Re: CS>Re: >Still OT Cholesterol/ Dr. Huggins/Ruth/Edgar Cayce

2007-03-25 Thread Rowena
A good read on this sort of thing, which goes with what and why, though
nothing to do with Cayce, just food, is the book on the "Fit for Life" diet.
I felt really good when I ate this way.
Rowena

Fruit in the mornings - cleansing and vitamins
Either meat OR carbs eg bread, not both together
Meat and veg OK.
Bread and veg OK.

Fresh juice great, but processing/preserving fruit juice eg with heat
changes it in a negative way.

In studying with a group on the Edgar Cayce teachings a few years ago...we
read that he suggested that fruit and also fruit juices be taken seperately
from any food.
Wait at least 1/2 hour after ingesting the fruit/juice before the meal.
He said that the body needs one type of Enzime to digest carbs one kind to
digest Protein and yet another to digest fruits.

I hope I have this right...but this is the rule I have followed ever since
reading about it. V.

2007-03-25 Thread Pat
Somewhere in the last few days I read about some stevia which is not the
extracted form and they said it's organic. I can't remember where I saw it and
can't find it. Does anyone know what brand this was?

Hahaha, HFS = health food store. I have such a problem figuring out all these
letters that I usually google them and get an internet slang page. Don't think
you'd find this one though.

Well, I had to wait to get diagnosed by a doctor, and he prescribed
Diflucan, which he says is like a magic pill for fungus and candida,
and is very well tolerated with few side effects.

Now that I have more faith in myself and my abilities to treat myself,
I would look other natural antifungals. I am using my homebrew
colloidal silver for that reason. I have heard of others, like wild
oregano oil which appears to do the same thing. The point being how can
we get well if we are infected systemically with fungus infections? My
private theory (well I guess not any more) is that as the fungus gets
more extensive it puts out chemicals or compounds that supress our
immune system which allows it to spread farther and faster. I have
heard from some sufferers that they have had fungus identified in
tissues that had to be taken out surgically, in many different areas of
the body, including the organs, such as lungs, uterus, colon, sinuses
and even the brain. I can't think of another explanation, and many
biological systems work in that way. The biology of the whole thing
gets very wierd, IMHO.

I don't know what the HFS is.

Yes...I have been leary of asking all the questions I want/need to .
I respect what Mike says about off topic so I just don't ask...which makes me

So ...Mike...I respectfully second Jeanine's request.
However, if you feel this list should focus on the CS issues as its major

I would copy this out to show my Dr. if I thought it would do any good:(

Let me give you an example that I figured out on my own over 10 years ago
and partially led me to this list. I am a severe celiac person, (gluten
intolerance) and had a full blown bowel obstruction that lasted for almost
18 months - passing somewhat but still alive but could only eat lettuce and
some fruit the entire time. I almost died and Emory Hosp in Atlanta
basically wanted to cut me from shoulder to groin more than once and I
wouldn't let them. Do you know what the culprit was?
The calcium channel blocker high blood pressure drug I was on.
*Since last May...I have been on Calcium Channel Blockers...and 3
other types of meds to try and lower my blood pressure.
Not one of them lowered the pressure by much but each one gave me
additional problems.
I had a bad reaction to the last med...I think it was the Calcium Channel
Blocker..and the dr. said...stop the med and switch to something else.
I had had enough..like yourself..and I stopped and stayed off.
While on the meds...I had to stop taking everything but my C's..everything
else compounded my problem...racing heart blah blah.
