Re: CS>Thyroid help???

2010-08-10 Thread healthlist

Hi Marsha,

Long time since I've posted. I have just gone through two surgeries
and RAI ablation on my thyroid. it was cancer, however. I suggest you
find a holistic dr. to check thyroid levels, as the reg docs only want
to use synthroid hormones and not the natural ones, which is not as good
IMHO! I have used iodine too but quit when the drs scared me into the
surgeries. I tell you the big C word really does scare the crap out of
you. They now tell me there is nothing wrong with me ... but never any
guarantee. It will always be haunting me. I will start using the
iodine again in a few months after my next WBS as it interferes with the
results.

The thyroid will absorb as much iodine as it can but bromine and chorine
will replace it and block it if you give it a chance. Gatorade and
Mountain dew are heavily doused with brominated vegetable oil and it
blocks the iodines uptake. I think that is what may have caused my
cancer as i used gatorade quite heavily not no more!!!

Oops, I meant to say nodules.
I too have cysts on my head and elsewhere, they are sebaceous
cysts, nonmalignant globs of skin oils called sebum, which over
time had built up and formed a bump because the follicle didn`t
have an opening to the outside to let the sebum out. Easily
removed. It`s a hereditary thing, my dad and my youngest son both
had/have them.
I did have a scan and a needle biopsy on my nodules. No cancer,
so far...
Last night I ordered in an iodine preparation from the Global
Healing Center (on the Internet) where I get my Calcium/Magnesium
Orotate from, I hope that might help. I haven`t gotten the results
back from my bloodwork yet, I hope to find out if my thyroid is
working well or not.
Anyone else have nodules or other thyroid experiences?

What do you call a 'thyroid cyst'?

The reason I ask is cos one of my daughters had a small

her head {the 'fontinel' spot I spose one could say} and
just want to know if it's the same thing, if not, then I

Of course I remember you:)

But, Marshalee is the one with the thyroid issue:)  I am certain she
can use the information.

I had hypothyroid, but resolved that a couple of years ago, by taking
Iodoral at 75mg/day.  I now take one 12.5mg Iodoral tablet a day for
maintenance.

Thanks for the input.

TTP is
Thrombocytopenia is a deficiency of platelets (thrombocytes).

a.. Thrombocytopenia occurs when the bone marrow makes too few
platelets or when too many platelets are destroyed.
b.. Bleeding in the skin and bruising occur.
c.. Blood tests are used to make the diagnosis and determine the
cause.
d.. Sometimes platelet transfusions are needed.
The blood usually contains about 140,000 to 440,000 platelets per
microliter. Bleeding can occur with relatively minor trauma when the platelet
count falls below about 50,000 platelets per microliter of blood. The most
serious risk of bleeding, however, generally does not occur until the platelet
count falls below 10,000 to 20,000 platelets per microliter. At these very low
levels, bleeding may occur without any injury. The last count I had from the VA
hospital was 23,000.

I send this url to interested list
members based upon our EXCELLENT results achieved among our
EXPERIMENTAL
volunteers.   Unfortunately, the mainstream press ( apparently
influenced by interests conflicting with those of the public-at-large)
has been quite
active in denigrating the demonstrated effectiveness of this
substance-in cases involving myocardial infarct  insults..both
as a preventive agent
and as a supporting protocol-AFTER presentation.   Because this
substance IS "dosage-sensitive" in that it demonstrates effects
similar to
curare (derris cube root derivative), furnishes critics with a golden
opportunity to condemn the benefits of strophantin-containing
elements.   I send this reference as information ONLY.
This modality recommends itself as worthy of SERIOUS consideration
among the family of protocols addressing both prevention and treatment
of infarcts and associated complications.

Kathy,

Go to iherb.com and search for magnesium orotate, and calcium orotate by
Advanced Research. The calcium orotate is very difficult to swallow as it
is large and in tablet form (oval). I just switched to their 2-AEP Calcium
from the Calcium Orotate for this reason. The products are mfg. by Advanced
Research and are excellent.

They do not combine the orotates. They these are separate.

My kids reach for the silver for anything they know they need it for.
They are 13 and 14 and will even make it themselves if I'm not around to
do it. My husband swears by it for any upset stomach ( food
poisoning). He used it when a butcher(Dr) tried to remove his toenail
and instead removed his whole toe from the knuckle forward. it took over
a yr to heal the wound up. I can watch almost anything abut cutting the
human body but this was a massacre.

We have it in medicine bottles and spray bottles and they drink or
spray it everywhere there is a need with out flinching. My mother is
also very receptive ... Dr'ing all her animals with it. I use it for
UTI's that are virtually untouchable by anything else. None of my
family is blue, silver or any other color other than normal tan color.

Apparently I have a fairly receptive family.

Sharon- I've been thinking about this very thing. When I was a child, my

the "that younger generation" status. OTOH, my children's generation
considers their parents old fogey's, and so I find myself in the middle,

My children also are not that accepting about using CS, even though they
have seen the great results I have had for myself and also animals,
because of bad press on various internet sites.

  Sol,
I don't recall if you mentioned whether or not you are diabetic and
that the
  PN is from that condition.

One of the supplemental assistants is elemental Magnesium and
possibly in
  high doses.
  Another is Vitamin B-12
  Another is Gama Linoleic Acid.

I'll send you the rather lengthy article on the above which was sent
in to
Beck'n'Stuff list a couple years ago by Donna Crow (owner/mod) who was
helping heal her father from peripheral neuropathy among other things.
