CS>Re: 'Ole Bob's Colloidal Silver Book

2011-07-14 Thread julie martin

my memory is that when Ole Bob died, his wife did give permission to allow the
book to be shared with the Silverlist. i believed Wayne had a copy saved on
his website, but i have not been able to locate it there this morning.
Marshall or Ode may remember where the file is located so that all can go read
and save it to their computer.

any one else remember this?

Re: CS>mixing cayenne and turmeric

2011-07-02 Thread julie martin
Debbie,  i use cayenne tincture.   for what it is worth, this is what i do.
start out with a regular cayenne tincture (as Dr Christopher's hot is much
stronger) and just add a drop or two to a large volume of tea or lemon water if
you prefer.  then as you become accustomed, increase the cayenne slowly.   i
treat myself to a 44 oz tea with lemon every afternoon.  i sweeten with stevia
and add a dropper-full of Dr Christopher's hot cayenne tincture.  if i don't
have the cayenne i don't enjoy the tea at all.  i also use the same in my night
time quart of herbal tea and  my morning quart of msm and lemon water.  i used
cayenne tincture at home when i had a heart attack about 5 years ago and i have
also used it to control bleeding on cuts.  it is really good stuff, but you may
have to start slow.  i also strongly  believe with cayenne, it needs to be in
the mouth to warn the stomach it is coming so as to avoid discomfort.julie m

Hi folks...I have been trying to drink a touch of cayenne pepper with ACV and
the pepper burns on the way down.  I have some turmeric capsules and was
wondering if opening the capsules and putting a little of the cayenne in them
would be a problem? Would it be bad to have the two in one capsule?
Thanks for your help in advance,

i use baking soda to clean glass jars. i wash and rinse very well, sprinkle
baking soda in both the jar and the lid then let them set for several days.
rinse very well and IF there is any remaining odor i repeat the above process.
this has always worked well for me.

Re: CS>circulation problems

2009-12-02 Thread julie martin
Ted,
Frank and Renee both gave excellent suggestions. since my heart attack i
use cayenne tincture several times a day. i add a dropperful to my iced tea and
to my morning and evening lemon water. i have learned to enjoy the taste and
miss it when i don't have it with me. i carry cayenne tincture instead of
nitro. i made my own tincture, but could never get it hot enough even when i
added habanero. (i am open to suggestions here) i purchase Dr Christopher's
Hot Cayenne from the health food store.
i was also told to keep the circulation system clear men should take the
juice of 4 lemons a day and women should take 3 a day. you may wish to look at
your diet and avoid hydrogenated oils and processed carbohydrates.

Kathy,
i used CS when my youngest was an infant and developed an upper respiratory
infection so as to avoid traditional antibiotics. if memory serves, i used
about one teaspoon every 3-4 hours (she was very tiny.) i used my intuition
and suggest you do the same. i also gave probiotics away from the CS all night

strong gut flora increases the immune system.

CS>Toenail fungus

2009-11-03 Thread julie martin

i have heard David Wolfe say that the
fungus does not live only in the nail.  he reports that
it enters the second joint below the nail.  he has
suggested that one would need to paint the toe (or finger)
from the tip of the nail all the way down, up to and
including the second joint below the affected nail with #1.
tincture of Pau d' Arco followed immediately by #2.
DMSO.  one would then wait until the area is completely
dry before donning socks or shoes.  this experiment
should continue until the new nail has grown in as any
remaining fungus can re- root and re- enter the nail.

i have heard one person report that after trying many
things for years this method did in fact work.  i began
the protocol, but did not complete it and noticed that the
old nail does at least sometimes pull away from the
toe.  this was not painful and i found a small new nail
 growing in it's place.

interesting... only today i was trying to find
information for Magnesium Proteinate. the information
i found stated it is " More Protective than Magnesium

i have only used magnesium citrate and am curious if
anyone else has used this form and what differing
effects it may have.

MA,
as a former cattery owner, i can assure you that
cs did not kill the kits. i have used cs both in
place of water 100% and with a nebulizer on both cats
and kits. i have also used it with my children from
newborn to big kids. drink it or nebulize with it,
none died from cs. if a kit has a uri they can go
down very quickly, sometimes in a matter of hours. do
not let this experience cause any fear or guilt.
sometimes kits just die and i have seen cs work when a
vet and his meds could not.

no, it apparently has both cayenne and habanero. i

habanero."

Re: CS>Tabasco peppers...

2006-09-09 Thread julie martin
i recently purchased a new bottle of cayenne
extract. this time i found "Dr Christopher's original
formula hot cayenne." it still uses grain alcohol and
includes habanero pepper (200,000 hu). i have read
that habanero can be used instead of the cayenne. i
understand it can be purchased at Teeter Creek herbs
if requested.
i do not think tobasco pepper would be hot enough
and would not rely on their use in the case of a heart
attack unless i had no choice. many people keep
cayenne pepper (powdered) in their spice cabinet. it
is not expensive and can be found in the local grocery
or fresher, higher hu can be found in the herb shops
or Whole Foods markets.
many people also keep an emergency first aid kit in
their homes and cars. it would be simple enough to
purchase a bottle of the extract to keep to include in
this kit so one would find it easily in an emergency.
these one ounce bottles cost $10 - $14.

Re: CS>AG Deodorant-Lavilin

2006-09-01 Thread julie martin
i go to the local Wal Mart pharmacy area. they have
a black and white tube "generic" in appearance which
costs less than $2.00. it is usually found on a top
shelf almost out of sight. i was on a trip (don't
remember where) and had forgotten my tube so i stopped
in at the local store, couldn't find it on the shelf
and i asked the pharmacy, they produced a one pound
jar (from behind the counter) - brand name Rugby. i
bought it over a year ago and think it cost about
$5.00. i still have over half the jar left. and it
too will last 2-3 weeks for me in the cooler months,
but i live in Texas where temps are regularly over 100
and i spend lot of time working outside so it lasts a
little more than a week. it goes on white and dries
clear.
i think diet makes a big difference in body odors
and when i eat a lot of onion or garlic i often add
chlorophyll to my drinking water.

Re: CS>AG Deodorant

2006-09-01 Thread julie martin
our family uses zinc oxide ointment in place of
commercial deodorants. after a shower we dry, spritz
with cs and then apply a thin layer of the zinc. this
lasts me about a week, but dh must reapply more
frequently. it will continue working for days even
with daily showers, but shaving will remove it. this
allows the body to continue to perspire, but
apparently keeps the bacteria that causes odors away.
i believe i read about this from H. Clark. it costs
pennies and is healthier than commercial brands of
deodorant.

RE: CS>Cayenne

Ed,
i don't imagine that the vinegar instead of alcohol
would make much difference, except vinegar would be
healthier. i use liquid cayenne when i am having
angina (for fast relief) and especially when i am away
from home for the convenience. share how the extract
can be made and i will give it a try.
i would not think it would be too much trouble to
shake the bottle before dispensing a cayenne extract.

the idea of kombucha tea with cayenne sounds
interesting.
i once got cayenne in my eye while driving. it was
uncomfortable and my eye watered for quite a while. i
can't imagine being sprayed in both eyes. i understand
that the product Eye Brite? contains cayenne and is
suggested for frequent use. perhaps it is diluted
significantly.

Mike,
i used tincture on my tongue straight the first
time, maybe as much as one dropper full. i waited a
minute or so, perhaps it was only seconds, noted that
i felt some relief then added the tincture to a small
amount of room temp water and repeated until i felt
significantly better. i don't know if i really needed
to repeat the dose as much as i did, but it was a
frightening experience and in the beginning i was not
sure what was going on. i have to say i was grateful
that i had cayenne on hand and that i had read the
information years before. i currently take 3 droppers
full every night in about a cup of room temp water
before retiring. i have never shared this information
with my cardiologist who still cannot understand how i
avoided the er.

CS>Re: nanobacteria

2005-11-09 Thread Julie Martin

fellow health seekers,
yesterday i watched a health program discussing the book mentioned here:
http://www.calcify.com/index.shtml and in further research found this site:
http://www.noaw.com/Nanobacteria/nanobacteria.htm which discuss:
A nanoparticle that makes otherwise good calcium go bad in the body has been
discovered in many incurable diseases. (heart disease, kidney stones,
arthritis, etc.) The invader is so small that it challenges the definition of
life. It uses a calcified shell to form toxic deposits in the body.
as i understand the authors they state that diagnosis is made by a simple
blood test and treatment consists of Tetracycline and EDTA. my question for
any who may have done research in this subject: would EIS and other forms of
chelation therapy address this issue?
thanks,
julie m
