If dealing with candida, you should really check out bentonite clay.
After many rounds of antibiotics for diverticulitis, it was finally the

I completely agree with you that CS must be used prudently. If CS
is taken on an empty stomach, it will kill ALL bacteria in the
gut, whether friendly flora or foe flora. If CS is taken with
food, it won’t have as much of an effect (if any) on the friendly
flora. I make sure to take probiotics and CS hours apart of each
other.

As for someone who’s into holistic health who gets cancer and
dies: I believe that if it’s someone’s time to go, no matter what
we do…it’s time. But your mention of JM and the gut reminds me of
how important the gut flora is. Researchers even have a name for
it: microbiome.

Boron, Mineral Surprise
by Dr John Whitcomb

Boron, Mineral Surprise

References: Science Direct, Wikipedia,

Ever heard of boron? Not a very common mineral in mammals. In fact,
it's considered an "ultra trace"
mineral. Produced by spallation and supernovae, it is not an
abundant mineral, but is present in
many soils in a trace level. There is no obvious known animal use
for it as making rats deficient
has been a challenge requiring ultra pure diets. Rats then get lousy
skin and fur. It's very light
in weight and makes extremely hard crystals, allowing it to be used
as an industrial abrasive and in

high tech magnets and super strong fibers.

Imagine my surprise when I find that it has a surprising role in
humans. It is one of the most
effective known tools to reduce sex hormone binding globulin. It
also may play a surprising role in
osteoporosis and arthritis. In parts of the world where intake of
boron is less than a mg a day, the
incidence of arthritis is 50-70%. In those parts of the world where
boron intake is 3-10 mg a day,
arthritis is around 0-10%. That's just epidemiology, and we don't
have good human studies with

arthritis.

We do have a study showing boron's effect on SHBG. SHBG is Sex
Hormone Binding Globulin. It is the
protein tasked with transporting estrogen and testosterone around
the body. Hormones are based on
cholesterol, a fat, and fat doesn't dissolve in water. SHBG allows
them to be transported in water.
It binds about 99% of the hormones, leading only 1% in the
bioavailable or free form. The way birth
control pills work is to dramatically increase SHBG, thereby binding
virtually all free estrogen and
testosterone. The problem arises when you stop the pill, SHBG may
not go back to normal.

In fact, SHBG's continuing to be high may be a problem with men too.
Continued high SHBG leads to
very tiny levels of free testosterone. Lowering SHBG may be part of
how we raise the level of the

hormones we depend on for good health, testosterone and estrogen.

In this study, 10 mg of boron was given to eight healthy men for a
week. In that short time period,
their blood boron increased and their free testosterone increased
dramatically by 29%, mostly due to
a drop in SHBG. Interestingly enough, CRP, the main mediator of
inflammation, dropped dramatically
as well. This is a terribly short study, with a tiny number of
participants, but it opens a door to
think about the benefit of boron. Then, I look at the ingredients in
my most effective bone builder,
Pro Bono, and I see 2.5 mg of boron daily. The literature on boron
and calcium and bone metabolism

is thin, but it suggests we do better when we have more.

www. What will work for me. I had no idea that boron played such a
big role in general health. I'm
sort of fascinated that this arcane, micro mineral might be so
useful. I'm determined to follow this
further. Between lowering CRP, lowering SHBG, raising testosterone,
lowering calcium excretion, we
might have a whole host of reasons to consider this spallated
mineral to be a little superstar. And
it's fun to learn the term spallation. I'm adding boron to my list
of minerals to use for arthritis,

inflammation and SHBG management.

Pop Quiz

1. Boron is a critical element for human health. T or F

Trick question. We don't really know. It's a micro trace element
with no known mechanism of action

but with many small studies showing beneficial effects.

2. Sex Hormone Binding Globulin rises dramatically with boron. T or F

I think that is too much. I make 24 oz and get perfect CS. I have the

Hi all,
Speaking of iodine -- I've noticed in 4 different local store - they
all stopped selling those little dark brown bottles of iodine. Has
this been stopped? I need some and was so surprised of how stores
stopped selling them. Wonder why.

Take the vaccine immediately. If you have ever had chicken pox then the
virus is dormant in your spine. Different things can make it come out
.. usually stress or illness. I had one spot that itched like crazy

not had any further outbreaks. Taking lysine is supposed to help
prevent it and help with outbreaks.

2015-09-01 Thread Patricia
Jeff.. my thoughts. No on adding bentionite to the flush.. in my
opinion. I think CS is sufficient. But yes .. to taking it in liquid
form by mouth on empty stomach.. or an hour away from food or meds.
I mix in large glass container and add one tsp of clay to each 8 oz of
water. Let it sit on top until it drops ..then stir with wood of
plastic .. no metal should touch it.
I keep in fridge but not necessary..just tastes better... chug 3-4 oz
2x a day . It absorb over 600 diffeent toxins and pathogens. If she
doesn't want to drink it you can put clay in capsules and drink water.
I think it is more powerful in liquid form. You will be amazed. I
cured myself of diverticulitis by taking it 2x a day over a few
months..and tests proved it. In my opinion the CS flush plus drinking
it throughout day plus clay 2x. Don't mix anything with the clay...that
detracts from its power.
I always run for the clay when I get sick with most anything. I like
the Redmond Clay. www.redmondclay.com I have used others and this one
seems more powerful...there is definitely a difference in the clays.
Good luck.

However, in some cases patients do feel better with synthetic hormones. One reason
for this is that a small subset of people with Hashimoto’s produce antibodies not only to
their thyroid tissue (TPO and TG), but also to their own thyroid hormones (T4 and T3).
These patients do worse with bio-identical sources because they increased the source of

However, in some cases patients do feel better with synthetic hormones. One reason
for this is that a small subset of people with Hashimoto’s produce antibodies not only to
their thyroid tissue (TPO and TG), but also to their own thyroid hormones (T4 and T3).
These patients do worse with bio-identical sources because they increased the source of
the autoimmune attack.

I did wear the bandaid for several days and through a few washes
otherwise there was no skin break - but I knew it would do the trick
it did yes I have used silver dressings extensively for burns
patients for many years while I was nursing. I have to say I am
disappointed it contains aluminium.

Jane

The silver bandaid has a layer interwoven with aluminum thread
and another one with silver thread. When body fluids provide the
electrolyte, a battery effect is created which sends silver ions
headed towards the aluminum..only to get lost in the wound.

It is in all respects, a CS generator wrapped around your finger.

The silver dressings such as silverlon and acticoat are used
with small amounts of electrical current to produce the silver
ions in the wound. Often used in burn wards now.

@ Sandee...I have never used any coloured glass, just clear glass
containers.

Sweating...I suppose you could call it that, little beads of water
droplets collecting around the inside of the vessel, and the longer
the time in storage, the larger those droplets get, eventually
resulting in some running down the glass and returning back into the
solution no doubt.

While the product is brewed at room temperature, and is stored in

Perhaps this is a purely natural process with water, any water,

Yes, they are coated so that no bare metal is in contact with anything

I don't know about the clay working, but food grade diatomaceous earth
cleans out the intestines so you can absorb more nutrients into your
body. It also has many other benefits for your body. It's about 86%
silica that your body needs and rarely gets. Good for hair, nails,

from the internet is to use a cotton ball and vegetable oil (castor oil) and
 completely cover the ticks

Well,

Of course, if the silver is not pure enough it is possible to have
traces of other metals in it, including nickel. Also, if there is any
stainless steel in the apparatus it is possible to have nickel as a
contaminant.

If it is four nines silver (99.99%) , and you have a squeeky clean set
up and know the components, that risk can be minimised if someone is
severly allergic. It can be done, just a tiny bit more trouble. It
should not be necessary for nearly everyone else.

I like her idea of the skin prick test for a severly allergic person. I
am allergic to nickel as well, but have never had any problems with my
solutions, and I use 3 nines silver (99.9%).

Just my thought, anyone else?

CSUnusual balding spots

2003-07-22 Thread Patricia King
Hi,
I have a friend that is a missionary in the Philippines and her son has
developed bald spots on his head. The skin is white and clean, no bumps or
redness. It doesn't itch. She noticed the first one in April and a doctor
there said he is probably doing it to himself and not to worry. But the hair
in that spot has never grown back and now he has two more spots just like it.
one is 3-4 across and the other is 1 1/2 across. One is sort of round and
the other is more triangular. She has noticed this on some of the other
children playing, but none of her girls have gotten it. Any ideas on what it
may be or what might help it? Will CS have any effect on it? They've only
been in the Philippines for about 7 months now and so far, he is the only one
that hasn't gotten sick and lost any weight. Any suggestions would be most
greatly appreciated.

Hi Patti - did you send this to the list, too? When I hit reply it
only goes to the person and not the whole list, so I always have to

I have also used CS in my betta bowls - when I got my first betta, he
didn't look too good, and after using CS in his water, his health and
quality improved. I think since bettas are air breathers and most
people usually change their water fairly often, there isn't the
biological filter to deal with like there is in a large established
 aquarium.

problem with it. In addition to the CS I try to make sure I drink plenty
of water daily and I do try to make sure I eat enough fiber (i.e., a

Re: CSOle Bob/ Poison ivy treatment

2003-05-19 Thread Patricia King
Years ago I was camping and took a nature hike and learned from the lady
that was leading the group that Jewelweed is the natural cure of poison ivy,
poison oak, etc. We have used it several times in our family and given it
to many friends and it always works. The plant usually grows in wet areas
where poison ivy grows and has a tuberous stem. The flowers appear in the
fall and are a golden yellow (looks like a ladyslipper-type flower). The
seed pods are neat because if you touch the bottom of them they pop (we used
to call it popweed). You take the plant (all parts) and steep it in water
for about 1/2 hour; then strain and store the liquid in the freezer (ice
cube trays work the best) or you can put it in canning jars and store it
that way. You dab the liquid on your rash several times a day and it drys
it up, usually within a day or two. It keeps in the fridge for about 48
hours, but frozen or canned we have kept it for over a year. With the ice
cubes you can pull out and thaw what you need, when you need it.

My pastor had gotten poison ivy a year ago and had gone to the Dr. with it.
He had been put on 2-3 different types of medication and after a couple
weeks just kept getting worse. When I found out that he had poison ivy, I
gave him some of my jewelweed tea and he was almost completely cleared up
in 2 days. Another lady then got it at my church and I told her about using
the Jewelweed. She said she knew where she had some of those plants and
would try it, but didn't. After 2 weeks and almost having to be
hospitalized because of her face swelling and other problems, I took her
some that was already brewed and after using it once, her face began to go
back to normal and within 12 hours of putting it on several times throughout
the day, her face was back to normal and it completely got rid of her
condition.

Hope this helps you out, Jay.

CSNew to the List

2003-04-23 Thread Patricia King
Hi,
My mom purchased a CS Generator through Herbalremedies.Com and we have been
making silver for over a year now. I have recently learned that this may not
be the right way to make it and we may not be getting all the results we should
be (not to mention that we may be adding some wrong things into our bodies at
the same time!). Please help me understand exactly how CS should be made and
how much we should be taking. What we have made has been very beneficial to
this point, but I have been trying to do more research to make sure we are
doing it correctly and am sharing this information with many others, as well.
My concerns developed because I had looked into the generator sold by
UtopiaSilver.com and it was quite different from the one my mom has. I don't
understand all the engineering and/or chemical details of some of what I have
read, but I am VERY interested in making CS for myself, my family, and several
friends that I have turned on to CS. I would really appreciate any help I
can get. I will be out of town for a few days, but will get back with anyone
that responds to my plea ASAP. Thanks for being there!

CSDowsing (was: Electric Blankets)

1999-12-07 Thread Patricia Santhuff

And one for your aching back g:

If it be Thy Will, may the Powers of Nature converge to bring in beneficial
energies specificlly to bring healing and balance to my lower back and to my
complete being. May these energies be beneficial to all of life, for now and
into the future, for as long as is appropriate. Amen.

It's a fine little book loaded with fascinating information. And dowsing
(and its sister, kinesiology) is a really fine tool -- i recommend it
heartily. These comments barely scratch the surface. You can dowse (or use
kinesiology) for your own health issues, for which vitamins to take and how
much, CS dosage, food (you can use Joey's prayer on food, or to minimize the
effects of microwaving your dinner) -- the applications are literally
endless, and more are being developed all the time.

Oh, another thing I wanted to mention. There are hundreds if not thousands
of experienced dowsers who can relocate underground streams. Very helpful if
your well has gone dry.

The American Society of Dowsers has a website (sorry, don't know it), and
annual membership includes a quarterly journal. Very worthwhile.

I would heartily encourage anyone who finds this info intriguing to check it
out, if you're not already familiar with dowsing.

I'm glad I had the occasion to pull Joey's book out -- I think it's time to
re-read it, and do a little more with my own dowsing. Thanks for the thread.

CSWarts -- two comments

1999-11-10 Thread Patricia Santhuff
I am hoping someone on the list can address this more authoritatively, but
in the meantime --
I had plantar's warts on my foot at one time. They seemed to thrive on
abuse. Freezing (done by an md)...cutting...burning with strong H2O2
all just made them grow fatter and happier. Then I took milk thistle,
for something else entirely, and they started disapppearing so fast you
could almost watch it happening.

Skin problems of all sorts are commonly considered to be a result of liver
problems -- stagnation, toxicity, whatever. Milk Thistle is, of course, a
specific for healing the liver. My guess is -- the milk thistle worked!! g

I had a bad reaction to the milk thistle and stopped taking it, but they
were already substantially reduced. And then one day I realized they were
gone completely...possibly from something else I too internally.

Are you sure that your *bad reaction* to the milk thistle wasn't simply a
healing crisis from the herb doing its work? Do you know what caused it,
exactly? A healing crisis would not be out of the question. And, while I've
never had a chance to see it in action myself (or notice it definitively,
perhaps), various alternative healing folks say that when we heal, we cycle
back through our previous problems one by one, most recent first.

I was just going to write in to the list for suggestions and here you
are already discussing it. Well, doesn't sound like cs is very helpful,

Excuse me?

I'm the one who started this thread, specifically because I was so delighted
with CS for my wart which had NOT yielded to my favorite herbal wart remedy
nor surgical removal. It's disappearing at record speed under a simple
several times daily CS bath. Of course, there are a few others who've
reported not such great success. It's you're choice, and your wart, of
course, but if I had a bottle of home-brewed CS handy and a wart I'd like to
see gone, I'd give it a try. Mine is (or should be) 20 ppm CS.

Of course, in your case I personally might go back to the milk thistle since
that worked so well -- depending on whether or not I truly did have an
allergic (or whatever) reaction or the stuff was just working a little too
well (in which case I'd cut back dosage, go off for a time, something to
moderate the effect a little).

CS and Warts

1999-11-05 Thread Patricia Santhuff
Well, CS-listers, here I am again. Just as behind in my CS digests as
before. Actually, more so. But I just had to share my experience. Last time
I checked in I noted a post from someone about using 50 - 50 aloe vera + CS
topically for warts. I hadn't thought of CS for warts, even tho I know warts
are said to be viral.

Anyway, I tried CS alone (since I don't have any aloe vera gel or juice on
hand and haven't been out anywhere to get any) on a particularly nasty and
all too visible wart I have. Within days, it's fading dramatically. This is
especially wonderful not JUST because it's embarrassing, but also because I
had this wart surgically removed a year ago (obviously not completely
removed), and because it had not succumbed to my favorite herbal remedy for
warts (T-WRT by Dial Herbs). I'm thrilled. It's not totally gone yet, but I
couldn't wait to share my glee (and thanks to whoever it was that posted
that message).

I'll share a tip, and ask if there are any other tips people could share
about this issue. It's been frustrating to me to try to use CS for topical
applications. It's so water-y it doesn't stay put. I'd been concerned (need
I be??) about combining CS with anything -- like creams or ointments which
might help it stay put.

Cotton balls are cumbersome and seem to dry out, gauze dries out, etc. The
aloe vera juice or gel idea may be a good way to keep CS *put* in one place
for a while, but I've found another -- use small cosmetic pads used as
facial cleansers. They seem to hold the liquid very well. I've been cutting
very small squares and using a plain bandaid to anchor the small piece of
cosmetic pad where I want it. Periodically, I use a small eye dropper to
slip under the bandaid and re-wet the piece of cosmetic pad. This keeps the
area as continuously wet as I can stand.

Any other ideas or more or less continuous topical applications?

Thanks to all --

Patricia S.

Re: CS injections

1999-09-29 Thread Patricia Santhuff

Is it safe to inject CS into the blood stream via IM or SQ injection?
I'm not speaking for myself, I can take it orally. I'm speaking on
behalf of my animals. I find it difficult to get a dog to take a
therapeutic dose orally, let alone a 800lb steer.(Cattle) I'm just
curious. If it is safe does anyone know the proper dose ml/cc per lb of
  body weight at ?? ppm.

I certainly can't speak to the issue of cattle, but we picked up a little
device called an oral syringe at the local pharmacy the other day, and it
was just the ticket for squirting some CS in our dog's mouth. Oh, he didn't
much LIKE it (probably because it was a bit of a surprise), but it did the
trick.

or more confusing and oblique?), assumed I'd used the wrong list address.

Please accept my apologies.

CS Generator Source --??

1999-07-27 Thread Patricia J. Santhuff
Hi, folks.

Need a bit of help. I am HOPELESSLY behind reading my Digest Version of the
CS list, so finding the resource I'm looking for would take me hours.

I remember seeing someone with a sig line consisting of an URL and the
phrase (or similar), home of the $49 colloidal silver generator. Would
that person email me (including the URL) -- I have a friend who is not
on-line would like to purchase one (that is, does NOT want to make one).

I delivered a pint of my own CS to her this afternoon -- she's got some
nasty virus that she's been struggling with for a while now. I am hoping
it'll do for her what it did for me and my families when we had nasty colds
-- that is, knock them out within 24 hours by taking a swig 10 or 20 ppm
every time we thought of it.

Thanks.
