This is per my own research your mileage may vary. I find shining 660 LEEDS a
few inches from my eyes for 2 seconds on 2 seconds off for a few minutes daily
actually improves my clarity and visual acuity. It is a bank of 36 LEEDS made
by V or www.theledman.net .

2008-04-24 Thread Silvia Messmer
While it may get rid of bacteria, fungus and yeast it will not dry the area,
it will still be moist. If you saturate the area for a few minutes with
your CS you will also want to dry the area afterwards. Constanly damp skin
is usually not healthy skin. If there is an off odor to the damp area there
are things growing there you don't want. Why is it constantly moist there?
Is his nose leather touching the fur where the fold is?

Good news is your CS will not hurt his eyes.

You might want to join a breed specific group, search Yahoogroups to find
one, and see if they have solutions for keeping a Japanese Chin's skin folds
dry. I'm sure they would have suggestions that I can't think of.

LOCALIZED NOVACAINE = CS>daughters infected wisdom tooth

2008-04-24 Thread Treblclef2

I had several teeth pulled by an oral surgeon in his office using local
anesthetics (high-potent novacaine) and this was a wonderful experience because
 I
had NO recovery from being put under, not to mention the expense of a surgery
procedure in a hospital, surgery room, recovery room, doctor
assistants/nurses, and anesthesiologist.
All extractions were done right in the oral surgeons office. I had 3
teeth done at a time and from beginning to end only took 1 hour, including the
time it took for the special novacaine to take hold. The costs for 3 at a
time were minimal ($600) compared being put under in a setting where an
anesthesiologist would have needed to be there.
Plus an oral surgeon does this all day long and has special extraction
tools to make the pulling easier which resulted in fast recovery because
there is less tissue and nerve damages.
Most oral surgeons have financing available, unlike many dentists.

2008-04-24 Thread Sharlene Miyamura
For sore throat, I'd explore additional ways to use CS. Definitely use
several drops into each ear, one ear at a time, leaning your head to one
side for 5-10 minutes, then do the other ear. Also using a nasal spray of
CS into the nose. Many times we forget that the origins of the pathogen's
entry may be elsewhere. I've had much success using the CS in these ways
too.

Hi Connie,

If you catch the sore throat early enough then you may be succesful with one or
two
applications. Trouble is that the throat area is richly endowed with mucous and
the strep etc
hides in the slime. CS has difficulty penetrating that. I have had several

I would guess that adding DMSO to CS would do similar slime penetration and
possibly be
even more effective that the salt water.

OK,

Georgia,

Several things are going on here. One, your daughter
is young and really doesn't have a lot of experience
with caring for herself. Probably is use to Mom
caring for her, plus the young often think there are
indispensable. But when infection comes, so does pain
and fever making it very hard to make a good decision.
At the same time, everybody has the desire to survive
and will do whatever it takes.

So when does one decide to do the alternative vrs. the
antibiotic. For one thing, it often takes a lot of
vigilance with alternative methods. They work, but
sometimes takes longer and round the clock
application. IF THE INFECTION IS SPREADING FASTER
THAN THE PERSON CAN ADDRESS IT WITH OTHER METHODS,
then an antibiotic is the better route, imo.

Your daughter has a serious condition. It can get
very serious. As I mentioned on another list, if the
infection is in the lower jaw, it can spread to the
throat causing the windpipe to swell leading to death.
If in the upper jaw, it can go into the sinuses and
brain. You already mentioned a cyst from it. It can
cause jaw bone loss. This is serious and I believe
your daughter knows that. I would trust your daughter
in her desire to have the antibiotic. It is the
infection that is the enemy, not the drug.

The problem with wisdom teeth is that there is usually
not enough room for them. That plus people usually
don't clean as thoroughly as they should which then
leads to bacteria causing infection. If your children
will brush and floss deligantly, then they can prevent
future problems even with the crowding. However, most
aren't as thorough as they should be, especially the
very young.

The dentist is also not the enemy. He is simply
giving you his advice based on his years of experience
seeing what comes into his office. Like I said, most
just don't brush/floss as thoroughly as they should
and that is where the problem starts.

Please keep us informed on your daughter's condition.

Sincerely,

Gail

Re: CS>daughters infected wisdom tooth

2008-04-24 Thread Tony Moody
Hi G,

In desperation i applied one of the silver rods from my silver maker direct to
tooh and while
holding the other rod. For a few seconds (less than 1/2 a minute) and then
swopped
electrodes. It was virtually instant relief which didn't last long, an hour
maybe. Repeat
applications improved the response til by end of day it was fixed and the
swelling started
going down leaving a hollow in the flesh at base of tooth.

It stings for a moment and rapidly goes just sore, less than before.

I use a device driven by 9v battery and it has current control to 1 milliAmp.

Best of luck to you and yours,

OK,
Tony

She is getting the antibiotic prescription but to treat the tooth itself with
Cs/DMSO how much of 70%DMSO should be diluted with CS? I will be with her in
a week and have the 70%. She can't find it up there and is in so much pain she
has no energy to search around. If all she has is straight CS will that do
locally? or would 2 drops of Oregano oil be better. I'm telling her to take
probioitcs too when taking the antibiotics for the first time in her life but
she
is discrediting anything I'm saying right now because nothings worked. The
extraction is scheduled in 2 weeks when she's home so it's crucial to rid the
infection and keep the are clean. I called her dentist for the prescription and
he said I told you so. He believes everyone should have wisdom teeth removed
because we are not like the caveman anymore.I have 4 kids with wisdom teeth and
more coming up. They all have some crowding but I can't afford $16,000 on
removing 16 wisdoms. He says these problems will come up again but I feel we
need
to deal with a problem when it happens instead. Just trying to do my best.
Thanks. Georgia

That is probably also a very effective tool, and lighter to post!  I have read that the light is effective right through to bone, and I think it penetrates bone, though it depends what kind you buy; some are fairly shallow penetrating just for skin, others go in for up to eight inches..

Part of the problem with substances is getting them to the infected site when it is so deep. They can kill germs where they happen to touch them, and likely lessen the overall body load.

But electricity and the light can penetrate immediately and get right deep down to the source.

My understanding is that you simply should not look at the lights.  If you need to find out if they are working, you can look on a closed circuit television.  I shine it on my hand, though, and that is enough to show how strong the light is, whether the batteries have run out, whatever.  Part of my reading was to say that there was temporary damage from looking briefly at the light, but that it improved without permanent damage.  However, I don't know about looking at it longer.  I would have thought it rather irresponsible to show that being done without eye protection.  But what do I know, except what I read on the internet?

On the other hand,

http://www.consumerhealth.org/articles/display.cfm?ID=2102232338

says:  So basically, the use of light-emitting diodes eliminated the draw back of lasers, and light could be applied into such sensitive areas as the eyes and around the face.

And
Initially, single frequency light penetrated approximately an inch and a half, but today, larger un
its can penetrate up to eight inches. It will go through the skull. We use it on strokes, concussions and internal problems in the brain. Excellent studies have been done using light for pain relief, degenerative osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel tendonitis, skin ailments, acne, psoriasis, healing of the sinus cells, throat and ear problems, whiplash and lower back problems.

PENETRATING THROUGH THE BLOOD STREAM You can even get light into the blood stream. One of the best ways is through your belly button, because the aorta artery is behind the belly button. So if you insert the light there for 20 minutes, every drop of blood in the body will pass in front of the light, increasing the activity of your white cells, red cells, B-cells and T-cells, so you can boost your whole immune system.

LED technology is used by vets on animals, so it  must work.

What is Light Emitting Diode Therapy?
Light Emitting Diode Therapy, commonly known as LEDT, is a form of phototherapy which involves the application of low power monochromatic and non-coherent light to injuries and lesions to stimulate healing.
LEDT is used to increase the speed, quality and tensile strength of tissue repair, resolve inflammation, and give pain relief. The technical term often used to describe this form of therapy is photobiomodulation.
LEDT is distinct from LLLT, in that LEDs do not produce coherent light waves. However, many practitioners believe that the effects of LEDT are similar, and some research has indicated this to be the case.
LEDs have a number of significant benefits over lasers in some respects. LEDs are a good deal cheaper than laser diodes, thus making them ideal for use in cluster probes, and are inherently more robust so they can withstand rougher treatment. This is why NASA has chosen to use LEDT.

I'm sure Jim Humble said that MMS is *not* effective on tooth abscesses.
Don't torture her with MMS...

I would use:

1 part of your DMSO to 9 parts CS or
2 parts DMSO to 8 parts CS.

Personally, I would take the antibiotics while doing the CS/DMSO, 6V
zapper, or oil of oregano.

To be honest, I think it would be quicker for you to find a 6v battery and
attach a couple of lengths of wire from an old appliance. You only need to
screw or hook one end to the battery, and wrap a bit of rag around the other
end. You can tie a bit of cotton thread around to keep it together. Then
dampen it to let the current through.
