OT

Disagree all you want but facts are facts.

I know nothing about the UK but I am speaking about the big picture not your
animals.

Here we do have this problem as I said before, taking off shoes, where pets
roam, playing in sand, that has not been covered, etc. Even in homes, many
people do not de-worm their pets and the problem keeps getting worse-

It is really simple, when you worm a pet and let it out to do its duty, do
not let the children or yourself go without shoes on, cover the sand box

DO NOT RESPOND!!ENOUGH SAID ABOUT THIS SUBJECT.

Mary..

CS>Worms

2007-07-15 Thread Dee
This is from a BBC Health Newsletter and explains how worms are transmitted,
and as I said simple hygiene is the answer. Dee

Causes

Threadworms are usually passed on by poor hygiene. Children easily pick up
threadworms from each other through contact with skin or objects
contaminated with the eggs of worms. These enter the mouth and grow into
adult worms in the gut.

Who's affected?

Threadworms are particularly common among younger children who play closely
together. Poor hygiene, particularly not washing hands after using the
toilet, is a major factor in the spread of infection. Exposure to cat and
dog faeces can cause toxocara worm infections. Pregnant women and children
should steer clear of litter trays and always wash their hands after contact
with pets.

Symptoms

The main symptom of threadworms is itching around the anus or vulva

The main symptom of threadworms is itching around the anus or vulva. This is
worse at night when the worms come to the skin surface to lay eggs. The
worms may also be seen on faeces.

If he is using it without diluting it, he needs to dilute it to between 50-70%
concentration.Pure(usually99.85%) DMSO is pretty hard to keep on your skin due
to burning and itching. Dr. Jacobs sees no value in using it at a
concentration

greater than 70%. When I buy it in pints(473mL) I pour 150mL into another
container and refill the pint container with de-ionized water. You could just
eyeball it and pour out 1/3 or soand refill it with distilled water or some
kind of pure water. I would avoid city water because of the chlorine added to
it. I've never tried aloe vera, it might work pretty good too.
Hope this helps,

Gerard

You're using too strong a concentration.
Cut it to 50% or even less with water.
It doesn't need to be strong to work, even 10% can be effective.

Cholacol 2425 Standard Process, Inc. I believe that this is a reputable
place to purchase alternative treatments. It is a proprietary blend 721
Mg. Collinsonia (root) and purified bovine bile salts. I am concerned
about using it because it does contain .2mg iron. I usually avoid iron
supplements like the plague. I know this is a tiny amount, but still, it
makes me uneasy. Other ingredients are honey and calcium stearate.

I don't think the amount of iron is anything to worry about, and yes, this
should be a decent brand although I've never used it.

Today my bowel action is stuck fast again and I am getting uncomfortable.
Trouble is that intestinal gas tends to cause material to back up into

Does anyone have a recipe or procedure that will get rid of these? I think
spraying with CS will probably just keep the surface clean but not kill the
root.

Re: CS>sleep apnea

2007-07-15 Thread Carl Deb Charter
Hi Ann:

I'm not sure what kind of information you are looking for, but sleep apnea is a
very serious medical condition. It is very hard on your heart, not to mention
the serious side effects of sleep deprivation. I'm not sure if the person that
has sleep apnea has done a sleep monitored test, but that is the first step.

If the person is overweight, especially around the middle, lose the weight!!
Probably the easiest, most inexpensive way to take care of it. Although, I
have known people that are not overweight, are actually in excellent physical
condition and still have the problem.

Usually, the will put you on a C-Pap device that forces air into your airways
and wear it at night, every night for the rest of your life, which seems to
take care of the problem for a lot of people.

Or you can have surgery, which my husband had to have because of the size of
his head and he's a mouth breather and a teeth grinder, the C-Pap mask was
digging into the bridge of his nose cause a major sore.

I won't kid you, the surgery is extremely painful. He had his tonsils removed,
which probably should have been done long ago, because I think his were
infected. Sometime people have their adenoids removed as well. The most
painful part was the shortening up of his palette and the removing of his
uvula. He is still adjusting to swallowing. He said he'd do it again if he had
to.

I do know they are coming up with new techniques and surgical procedures
everyday and are less invasive. Check with an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor.

Hopes this helps.

CS>Question - Liquid Oxygen Supplements

2007-07-15 Thread craehow...@juno.com
The other day I though... if we need to process more oxygen why don't we just
freeze some liquid oxygen and take them as pills. We talk about Homozon and
how it gets more oxygen into the colon so couldn't we do that plus more with
these pills. So I decided to google liquid oxygen and see what happened.
Behold they do have these... here is one of the sites I found
http://www.allholistichealth.com/site/523202/product/1002
I was wondering if anyone has tried these supplements or something along the
same line. Most of the process is above my level. I'll probably try them next
month but would be nice if someone has any info on these.

Hi Chuck, Thanks for the Homozon information, This is definitely a better
price than was quoted on the first place I tried. However that outfit had
Homozon in a capsule form called Mag 07. With this form you do not need to
follow it with the lemon juice. Lemon juice and the other citrus fruits
makes my upper ribcage spot angry. Will have to further evalute these
things. All the information I can get is a help. Ruth

Thanks for the comments and the links.

I have being tested homeopatic products for some time only to se how they

Yes, I liked the concept of cell Salt.
The product seems to be in line with my ideas and studies relating to blood
electrolytes. It will enhance and correct some blood electrolyte problems
it appears. I would call it "Blood Salts" but since it takes another
route, I would think it still ends up in the blood to travel to the cells.

I did look at all the products and read the ingredients in most of them.

I have formulated things that work and some work within seconds.
Guess I made some Homeopathic stuff and did not know it.

My problem is ( if you consider it a problem ) until I understand something
a bit, I don't have much confidence in it.

Seems the definition is a bit broad and unlimited.

I will say, I guess I was wrong about Homeopathic. After one or two not so
favorable experiences my doubt and suspicions were alert.

Of course they always are about nearly everything.

I have a few more comments and questions about the Cell Salt I will mention
later. Actually I have thought about making a similar product.
