I haven't read all this thread but if it is basal cancer it is easy to remove
with just a mixture of vitamin C and water. Read up on it at cancertutor.com I
used the recipe myself and it did work.

Is there something else that can be used on the face and where would it get
it?

I have tried Essiac cream...but it did nothing.

to some of the alternatives, in my perception. There is a company that sells
a combo of salves, one the black salve for treatment, followed by a healing

don't know how well that works, but if I were going to work on a broader area

CSArthritis vitamin B5

2010-12-12 Thread A. Reid Harvey
Thanks for the quick responses! I'm now recalling what someone recently told
me; that the third constituent of a remedial regime includes vitamin B5, a.k.a.
Pantothenic Acid. The first two constituents are, of course, are Glucosamine
and Chondroitin.

If this is true I'll certainly return to this regime, though I would probably
make the assumption that one cap daily of the B5, at 500mg. would be adequate.
I'm certainly not averse to other, prospective remedies, and in fact I
earnestly solicit these. However I would tend to favor whatever has a basis in
explanation.

I'm sure that there are otherwise some prospective remedies that have an
anecdotal basis, but I'm most inclined to reasoned approaches. Again, the
frequent assertion here, that *there are no incurable illnesses...* has been
comforting.

Re: CSArthritis vitamin B5

2010-12-12 Thread Dan Nave
I had to stop taking glucosamine, which had controlled most of my
arthritic symptoms, because I found that I had an intestinal
sensitivity to chittin and shellfish, from which it is derived. I can
not even take the vegetarian glucosamine, so I suppose I am now
sensitised to glucosamine. I had taken it for 10 to 15 years, and was
having increasingly severe intestinal and gall bladder symptoms
(inflammation). These are going away slowly since stopping the
glucosamine.

I found that taking boron, specifically Borax (not Boraxo) worked
for certain types of arthritic symptoms. It seemed to harden the
joints in my hands so I no longer had pain from things like making a
really tight fist, or twisting a really tight cap off of a jar, etc.
I had had pain between two knuckles where they had been crushed
together from someone demonstrating a kung fu locking technique. This
had lasted for over a year. Within a week of taking borax as a
supplement the pain went away, never to return.

Food sensitivities cause arthritic symptoms in many people. As Nenah
says, some are sensitive to nightshade family plants. I don't think
that is true in my case, although I have never been off them
completely for long enough to really tell. For me it is coffee. If I
drink it I have increasingly severe pain in the connective tissue
around my joints including the top back edges of my hips and lower
back. I had to completely get off coffee in any form for about a
month to really tell the difference. The problem is that the symptoms
occur after one or two days of ingesting the offending substance. You
have to be really rigorous in you analysis to make the connection. It
was very hard to not drink coffee as its use is so pervasive.

One thing that works for some is Hyaluronic Acid. I have not tried
this, but it sounds interesting.

I have tried CMO, which works for some people. It is not a cure for
me, but it may have reduced the symptoms in general, but I can't
really tell for sure.

Maintaining the proper body pH is also helpful. (Don't let your body
get too acidic.) This also helps for gouty symptoms, I believe.
Cellery seed extract often helps for gout from first hand reports I
have heard. Cherry juice is supposed to help as well for some.

If there are widespread issues there may be serious food intolerances.  One way
to deal with this is to get blood tested at a place like Alcat Labs.  They will
test various panels for many items and you can pick which panels you want.  I
finally did this and when I removed the offending foods my body turned around.
I'm not saying it was easy but it is doable.

I'm curious to find out what the ingredients are of the homeopathic version

through with the maintenance phase well and eventually all the weight came
back and more. At the same time: however, I am battling adrenal/thyroid
issues so that continues to work against me no matter what diet I'm on -
until my adrenals are functioning again (and my thyroid after) THEN my
weight should come off successfully.

But, what are the ingredients of the homeopathic version of hcg?

I often wonder, when people say CMO doesn't work for them, if they have
used the plant based version of it. That isn't what the body needs/uses to
restore the ligaments, etc. It needs animal based CMO. From what I've seen
just about all CMO except Jarrow, is now plant based.

So if anyone is going to try CMO, do get Jarrow animal derived CMO. I got
some of the last true beef CMO from a man that made it himself, and it
worked in 10 days for my brothers years long hip pain (in both hips
actually). He continued taking it for 30 days as I had suggested, but the
pain stopped in 10 days and has not come back. It's been a year now.

I have also heard good things about borax.

CSDr. Simeon's HCG Diet

2010-12-12 Thread Craig Chamberlin

Renee,

My wife and I did one round with HCG, she lost 25lbs, I lost 29lbs in
60 days. We have been through the three weeks of "stabilization" and
are now two weeks into the "after" phase. Our weight hasn't varied
more than +/- 2lbs during this entire five week period and mostly has
been an average variation of 1.7lbs for her (hers is higher because she
caught some kind of nasty cold and dropped an additional 3lbs) and
0.8lbs for me.

The actual diet was easy to live with, but the preparation time
(because it is an entirely different way of eating for us) was a bit of
a test. Having said that, there are a lot of gotcha's in the rules and
a support group such as hcgdieters at yahoo.com is essential, imho.

The most amazing aspect of the HCG diet is the reshaping of your body
that goes on. It takes away the hard to lose fat and you see the
changes in your shape. Its why the book is called Pounds and Inches.

I have a scan of the original document here:

http://www.craigcchamberlin.com/uploads/Pounds_and_Inches.pdf

There are smaller, retyped versions, but they all seem to have errors.

If you want hHCG you can find it all over, even at amazon.

Craig

Re: CSDr. Simeon's HCG Diet

2010-12-12 Thread Renee
Hey Craig.

I'm not really thinking of it for myself--just curious as to whether it was
like most 'diets' in that a person looses the weight while on the diet, but
then once the diet is over, they pretty much go back to eating like they
always did--because it's NOT a life style change, simply a diet for a short
period of time--and then they gain all the weight back. I was on another
list and people were raving about dropping so much weight and fat, but no
one had been off the routine long enough to say if it stays off or not.

Thanks, I'll take a look at your scan. It's encouraging to know that there
is a fast way to jumpstart weight loss, but it would be best if exercise
were incorporated along with a new, permanent way of eating rather than
simply changing what you eat for a few weeks.

 Renee

I have tried CMO, which works for some people. It is not a cure for
me, but it may have reduced the symptoms in general, but I can't
 really tell for sure.

CSCS and colds

2010-12-12 Thread David AuBuchon
Is oral CS the best way to give CS for a cold? Or should it be sprayed up
the nose? Breathed in with a humidifier?

Thanks,
~David

RE: CSArthritis vitamin B5

2010-12-12 Thread starshar
The one I use, bestcmo is animal based. It is the original formula made
by Harry Diehl and is highly recommended by Len Sands, an expert in the
field. It is more expensive than most because it also contains a
proprietary blend of enzymes to make it more bio-available. CMO can be
hard to digest.

If it weren't for this product, I would've already had to have my hip
replaced. With this CMO, it's been 4+1/2 yrs since I was told that
surgery was inevitable. I am walking better now than I was then. So far,
I've taken 3 bottles of this since the dx in June of '06, about 1 every
15 months.

How can I tell if it is plant or animal based? Mine says made for The
Vitamin Shoppe. A Proprietary Blend of Fatty Acid Esters. I have been
taking it for 30 days, with no results. I have Osteoarthritis in both
hips..

RE: CSCS and colds

2010-12-12 Thread Neville Munn

I usually drink a given amount, swallowing half of it straight down and holding
the other half for a few minutes in the mouth, and I may do this several times
throughout the day. Haven't got a nebuliser yet but I spray some up the snoz
at bedtime if I feel the need to. FWIW, I brew fresh stuff and use that
throughout the day, then make a new batch the next day if necessary.

Dunno if this is helps at all?

Re: CSDr. Simeon's HCG Diet

2010-12-12 Thread Craig Chamberlin

Hi Renee,

Because this is a very low calorie diet, the exercise is begun after the
VLCD phase ends. There isn't enough protein to support that, unless you
have been an exercise person before you started. She uses a treadmill
and I like the rebounder.

We haven't eaten improperly for a long time:) Complex carbs, fats and
proteins, very small amounts of starches and almost nothing sweet. My
wife gained because of going through peri-menopause. Now that she is
menopausal, it has worked like a charm for her. I just needed to loose
some weight (a continuation from what I lost a few years ago doing
Atkins).

What is most interesting about this diet, is that during the
stabilization period, the hypothalmus (sp) is reset to your new weight
and this becomes the weight your body attempts to maintain. Obviously
with a bit of effort, that can be overcome via poor food choices, etc.

We will both be doing another round in April. She has another 13lb she
want to lose and I need to loose another 20lbs or so. Then we will both
be at our 30yo weights.

And I agree with you about learning another way to eat:) So many need
to learn that so much. And yes, many do not learn and regain all of the
weight lost...and have to start over.

Kind regards,

Craig
