RE: CSArthritis - what causes inflammation?

2012-05-29 Thread Judy Knowlton

I've noticed an enormous number of arthritis emails and avoided them, so I may
be repeating
and off-base for the discussion, but I do have a question. What might cause
inflammation?
From my own experience, something my body is reacting to, trying to get rid
of, or protect me from.
My aches and pains pretty much left me when I began to avoid the things I
traditionally NEVER ran
out of when purchasing foods-- probably personal allergies (?) to me, but
common to many humans:
nightshades, milk products, beef, wheat, alcohol, sugar.
Just as important, I began paying attention to being chronically dehydrated.
Now age 76, I only feel really good
when I;m drinking enough water -- half my pound-weight in ounces per day. A
very pale lemon-color urine
is a sign I'm on the right track. Anything darker is a warning.

DMSO only carries substances of a smaller molecular mass than itself. Rule
of thumb is, molecule is 1000 daltons or less, it WILL go with DMSO. if
not, no worries. DMSO does NOT carry everything it comes in contact with
into the bloodstream or even thru the skin. This is a scare tactic used by
folks who don't want you to use it.

Hi, Asif. I have found wonderful pain relief with DMSO. I only use this
particular DMSO product because I believe it to be pure. (I have no
affiliation with the company.. I am just a customer.) Do dilute this
70/30% mixture by about 30% distilled water or even 50% when first starting
 off. http://dmso.bz/pages/1/index.htm

DMSO is a 'carrier' and will penetrate into tissues very deeply but.. it
takes everything it touches with it... so make sure your skin and hands are
clean (no soap residue or lotion, moisterizers, etc) When you first use it
(just dab it on.. don't rub it in), there may be some initial redness and
itchiness but that won't last long. With each usage, the reaction lessens
and finally won't happen at all. It is marvelous stuff.

The other thing that can help is hyaluronic acid, a substance that the
body produces and uses to lubricate joints, etc. I use the vitacost brand
(read the reviews) and start off with 4 - 6 per day, tapering down to a
maintenance dose of 2 per day as you experience pain relief.

 Also Willard's Water.. available from
 http://www.willardswater.com/home.php (again, I am just a customer and I
trust this site.) It seems to enhance the effect of whatever
supplements you are taking, is a great antioxidant and seems to alleviate
 some arthritic pain.

There are a few more things, but yes... diet is important. Try to eat
fresh, wholesome foods, drink plenty of clean water, get out in the fresh
air and moderate exercise. Limit your exposure to toxins (fumes,
 chemicals, flourides, chlorine etc).
I also use shark cartilage (a great anti-inflammatory) from time to
time, sleep on an earthing/grounding sheet and use castor oil packs when I
have a flare up.I take all these things myself in lieu of otc or rx
pain relievers and they are relatively inexpensive and easy to take/use
 with little side effects.

If you need any more info.. just give me a holler.. glad to help. Lola

Re: CSArthritis - what causes inflammation?

2012-05-29 Thread 123 456
Hi Judy,
It is taught that the major cause of inflammation in a body is from a
too acidic Ph system.
Acid burns, acidic reactions etc cause the cartilege in the joints to
disintegrate as also the rest of th body does in an 'acid wash'.
The first thing to try would be to stop all white sugars and phosphate drinks .
 No tea, coffee or milk.
Milk is a mucous forming liquid and causes many problems too, more
than I can go into here.
It is usually recommended to drink a small squeeze of fresh lemon in
your glasses of water.
That will balance out the Ph and start to help help clear any fatty
deposits in the liver.
I assume that the water is either distilled pure water or spring.
(Yes, I know, now I am opening a huge discussion on distilled water. .
. later).
When the fresh lemon hits the stomach it turns the system into a more
alkaine environment.
Don't ask me for the chemistry on this I would have to find my old
text books for that. I'm sure it's probably somewhere on the web
tho'.
That's for basic starters.
The next thing I would suggest is to look up Robert Von Sarbrucher on the web.
(Since we now know that these notes are being reposted by some lazy
lurkers I am reluctant to do the work for them.)
Also, you will find many links to some really useful and enlightening
material up there on the web so I don't want to limit your fun of
discovery either.
If you are really stuck tho' then email me offline and I'll do my best
to find some good links for you to explore.
The raw food diets don't need to be complicated or hard.
In fact, raw salads and greens every day is one of the very best
gentle detoxes you can do for yourself especially in the hot weather.
Talk whenever you wish. This is just a start.
Be well.

DMSO only carries substances of a smaller molecular mass than itself. Rule
of thumb is, molecule is 1000 daltons or less, it WILL go with DMSO. if not,
no worries. DMSO does NOT carry everything it comes in contact with into the
bloodstream or even thru the skin. This is a scare tactic used by folks who
don't want you to use it.

amazon) can neutralize the acidity that contributed to the pain.

Topically, I apply DMSO, quickly followed by shea butter or aloe
(DMSO is very drying to the skin) and it's pretty impressive at
reducing pain in the area. Another good roll-on (I get the bottles
from eBay, is Brokk's mix, which is 75% CS, 15% glycerine, and 10%
DMSO. I keep it handy, even in a perfume-sized roll-on in my purse
and apply to painful joints. It really helps.

One particular pinkie finger, however, didn't respond much to these
treatments, so I started taking tart cherry, which is helpful to
gout, and that seemed to resolve that pain.

Also, personal experience: Reiki is wonderful for melting away pain.
See if you can find a practitioner, or even become attuned to Reiki
so you can practice it yourself. It's warm, relaxing, helps
circulation, somehow reduces inflammation, and has made my recovery
SO much more comfortable.

Be well,

  Hi Harold,
This sounds great! Would xylitol work (for those who hate stevia)?

Welcome back, Tel.  I am so sorry you have been having problems but also very
glad that you seem to have straightened them all out.   Hopefully, life will
return to normal and 'stay' fixed, right?  :)   Lola

I had lyme disease about 25 years ago and was on crutches before getting rid of
it.  I completely cured the arthritis with CMO.

Hi Asif,
I've got Lyme disease, which, of course, manifests symptoms of arthritis.
Whenever I eat things that cause sensitivities (like nightshade or citrus) I
find that Alka-Seltzer Gold (can be found at amazon) can neutralize the
acidity that contributed to the pain.

Topically, I apply DMSO, quickly followed by shea butter or aloe (DMSO is very
drying to the skin) and it's pretty impressive at reducing pain in the area.
Another good roll-on (I get the bottles from eBay, is Brokk's mix, which is
75% CS, 15% glycerine, and 10% DMSO. I keep it handy, even in a perfume-sized
roll-on in my purse and apply to painful joints. It really helps.

One particular pinkie finger, however, didn't respond much to these
treatments, so I started taking tart cherry, which is helpful to gout, and
that seemed to resolve that pain.

Also, personal experience: Reiki is wonderful for melting away pain. See if
you can find a practitioner, or even become attuned to Reiki so you can
practice it yourself. It's warm, relaxing, helps circulation, somehow reduces
inflammation, and has made my recovery SO much more comfortable.

Be well,
Léna

Hi silver list,
I wonder if you you guys have any good treatments for
arthritis in the joints. Knees and fingers especially.
The person has been taking around 10ml of 15ppm silver once
a day and reports its helps.
The person is being put on increased painkillers for this
condition which has its own side effects .
So I seek the wisdom of the usually very helpful people
here.
Thank you.
Peace to all.

CSDiaper Rash

2012-05-29 Thread Melly Bag
PT,

Make a cream out of virgin coconut oil, beeswax and lavander oil.   Melt the
beeswax, not much, just enough to make the coconut oil creamy, then add the
coconut oil, stirring vigorously until well mixed, then wait until it
gets cloudy, and then add  some lavander oil.  You may also add some lavander
oil in the container before transferring the cream.  This is great for diaper
rash.  Some disappear overnight including redness and rash.

I make this cream and it is good for burns, sun burns, wounds, facial cream,
moisturizer, etc.

Yes,Xylitol would work.I have used same off and on for a long time. However, I
like the liquid Sweet Leaf “SteviaClear” by Wisdom Natural Brands.Gilbert,
Arizona, www.sweetleaf.com
This has no taste where-as the powder form was some-what bitter if a bit too
much was used.
The liquid I can get in my local supermarket now.
Take care all.
