Hi Brooks,

Could you please be kind enough to tell me what CMO is?

I have a dear friend who could use some help with his knees too. :-)

Kindest regards,

Ernie

challenged/unstable that it regularly slipped out of joint and "locked out" on
average of 3 to 4 times daily. The displacement was so sudden and complete
that...if standingI collapsed and only received relieve when another person
rotated and pulled on the foot of my afflicted
leg. The other knee was physically stable, but was exhibiting pronounced
swelling (continually) with
the concomitant pain which frequently accompanies this type swelling. After
months of investigations...all resulting in no measurable positive effect
our staff instituted a search for alternative and/or unorthodox protocols which
might prove useful. Quite serendipitously, our staff came on to the CMO
research which had been conducted by an American chemist working for a Swiss
firm that was doing basic research on arthritic insults. We were quite
fascinated at the claims (and the theoretical explanations) for the use of CMO
in addressing all forms of degenerative arthritis. Without going in to the
extended detailsthe basic conclusion was reached (after several years of
detailed evaluations) that a majority of degenerative arthritic conditions
share a common cause. to wit: the T-Cells in the synovial fluid of the
articulating joints lose their ability (usually starting around age 55) the
distinguish between healthy, live, tissue.and dead, necrotic tissueand
these
abnormally-responding T-cells begin to attack the living tissue within the
joint capsule. These attacks can, in many cases, be inflicted on both
cartilaginous and ligamentous tissue. These T-cells are, literally, consuming
the exposed layers of living tissue. CMO does not chemically attack the errant
T-cellsit merely effects a condition which TURNS THEM OFF. This allows the
body's normal immune/reconstruction system to begin restoring the challenged
joint.
I, and an 82 year old colleague were the willing guinea pigs. After
extended consultation we decided upon a protocol based upon the following:
Six capsules of animal-derived CMO daily (in conjunction with a low fat/meat
diet), ingested at three equally space intervals during the day. 2000
milligrams of glucosamine sulphate and 1200 milligrams of Chrondroitin
dailyplus 10 grams of MSM (MSM, at this time was quite difficult to obtain
in quantity commercially)daily. Improvement in all general parameters, except
the lateral instability of my right knee.began to present within about 15
to 20 days. Marked, noticeable improvement began to occur at the 3oth day.
Exponential improvement began to present around the 45th day and within 120
days of initiating the protocol, very noticeable stability began to demonstrate
in my unstable right knee joint (slipping out of joint was down to once every
two days). At 180 days my knee was slipping out of joint ONLY under unusual
strains.and then only every two or three weeks. At present, 12 years
later, the joint will slip out about ONCE A YEAR. This, I feel, is quite
remarkable.especially for a 78 year old man.
I cannot stress too strongly, the wonderful effects we achieved in our
personalized research in this matter. The swelling in my left knee reduced
immediately, but we feel powerful assistance came from the effects of utilizing
a thigh-high, surgical=strength compression stocking during the day.
Sufficient improvement was achieved to mitigate against even prolotherapy. I
have varicosities in both lower legs, but compression stockings have aided the
vein valves immensely.and at present I am not presenting ANY visible lower
extremityincluding feetswelling. I admit my case is one where the
varicosity insult is restricted to outermost large veins. I am quite slender
at 6' 2" inches and 180 lbs. and this is most probably a favorable factor in my
case.
At present, when I take my stockings off at nightthe hollows below
my ankle joints are as deep and clear as when I was a competing Division I
collegiate athlete 60 years ago.however, I must admit my moves are just a
bit slower. :>)
Please forgive this extensive commentary, but I have very visceral
feelings about our experiences during this personal experimental research. I
truly believe you would be well served to investigate such an approach in your
own experimental research.
  Sincerely, Brooks Bradley. Harborne Research
Foundation.
p.s. One of the great beauties of the CMO protocol is that in about 85% of the
historical cases,
no repeat

CS>silver protein ,selenium and vitamin e

2006-02-28 Thread Betsy Coffey
Soloray brand sells a combination vitamin E and
selenium together that you might try. I think for a
case of argyria that I would try the supplements over
the food right now.
I was wondering if anyone could answer this question.
There is a product made by a reputable company that
combines msm and silver protein. It is for topical use
but it says to rub on gums for dental infections. They
recommend using it four times daily. I cant find the
amount of silver protein used but if one was not
ingesting any silver besides this, would it be a
caution to use this short term to see if it reaps
benefits? I know that the general consenus is not to
use the silver protein. I have several friends who
take silver protein under the advice of a health care
practioner and havent had any problems yet.
I cannot tolerate dmso and continute to have to resort
to antibiotics for osteomylities. So far I havent had
any luck with the silver I am using. Thanks for any
advice. I would really like to try this product but am
a bit cautious after seeing these recent threads .

Electrolytically Isolated Silver. It is what most of the people on this
list are making and/or buying. It is typically 10% colloidal
(crystaline particles suspended in water) silver and 90% ionic silver
(silver hydroxide and silver oxide).

See http://silver-lightning.com/theory.html#Def for definitions.

CS>Stainless steel cookware-nickel allergy update

2006-02-28 Thread sol
Ok this isn't about CS, but some months back I posted about wanting to
change from SS cookware to aluminum.
I was able to find anodized aluminum cookware and made the switch in
about mid Dec of 05. I changed everything, even stopping using an SS
teakettle for boiling water.
Allergy responses can be difficult to impossible to track, and I have
other allergies besides nickel, but over the months the number of eczema
startups I've had has reduced to the point where I am taking less than
half the antihistamines, no longer have to take the H2 blockers, and
have not had to use cortisone ointments, etc.
I still hesitate to state that this must prove I was getting enough
nickel leached into food cooked in SS to keep me constantly reactive
(could be due to other things I haven't even considered or noticed)
butthe change is quite dramatic.

RE: CS>[List Owner] Investment spam posts?

2006-02-28 Thread Jim Wright (Lists)
I haven't had a spam in years. The reason is that I use
http://www.mailshell.com
One can use their "Pro" service which is what I have. A domain name
is obtained which allows an unlimited number of email addresses to be
utilized. No website is necessary and I don't have one. Anyway, when
I need an email address for a specific purpose, for example when I
get a new piece of software from a new company I create a new address
for that company (i.e.: newcomp...@mydomainname.com...) to obtain
mailings announcing improvements, etc. Then if I suddenly begin to
get spam addressed to that address I know that it has either been
"mined" from their website (by use of a spider program), or worse, my
address has been sold to spammers (something most legitimate
companies avoid doing). All I have to do to avoid further spam is to
kill the offending address and poof...no more spam. Presently I have
eighty five addresses using that method and have no problem
whatsoever with spam.

I am not sure what the yearly charge is for this service (it is
nominal considering the benefits), but I know that for me the spam
problem doesn't exist any more. Of course I do have about six levels
of security on my PC including anti-virus, anti-worm, anti-malware
and so forth. It behooves one to also be aware of opening email
attachments and the consequences involved in doing so.

The method described above is just another one available in the
ongoing struggle against the constant irritation of spam.

Every time I change my email address, spam goes to nearly zero then
gradually builds up for the next few years.
It's possible you have as much spam as you do because many of your
friends
use Outlook??

Another way is to use an old slow [way cheap]computer with it's own
email
address for nothing but personal email..same monitor and stuff can be
used
with a switch.
Don't use common people names or names of things and a number in an
email
address because address generator programs do that first and second.

Nancy's duck's healing was amazing. That reminds me of my pet rat. She'd had
a large mamary tumor removed and chewed her stitches out. She had over an
inch of cut skin hanging open; I could see her internal organs. The vet had
me bring her back in to be restitched. After she woke up, she chewed those
stitches out too. He said just leave the hole open. It totally healed up
with no problem and I didn't even put anything on it since she'd just lick it
off. Sure wish I'd known about colloidal silver a couple years ago, at least
I wouldn't have worried quite so much about infection.

Re: CS>[List Owner] Investment spam posts?

2006-02-28 Thread Ode Coyote

Every time I change my email address, spam goes to nearly zero then
gradually builds up for the next few years.
It's possible you have as much spam as you do because many of your friends
use Outlook??

Another way is to use an old slow [way cheap]computer with it's own email
address for nothing but personal email..same monitor and stuff can be used
with a switch.
Don't use common people names or names of things and a number in an email
address because address generator programs do that first and second.

good spam buster. The server has spam assissian on it, but even at 90%
effectiveness I still get over 1,000 through it over a weekend. It seems
that every time I look for a good spam program they tell me I have to
switch to outlook for my mail client, but there is no way I am trading spam

Any suggestions?

Re: CS>Dumb Question

2006-02-28 Thread M. G. Devour
> Could someone tell me what EIS is please? I need educating!!.

Dear Frances,

It's a locally coined term that stands for Electrically Isolated
Silver. Basically it describes the simple "colloidal silver" that is
produced by electrolysis of silver in pure water.

The term "colloidal silver" (CS) has been applied to so many different
kinds of preparations that it is impossible to know exactly what it
means. Suspensions or complexes of silver in protien bases, solutions
of silver salts, suspensions of particles made by chemical
precipitation, and several other classes of products have all been
labeled "CS" by the industry. The "EIS" moniker tries to distinguish
what we like to make from the others.

It's not a universally accepted definition. In fact, you won't see it
much of anyplace but here, though I think there is some effort to
promote it to the rest of the world.

Which one of you folks originally proposed the term? Have we had much
success in popularizing it outside the list?

Be well,

Mike D.
