CSdental: pericoronitis.leaning towards osteomyelitis

2007-06-08 Thread Hannah

I have the misfortune of having an infection in my lower
jaw, around wisdom tooth site. When pain and pressure became
a little too much I asked my dentist what it could be.. his
response was ..nothing wrong, and the wisdom tooth still
embedded is fine... just some jaw pain. With that I went to
see my local doctor who said straightaway that it
was osteo arthritis... he gave me a sheet with exercises for
my jaw and that was end of that visit.
Thought it was a bit weird sort of pain to be osteo
arthritis.. after a week a tiny hole appeared in
gum and pus and blood..so went back to dentist.. he then sort
of panicked, not sure what to do, so I pushed for an x ray. In
general I won't have x-rays but pain was getting really bad
and I needed proof something was really wrong for the last 6
months. Pericoronitis etc was diagnosis after x ray.
Just doubtful if the non erupted wisdom was impacted or
not.
I went to see oral surgeon. He wasn't too reassuring, telling
me that surgery would be a risky one because the roots of the wisdom
tooth are pointing backwards and too close to nerve. It is a real
possibility that I end up with numb right side of jaw/cheek as
result of surgery. . Apart from that, he said that according
to the x ray the wisdom tooth is not the culprit. Not
running for the surgery as a result... I guess it doesn't
help that doctor/dentist/oral surgeon aren't giving me some
definite and corroborating information/diagnosis.
In the meantime, I started to up my dose of CS, have pulsed with
sota pulser, have used V's gadget.. but... nothing
seems to improve the situation. Would any of you have
any further ideas what else I could do to stop this
infection, blood/pus and pain.
Thanks in advance

Hair loss in general can have several different causes
related to one's health , but alopecia is not just hair loss.
Possible tests to determine which form of alopecia one is
dealing with may give a guide as to what can be done about it. This
link (and there are many more, google for it)

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/tutorials/alopecia/dm029102.pdf
 gives a bit more insight.
A couple of years ago I did some research for a farmer friend of
mine whose alopecia started on the line where he
normally wears his hat or cap, and a type of fungus was said to be
a contributing factor as well as a compromised immune system.
It turned out to be an irreversible form.

Even after eliminating the poisons, the recovery period can be rather

CSNATURAL SOLUTIONS FOUNDATION's DISINFORMATION SHOULD BE IGNORED NOT FORWARDED-

2007-04-09 Thread Hannah

NATURAL SOLUTIONS FOUNDATION's
DISINFORMATION SHOULD BE IGNORED NOT FORWARDED- HERE IS
WHY!!
(this is an email forward from the becknblood group)

From: IAHF
List:
A few people on the IAHF list have
forwarded an alert to us that originated from a controlled
opposition group called the Natural Solutions
Foundation. Since entering our movement, this dubious
organization has been actively interfering with the work of IAHF and
allied organizations via a campaign of disinformation and
spin intended to distract dietary supplement
consumers from the REAL issues in an attempt to
subvert and hijack our movement by steering the
grass roots into dead ends. Their gameplan is thoroughly
exposed here:

A Modern Major General
Exposed?

http://www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/THE_FOUNDATION/Events/codex-moderngeneral.html

and here: CONTROLLED
OPPOSITION GROUPS

http://www.nocodexgenocide.com/page/page/3312735.htm

Their recent campaign calls attention
to an FDA Federal Register Notice
(
http://www.fda.gov/OHRMS/DOCKETS/98fr/E7-3259.htm) which they
outrageously assert threatens to block non MDs from recommending dietary
supplements to patients is no
exception.
They would have us believe that unless
we flood the FDA with their form comment, that the FDA is going to
suddenly start attacking any non MD (chiropractor, ND, etc) who
recommends dietary supplements to a
patient.
NSFs assertions are both false
and absurd. They would have us believe that FDA has the ability
to rewrite the law. FDA can't do that, only Congress can. They would have
us believe that through a Federal Register notice, FDA has the ability to
make changes to the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994
under which dietary supplements are regulated as foods. They would have
us believe that based on what FDA is saying, that unless FDA hears from a
lot of people, non MDs (naturopaths, chiropractors) will suddenly not be
allowed to recommend dietary supplements to patients and that health food
stores would no longer be allowed to sell them to us. That is both
false and absurd! This is the worst form of sensationalism and it has NO
PLACE in this movement!
WHAT NSF IS TRYING TO DISTRACT YOU
FROM

It should be self evident that unless
we are able to stop our country from being forced into the North
American Union, that failure to defend our sovereignty equals
failure to defend the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act and all
of our other laws as well as our Constitution.

Laibow/Stubblebine aren't
doing a damn thing to call attention to this, moreover, when
our movement attempted to kill CAFTA, (recognizing that the SPS language
it contains ropes us more into CODEX) Laibow/Stubblebine generated no
less than SEVEN spin pieces against our message
while SIMULTANEOUSLY telling people that they'd just
achieved a (non existent) VICTORY at
Codex.

Read A Modern Major General
Exposed? to get an idea of the kind of spin these people routinely
engage in:

http://www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/THE_FOUNDATION/Events/codex-moderngeneral.html

They did this in order to create COGNITIVE
DISSONANCE in the minds of the people who were receiving our
alerts- because they wanted them to SIT ON THEIR HANDS
and not do ANYTHING to oppose CAFTA. Right now,
they're not doing anything to warn people about FDA's TCC or the NAU
which its part of:

CSArticle on CS found on pathguy.com

2007-04-05 Thread Hannah

This afternoon I found an article which doesn't read as a promotion for
the use of EIS. Other articles on the website somehow
indicate he isn't quite in favor of alternative healing
modalities.

Silver
Colloid

I would be remiss if I did not warn visitors about this insidious health
fraud.
Silver-based preparations are a mainstay of burn care. It is quite
possible that ingested silver has some effect against minor infections. A
few years ago, the mayor of a Florida town tried to distribute it widely
as part of a campagin against HIV infection.
If you use these remedies, which are still available over-the-counter,
you will accumulate silver in your body. There will be no way to get rid
of it. There are two serious complications.

Argyria, and
Massive brain damage.
In the present political climate, it
is unlikely that colloidal silver will be banned in the United States.
Still, the FDA emphasizes that isn't a shred of non-anecdotal evidence
that it works (J. Tox. 34: 119, 1996; Federal Register 64:
44653, 1999).
Argyria turns the skin permanently gray-blue, causing serious
disfigurement. Websites promise this won't happen, but it's a lie. I have
had three correpondents with argyria write me asking for help. I could
offer none. In one case, I offered to help DFS take a kid out of a home
where he was being given colloidal silver. You can read about argyria in
Cutis 66: 373, 2000; Clin. Exp. Derm. 28: 254, 2003; Int.
J. Derm. 42: 549, 2003.
The neurology team at Western Ontario published (Neurology 62:
1408, 2004) an account of a colloidal silver enthusiast who over the
course of four months brought his levels tremendously high. He developed
myoclonic status epilepticus (i.e., uncontrollable, never-ending jerking
of his body), and progressed into coma. He went into a persistent
vegetative state and was allowed to die 5.5 months later.
I urge you in the strongest terms not to use colloidal silver. Call me
unspiritual if you want.

CSProgressive Spastic Paraparesis

2006-12-13 Thread Hannah

Today I received a call from a dear friend of mine with the
sad news of a final diagnosis for his struggle with worsening sore legs
and difficulty walking over the last 3 years.. verdict was
Progressive Spastic Paraparesis..
His neurologist has sent him home with the message that there is no
protocol to help him, that he will be in wheelchair within 2 years if he
makes it that far.
From XMas onwards he will go on sick leave for 3 months after which
he will retire officially from the work force... he is only
63, not a nice Xmas present to be given.
I have been googling for this condition, and it appears it can be
hereditary but also as result of being infected by the HTLV-I
virus (Human T-lymphotropic virus type I). This appears to be a
retrovirus.. and right now I am on steep learning curve to learn as much
as possible about this . There appear to be 3 other forms of
this HTLV virus (II, III, and IV).
Anyhow, I hope to talk to him soon and I'd like to have some more
info as to a possible alternative protocol. Is any of the
members on the list familiar with this condition (PSP) or the HTLV-I
virus. If so, do you have any details of a possible protocol
.
My immediate thought was the BE unit (blood electrifier), CS
and Vit C..
I am only at the very beginning of researching this condition and the
retrovirus but would appreciate all and any input from those who
have knowledge and experience with a possible protocol regarding
this.
Thanks all in advance

CSimmunosuppressant responsive idiopathic lymphoeytic pleuritis

2006-09-03 Thread Hannah

Has anyone on the list dealt with, or knows about
immunosuppressant responsive
idiopathic lymphocytic pleuritis , a condition a friend of
mine was diagnosed with.
Translated in my own words it is lymphocytic pleuritis with unknown cause
which responds to immuno suppressant drugs.
She fell ill in August 2005, and hospitalised in
September 2005. Doctors were baffled and have done a zillion
tests, administering all sorts of drugs trying to keep her alive... and
worked out after 10 months that that is what they were dealing with. Now
into the 13th month. they are trying to wean her of
steroids.
Any suggestions that will help her to get back on her feet would be
really appreciated. I am assuming that some of the drugs she has been
given over the months may have left some health issues in addition to the
pleuritis recovery and regaining strength are very
slow.

CSKnees - Baker's Cyst

2006-03-30 Thread Hannah

After a week of sharp pains in calf of leg (felt like
blood clot), followed by my leg giving way, swollen knee and a tightness
around knee, I asked doctor what I was dealing with. He said
it was pretty much a Baker's Cyst which had burst. Apart from
offering some anti inflammatories and , if it persisted, surgery to
repair damage (pretty much compared to repairing a hernia but then
in knee), I wonder if there are any members here on list who have
some suggestions to deal with it . I'd rather not have
surgery if I can avoid it. Pain behind knee only if squatting or
kneeling. How can I stop and lessen the fluid build-up and,
better still, how to avoid this from happening again. My only
ideas sofar towards prevention is an arthritis friendly diet. I am pretty
certain this tear in outer membrane is not due to accidental
tear.
All suggestions welcomed.
Thanks
Hanneke ~ Australia

Baker's cystThe knee is a hinge joint,
situated between the thigh bone and shin bones. The entire joint is
enclosed inside a tough capsule lined with a membrane and filled with
lubricating synovial fluid. Extra capsules or sacs of fluid, known as
bursae, cushion and help reduce friction between tissues, produced by
movement. Baker's cyst is a pronounced swelling on the back of the knee,
caused by the abnormal collection of fluid inside the bursae. The
symptoms are mild unless the cyst bursts or extends down into the calf
muscles. Common causes of Baker's cyst include arthritis, infection, torn
knee cartilage and other knee injuries. Baker's cyst is also known as a
popliteal cyst.

This coming week I will go for day surgery to have a lipoma removed
from left forearm (size about 5.5 cm by 3.5 cm) and one from thigh,
in size a little larger (and deeper is my estimation). It will be
done with local anaesthetic.
My question is: is it advisable to perhaps not ingest any CS at least 24
hours prior to surgery, or perhaps even 48 hours. Could it interfere with
anaesthetic at all. Are there perhaps any other precautions I
should take before going in.
This is as far as medical intervention will be, healing afterwards
will be mostly home remedies (pain management etc). The removal is
only done to help with diagnosis towards possibility of Dercums.

CSCS and Vasculitis

2006-03-06 Thread Hannah

I wonder if any of the members could point me towards
solution for (possible) Livedo Reticularis.
As a regular user of CS I have to assume that the CS as such is not
having any impact on this since I have had this discolourisation of
thighs for as long as I can remember. Wouldn't even be able to say
if it looks worse now than before, mostly because I m so used to
it.
The dermatologist seems to think it may be related to a form of lupus or
other auto immune condition (test results should be in soon). From
what I have been reading it appears idiopathic (a good one for guinea pig
drug testing of course) but I haven't come across anything to improve
this with an alternative approach. The only discomfort I
experience is a tightness of top layer of skin of thighs and a hot
burning sensation at times. Hard to know if that is from possible
Dercum's, or from this suspected LR.
Up until now I used that sensation as an indicator that I was
dehydrated and upped my fluid intake.. but perhaps there is more to
it.

(Livedo reticularis

http://skin-care.health-cares.net/livedo-reticularis.php
Livedo reticularis is a blue-reddish skin discoloration and
most often localized in the lower extremities. The pathological mechanism
of this is poorly understood. Probably it is related to the peripheral
blood flow redistribution. Livedo reticularis mostly represents an
idiopathic condition but may be associated with systemic diseases.

Livedo reticularis is a disorder in which blood vessels are constricted,
or narrowed. It results in mottled discoloring on large areas of the legs
or arms. Livedo reticularis refers to a condition in which dilation of
capillary blood vessels and stagnation of blood within these vessels
causes mottled discolouration of the skin. It is described as being
reticular (net-like) cyanotic (reddish blue discolouration) cutaneous
discolouration surrounding pale central areas.

1 oz of Brazil nuts provides about 10 times the daily requirement of

Selenium . So 1 nut a day should suffice. Much cheaper and safer
than
pills. Tuna's a good source too.

CSH.Pylori and ulcers

2006-02-20 Thread Hannah
About to suggest to a friend suffering badly with stomach ulcers
(with treatments by doctor with no lasting results), to drink up to a
quart of colloidal silver to help kill the virus, but also drink raw
cabbage juice to help heal the stomach. Also to give suggestions of
limiting/eliminating acid forming foods until she feels better.

Am I on the right track?

Thanks

Re: CSdental mercury (with apologies to Ole Bob)

2006-02-17 Thread Hannah
I happily oblige with Mike's request to share my email to him
earlier this week with the members on this list. Sorry Bob, it will
by my one and only contribution on the subject, hope you will forgive me.

Cheers
Hanneke ~ Australia

Hi Mike

I have been following the mercury discussion for a while but haven't
contributed thus far. I think I have written a short post in the
past about my health issues which stemmed from mercury poisoning,
mainly amalgam fillings. But with the archives down I can't look it up.

I am all in favour of having amalgams removed and I write below
why. There is also a support group on yahoo, adult-metal-chelation
where Andrew Cutler appears regularly. One can ask him questions
directly. I got his book here and dearly wished I had that sort of
information when I was dealing with it in the late 70's. Would have
been a short cut too incredible to be possible, and I'm sure I
wouldn't have felt the lone ranger in my search for better health.

I had a tentative MS diagnosis three months after giving birth to my
youngest daughter (1978). The sight in my left eye was gone, and
most symptoms I had were said to be consistent with MS (rubbery
legs, tremors, band around head, no knee reflexes and other). This
was a scary time with still some belief in the medical system
left. That latest health hiccup came on top of niggling health
issues that I had been experiencing for years ( trouble
conceiving, trouble keeping weight on, brain fog, emotional about
the tiniest things, ongoing colds and sinus problems, looking not
healthy and quite a few others I have forgotten about. Basically, I
was always sick with something, and they never could tell me what).

Since I rejected the suggestion of it being MS I started doing my own
research (this all started in 1978), it took me 10 full years of
doggedly reading all and everything I could get my hands on. Since
most of my 'complaints' were said to be in my head, I tried to get
access to the library of a psychiatric hospital too. With English
being my second language I had trouble understanding all the
academic dithering but my searching was on the right track, Was a
gut feeling and I just kept going.
In 1988 I thought I had enough info to decide for myself it was
mercury poisoning, I had to decide for myself coz no doctor was
willing to touch it. In their eyes I was a head case in need of
psychiatric drugs, just being deluded by the idea of something else
causing my health problems.
I didn't think I had anything to lose by going ahead following my gut
feelings, there wasn't much left of me anyway.
I had all my amalgams removed. Was it professionally done?? Apart
from the dam in mouth, and following the protocol of having it done
in the shortest possible time (1 quadrant per week), I don't think
all the guidelines I have been learning about in the last couple of
years were attended to, including no chelation program. Only advise
I was given afterwards was to drink lots and lots of water.

For me, with my health worn down so much, I was so skinny that a
description of bag of bones was appropriate, I was ready for a wheel
chair. Suffering severe depression, no appetite to speak of,
insomnia, looking like death warmed up and feeling worse...lol

all this changed fairly soon after the amalgams were removed.
The best thing after my dentist worked on left lower quadrant, was
that sight in my left eye which had returned over time minus the
colour, improved almost overnight!!! I had colour sight in right eye
but it never restored fully in left eye after initially going blind
in that eye. Removal of the fillings on that quadrant restored most
of it and returned to normal in the months following the
removal. Was it a filling pressing on a nerve in that section? I
will never know.
I do believe that a mercury poisoned system is unable to absorb
nutrients properly which has a domino effect on every system within
the body and culminating in total breakdown.

Further improvements in health occurred. Appetite returned although
never been abundant. I looked a 'million' dollars ... lol... people
started commenting on how I looked, no longer greyish, sickly, but
got colour back in my face. I still had plenty of health issues to
attend to which I contribute to the fact that the mercury poisoning
had done a thorough job on my overall health and had shot my immune
system.I had taken away the source of continuous poisoning but
with no chelation program in place , not taken care of the damaging
mercury which had settled in tissue. And even after 18 years I am
still dealing with some of it.
My diet changed dramatically too as a result. Multiple allergy
testing (in 1986)brought out that I was allergic to just about
anything that others took for granted. Most I have overcome through
mercury removal. Dairy is one I will always have to put up with, bit
tough on

Re: CSdercums disease and CS

2005-12-18 Thread Hannah

As a user of CS for quite a few years, but also the 'owner' of many
lipomas which as yet are still undiagnosed as to which variety
(Dercum's,Madelungs, or 'just' familial multiple lipomas - still
searching for a specialist here in Oz who knows about Dercum's and
can diagnose - ) I have not seen any positive influence on the
lipomas/fatty benign tumors. Neither in halting the development of
news ones nor stopping from existing ones in their growth. It just continues.

A fairly active support group by Dercum's sufferers can be found at
the following website. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Dercums_Disease/

However, I wouldn't want to be without CS to keep my immune system
from being overloaded. My observation is that many Dercum's people
do have a number of other health issues often auto immune system related.

Many power email users use Eudora.

I have used it since Version 1 or 2. It is near the most bullet

Re: CSlightflashes between eyes, and the retina

Thanks for your response...

The lightflashes all happened at the same time I was told I had
MS. after taking care of the amalgam/mercury poisoning (all
amalgam/mercury removed and replaced) these lightflashes all
disappeared as did most of the MS symptoms.

Be careful with your eyes, Hanneke. Do you see those flashes in the
evening (in the dark) as greenish bubbles, or ~flashes?

I was told this could mean that your retina is loosening.
You may consider seeing anophthalmologist for this, it is no joke.
They (uups alternatively livning Leo, angry at medicine speaking...)
can sew it back to its original state with laserbeams. Takes only
a few minutes, no side effects, and your eye saved from blindness.
At least, consider checking IF the flashes originate from this, for
the process cannot be reversed, once the retina is too far gone.

Re: CSOrthodontia question...

2005-10-03 Thread Hannah
These days most parents are suggested braces for at least one of
their children. Unless there is an obvious and plausible reason to
put them thru that period of having to wear braces (and you as a
parent having to fork out a fortune), it is worth asking for a second
opinion, perhaps even a third.
My eldest daughter had real buck teeth due to thumb sucking as a
child as well as carrying extra teeth behind the visible teeth which
pushed the front teeth even more forward, there just wasn't enough
room . She also became selfconscious about her appearance and
started holding her hand over her mouth.

There were obvious reasons to go ahead with braces for her.

My youngest daughter had a gap between her front teeth... it was
never suggested for her and guess what... the gap closed up when she
grew older. Her little daughter, a spitting image in every way of
her mum, is sporting a similar gap ... (The gap is actually giving a
rather cheeky expression to her face and appearance as it did with my
daughter). And I agree with William's wifelol... rather like
that explanation.
