So, in the list rules I wrote the following: Any Colloidal Silver related topic or question may be raised and discussed until it is obviously exhausted. Alternative health related topics NOT related to Colloidal Silver will be ended or taken off list as soon as basic information is given and important resources identified. ... RE: CSgreat results this weekend with CS
To which I say, what doesn't. Seriously though it would probably be very difficult to ascertain the exact load on the kidneys and I highly doubt a natural compound such as colloidal silver will have the detrimental effects to the same extent as many of the drugs on the market today, if any at all. I regularly go for liver/kidney tests and I will see if my next one is much different than the previous ones as I've been taking colloidal silver on a daily basis for about a year. the test may not be totally conclusive as I'm also on neurontin and baclofin two drugs that are very hard on the kidneys. However, it will allow for a baseline.IMHO Kent -Original Message- From: Ernie Patai [mailto:epa...@sympatico.ca] Sent: Wednesday, June 22, 2005 10:36 AM To: silver-list@eskimo.com Subject: RE: CSgreat results this weekend with CS I have a question and a concern to the group regarding the consumption and side effects of CS if any. I wanted to share some interesting results I had with colloidal silver this past weekend. Firstly, I noticed last midweek my neck beginning to hurt and my right gland was swollen. I was thinking, oh crap, strep throat. So I got out the CS maker and made a batch. I usually don't take CS daily. Only when I feel somethings not right. This time I knew CS was what I needed. Also, I brewed it a bit different than usual. Instead of the 4 batteries, I used two and used a 2 liter sun tea jar full of distilled water. I also made one electrode much longer than the other electrode. The longer one I hooked up to the positive part of the batteries. The smaller electrode I hooked up to the negative part. I then sat it on a hot plate with a timer so it would turn off and on occasionally to move the water around. Then I let it go all night, at least 10 hours. What I got was a clear solution with hardly any 'whiskers' on the negative hooked electrode. But boy did it taste strong. Also, hardly any tyndall. mo.com -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. The methodology employed in these experiments included the following protocol: Using a very fine particle nebulizer, a 25 psi to 35 psi, regulated O2 supply as the gas drive and a colloidal silver mixture compounded as follows: Starting with 8 ounces of 10 ppm colloidal silver (warmed to approx. 105 degrees F.) dissolve MSM in this solution to the point of saturation (until no more will go into solution); next add 20 per cent by volume of DMSO to the parent mixture. I mention this because I did read the interesting attack on Pasteur posted on the the Matrixcide web site. The author of this sometimes highly intemperate essay at times clearly advocates physical violence against MD's involved in vaccination programs. The author unambiguously advocates shooting them. This is not a mere rhetorical device or hyperbolic outburst; the author evidently is quite sincere in advocating the deaths of those who would impose vaccination. He makes this statement several times in the essay. I note that the author of the essay is NOT the person running the web site. Nevertheless, it seems to me that a person who posts such advocacy without taking the trouble to distance himself from such comments runs the risk of being seen as a potential source of violence himself. Further, I know that experts in bioterrorism are extremely worried about public hysteria in the event of an epidemic/pandemic, and worry about necessary measures for quarantining those whose refusal to follow epidemiological guidelines might imperil others. This whole issue is a can of ugly, writhing, toxic snakes, and even the best people in the field can come to differing conclusions about the proper course of action in an emergency. The point here is simple, though: if I were among these folks, essays advocating the murder of doctors would make me very worried indeed. I would want law enforcement people to keep an eye on those advocating such actions. In summary, I think that the misdeeds of doctors, politicians, and anyone doing wrong need to be exposed. However, those who advocate violence are very likely to do great harm to their own cause, and to bring unwanted attention to themselves and others associated with them. Thanks Dave well said - Original Message - From: Dan Nave na...@comcast.net To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Sunday, March 06, 2005 4:26 PM Subject: CSOpen letter to the Silver List Follow the Money is an oft quoted phrase generally used on the Silver List to discredit the motivations of someone who may have a monetary interest in a product or service. However, money is not the only motivation for, or means of gratification of, self interest. There are other payoffs. Perhaps a better phrase would be Follow the Payoff. Are all Doctors evil? Do they cynically treat you, without any regard for your welfare, in order to buy another car or take another vacation? Does the fact that someone gets paid for their services mean that they are mercenary prostitutes? Does the fact that someone gives you something without asking for money in return mean that they have pure motives, what they give is pure, is The Truth, that there is no bias or ulterior motive or payoff? The answer is, of course not! Mike, the Silver List is being used constantly, against the spirit of the guidelines, to promote a political philosophy, which is presented as an article of faith, religiously, evangelically, and fanatically, complete with jargon and dogmas. It is being used constantly to advertise a product and an agenda; John Rigby's product and agenda, Matrixide. Matrixide is an anti-establishment political philosophy. I was not sure whether to call it a political philosophy or a religion, but I think that it acts mostly like a political philosophy presented in an evangelical, almost fanatical, fashion with a true religious fervor. There are some health messages which can be useful and helpful, although these are difficult to find in an unadulterated form, but these are secondary to the primary message which is an attack on Doctors, Politicians, and the System. While this may be valid from a certain point of view, it is actually a soul-destroying, victim based philosophy that, instead of leading to freedom, leads to another sort of enslavement. The only difference is that you will be enslaved with John Rigby and his crowd rather than with George Bush and his crowd. Best get out from under this sort of mental/emotional enslavement. Paranoia does not lead to health. Healthy living and healthy thinking leads to health. Ranting, raving, hatred, cynicism, vilification, boasting, posturing, jargon, and self aggrandizement does not lead to health. If you want to eat a healthy diet, go ahead and eat a healthy diet! Yes, it takes some re-education, and that is unfortunate, but most of the food is still there. Even most supplements are necessary only to compensate for bad diet. Granted, you may not find certain things easily like raw unpasturized milk, but this has not been done in a conspiratorial way to try to try to make you unhealthy so you become a paying slave to the unholy health industry and die early as a method of stealth birth control. Rather, it is an attempt, however misguided or ignorant, to regulate a product for the public welfare, to reduce disease, not to make you sick. The attempt to simplify the way this is talked about, to use jargon, to create a dogma, is, in itself, sick. Sick. I say again, sick. I am no longer willing to immerse myself in this unwholesome current of energy and, therefore, I probably won't be on the Silver List much longer. How about you? Re: CS
I have personally used acticoat, it is how I realized just how awesome the power of silver can be. I've had a few pressure sores that were treated with acticoat and they healed much quicker than with any other dressing. But we all know the value of silver here, just another positive on silver's résumé. Kent - Original Message - From: bbanever To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Tuesday, February 01, 2005 6:24 AM Subject: CS Could a dressing help in superbug fight? By Nick Triggle BBC News health reporter An Austrian doctor believes a dressing containing silver can virtually eradicate the cross infection of MRSA in hospitals. But can this dressing, which is already used in the UK to treat burns victims, really have an impact on the NHS, where the so-called superbug is wreaking havoc? A simple dressing would seem little use in the fight against the superbug which is sweeping across Britain's hospital wards and operating theatres. After all, hospital-acquired infections, such as MRSA, kill 5,000 a year and cost the NHS £1bn. But a dressing, laced with silver, may well prove the best weapon in the fight against MRSA (methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus), according to an Austrian expert. For more than a year Professor Robert Strohal, associate professor of dermatology at the Federal Academic Hospital in Feldkirch, studied the effectiveness of a silver-impregnated dressing, called Acticoat, at two hospitals. Death Wounds infected with MRSA were covered with the dressing, which works by releasing silver ions into the wound for up to seven days, ridding the patient of the infection. He found that in 95% of the tests, which were performed on patients for three days after applying the dressing, the infection had not escaped. What is more, the dressing had helped to reduce the level of infections in two-thirds of cases - particularly important as MRSA is extremely resistant to treatment by antibiotics. The full findings are expected to be published in a leading medical journal in the next few months. If these dressings were used as standard, as I think they should be, they would save lives Tony Field Prof Strohal said: I was shocked by the results. I never expected them to be that effective. The dressing does not allow the infection to escape, which means any nurses and doctors that come into contact with the patient do not then get the bug and pass it on to other patients. This could have a dramatic effect if it was adopted as standard practice in countries like the UK and US where MRSA is a real problem. The levels of MRSA infection in Austria are half those in the UK. Prof Strohal believes that is down to a combination of cleaner hospitals and the use of the dressings, which have been used as standard practice for treating wounds infected with MRSA for the last couple of years. Treatment There are no official figures for how widely used silver-backed dressings are for UK MRSA patients. However, doctors and nurses BBC News spoke to said they were far from common. The NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency says £10m of silver dressings are bought each year for the health service - but the overwhelming majority go on treating burn and skin graft patients or to GPs, often for people with diabetes. The hospital infection rapid review panel, set up a year ago by the Department of Health (DoH) and the Health Protection Agency to make recommendations to the NHS about infection control, has not considered the dressing yet. However, a DoH spokesman said it was certainly something that could be looked at in the future. In December, the panel recommended the use of silver hydrogel catheters to reduce infections. They are beginning to become routine in hospitals across the country following the advice. But Professor Strohal urged the UK government to act straight away on the dressing. He said while the dressing was more expensive than standard products - by about 50% - it would more than pay for itself by slashing the bill for treating infected people. It is obvious if the UK started using them, it would prove cost-effective, so much is spent each year on the bug. We need to investigate this further, but it is possible the dressings will mean there is no need to isolate patients anymore - that would be another huge cost saving. Professor Strohal is now working towards setting up a pan-European study in an attempt to get the dressing included in European guidelines. At the moment all the recommendations are to do with general management of MRSA, hand-washing, isolation, disposal of aprons; there is nothing to deal with the bug at site, in the wound. Infected Health professionals in the UK also believe it is worth considering

However, I forgot to tell Doc about the diarrhea and it's been 3 weeks now. My problem is that Luke shows NO OTHER clinical signs of illness. RE: CSFiltering CS
I get the same rust colored stains on a measuring cup that I use. After I have finished brewing my CS I strain it using a coffee filter. The container I pour it into has a chip in the glass (this is the measuring cup) and I have noticed a rust coloration forming in the uneven surface of the chip. I am also getting this rust coloration on an eye dropper I use to snort CS with when I get a sinus infection. This is the same rust color that my used coffee filter/strainer gets if I leave laying out for a day or so. I don't know what is causing this but it has something to do with the CS. -Original Message- From: Josephine [mailto:joseph...@poidogs.com] Sent: Saturday, December 29, 2001 11:08 AM To: silver-list@eskimo.com Subject: Re: CSFiltering CS Talking about filtering CS, I bought the unbleached coffee filters, the Melitta brand. When I used them to filter my CS, the CS got darker yellow in color. This happened several times so I stopped using those coffee filters as I then figured that the filters are not really unbleached but maybe colored brown to look unbleached and perhaps the coloring is leaching into the CS. It was then suggested by the manufacturer of my CS generator that I could use white cotton handkerchiefs to filter the CS. So now I am using cotton hankies. However, I am noticing that whenever I rinse out the hankies and hang them to dry, I notice a rust colored stain develops on the part that was in contact with the CS. Now I am wondering where this rust color is originating from. The manufacturer has no explanation for the rust color and says that the silver strips being used for the electrodes are 99.9 silver. Any way of testing the electrodes for purity? Also, I am beginning to wonder if the rust is coming from the metal covers that I am using for the quart size mason jars that I use to make and store the CS. Any ideas or comments on this subject is appreciated. Thanks, Josephine . Terry replies: Leo, no filter that I have ever heard of can filter out particles of anything as small as CS (unless your CS is dark brown). . __ Send your holiday cheer with http://greetings.yahoo.ca -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. CScs and stabilized oxygen
Here's a question for all of you: Do cs and stabilized oxygen products do many of the same things when it comes to bacteria, viruses and fungi in the body? I have read that supplemental oxygen is supposed to kill fungus. What about bacteria and viruses? CScs questions
I am in the process of learning about CS. What are some generators that make high quality CS? Does anyone recommend CS Pro generators (by Dr. Bruce Marx)? What about the claim by those who sell mesosilver or Advanced Colloidal Silver that silver ions are worthless when ingested because they turn into silver chloride which doesn't do anything beneficial? Are only silver particles beneficial? Thanks Kent __ Do You Yahoo!? Find the one for you at Yahoo! RE: CSDoes CS help for Mononucleosis
I had mono 2 years ago, actually I had it 2 years in a row around February. I went to my MD and got the usual, Nothing we can do about it, it's a virus, you know. routine. After laying around the house for about 4 weeks (the 2nd time I had it ... and yes you can get mono as often as you'd like!) I started feeling a little better. Then about 3 months later I started back sliding so I started going to the MD, got irritated, went to a different MD, and then another . I even had one tell me I should start doing aerobics . jeee Finally, I bought some CS and started drinking about 3 to 4oz per day. Within 10 days I was feeling like my old self again and have not had a return of any of those symptoms. I felt pretty miserable for nearly 2 years so I am not one to believe that it was a coincidence that the mono went away within 10 days of starting taking CS. I opened a bottle of CS that I had made about 1 month ago and poured it into a clear glass beaker (why I did that is not important) and it had a very pale pink color to it. It was clear to very, very pale yellow when I made it. Can anyone tell me why this is pink?
