal environment. None are
pathogenic to humans, as far as we know.

That info has come out over the years from scientific publications that
people have brought to our attention.

Although the kills 650 pathogens is poorly understood and even more
poorly documented marketing hype, it still represents a general truth.

Second, laboratory tests using nutrient agar plates have been used a
number of times to demonstrate that CS does *NOT* work. The problem is
that once the agar gels, the silver is immobilized and never reaches
the bacteria. The same tests done in nutrient broth media show what you
expect: CS kills everything, fast, at surprisingly low concentrations.

More references that I couldn't cite, but clearly remember passing
through the discussion.

Finally... People have taken modest quantities of CS on a regular basis
without disrupting their flora. *AND* people have taken CS in
sufficient quantities to disrupt the flora after all, including me.
Lastly, CS has been used by people with massive diarrhea and it has
settled them down.

This was mostly anecdotal evidence from our members.

The inference from all of that is that CS kills the bugs it can get to,
and that, in a solid medium, it loses much of its effectiveness as it
loses mobility.

CS indeed can be taken in reasonable quantities without disrupting the
flora. Other people have observed this and reached the same conclusion
we have in that regard. However, what has happened is that some folks
have latched onto the wrong explanation as to *why* this is so, and so
the myth gets passed around the industry in marketing blurbs written by
people who are just repeating what they've read, but not understood.

And to answer one question you asked, I think I've heard it said by
people who've tried it, that doses on the order of a few pints were
sufficient to transit the empty intestines and control whatever bug was
causing the diarrhea.

I hope that explains the issue.

2005-10-04 Thread ransley
Trem-

I can't help but think that you are thinking about the Personal size
Ultrasonic Humidifier that is sold in Walgreen's and some catalog outfits. I
have two of them, and have bought two more for family members. It's a
handy-dandy little thing, but it does not suffice when serious nebulizing is
needed.

Here in NC, we can no longer buy a nebulizer without a prescription, but I
don't know if that's a fed thing or just a policy of the drug store chains.
We can still buy them on the 'net; my mother just did.

In view of this perceived crackdown(?) I have just ordered and rec'd a cheap
airbrush kit from Harbor Freight. When I get it rigged and running I'll post
what I think about it here, since I've had lots of experience with a
nebulizer.

BTW, re: my mother--- Both she and her husband have recently been diligent
in the use of CS MSM in a nebulizer and the humidifier. They sold their
house, started building a new one, and moved into an old house in the
interim. They both caught colds, then became very sick with bronchitis and
walking pneumonia. They have been unable to completely recover no matter
what they did, including using the prescribed nebulizer meds and inhalers
from the doctor.

Mom finally realized the old house is moldy and is keeping her sick. This
may explain why some people have continuing problems. You can't get well if
you're breathing in mold every day.

It will soon be fall here; the humidity will diminish and hopefully the
house will dry out. The new house is about 2 months from occupation.

I have no idea. We are in uncharted waters for me. Perhaps some of the
wiser minds out there can respond.

Can we really do this? I have a SilverGen and I have heard alot of good
things about colloidal copper. Would it be safe to drink, making it the
same way we make CS? Could I use the ppm meter the same way? And what
ppm

would be recommended?

Thanks
Theresa

No, I don't, but I'd bet you could substitute copper wire for silver wire
and produce colloidal copper instead of colloidal silver with a standard
CS

unit.

Dear William--It looks like the Floatron is strictly solar powered, I
have

sent them an email questioning this. I'd like to find something to
suggest for my health club with indoor pool and jaccuzis. The
chlorine/chemicals reek so badly I won't even get in. Do you know of
anything that operates off another energy source?

Thanks,
Deborah

Re: CSCS for my dogs

2005-10-04 Thread bbanever
Debbie,

It's best to make your own EIS at around 10ppm. If you need to purchase
it the best silver by far is Sovereign Silver. They make a silver hydrosol
10ppm that is very well made with little to no agglomeration of the particles.
It is 90% ionic, same as when you make it yourself. Health food stores carry
this brand but they have a web site as well. Don't let anyone fool you...
ionic is best because the ions are + charged... they are attracted to - charged
single celled organisms like bacteria, virus, and some fungus. Silver must
contact the offending organism in order to kill it, the smaller the particle
size the better.

Good luck.

  To All:

A friend of mine told me about CS for my dogs. She also told me about this
site. I found a website that claims to sell 100ppm CS. She said it might be
bogus, and to try asking here at this CS forum. I am just learning about CS,
and I want to get as much information as possible before I start using it or
ordering it.

Can someone give me a reputable place to order CS from. I would order 32oz.
at a time. Maybe a gallon, because there is no expiration date. Thanks for the
help and the information.

Connie,

That sounds great but I don't believe humans get distemper... at
least not from raccoons. My wife is another matter...!

Just in case someone may find this usefull

connie

Re: CSQuestion about CS

2005-10-04 Thread bbanever
Debbie,

Yes the best CS is clear... the more yellow the color the larger the
particles and the greater the agglomeration you want small particles that
don't stick together... 10ppm is more than adequate to kill any pathogen. You
don't need 100 - 1000 ppm for anything... in fact it isn't true CS if it is of
that concentration... it is most likely a mild silver protein being sold as CS.

  Dear Marshall:

Is CS supposed to be crystal clear? I have been doing research and some
companies advertise it looks like a tea. Is that the correct color of CS or is
it supposed to be crystal clear? I really need to learn a lot more about CS.
Also, I have read about graying of the skin. I forget the technical name of it.
I have also, read, that if you take CS with too high a ppm, that is what causes
the graying of the skin. Please, help me out with what is true and what is
false. I really don't trust making it myself, but there has to be a reputable
company out there that sells it. Does anyone buy their CS?

  Thanks,
  Debbie

Wondering why our low-voltage DC devices work with silver and possibly
other metals, and knowing they don't with gold, what determines the
dividing line?
