CSan eye-opening movie

2007-07-22 Thread kent
Hi all,

I came across this movie last night and found it to be both eye-opening
and frightening. I know it’s off topic(sorry Mike) and I will not
mention it again. In my defense there is a part about cafta and vitamin
supplement usage or ability to obtain in around the 70 minute mark of
the movie

I am posting this link for anyone who would like to check it out.

(please post any comments in the off topic section) I am merely placing
a link to a movie about how America possibly operates.

The movie is called America: from Freedom to Fascism

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I'm especially
interest in the salt lamps, too. I'm using 3 ionizers
in the house now, but I turned them all off because
Garnet said the ozone was dangerous.

Later this month, I will try to get a nebulizer and
some CS/dmso.

However, I still have yet to hear from anyone re my
question about DMSO or MSM source. Is there a best
cheap source to get them from together?

Does the MSM have to be pharmaceutical grade or
something, since it's going to very sensitive lungs of
my little 2 and 1/2 year old Sophia?

Ahh, Kent, let me put your mind at ease!

I long ago realized that we're going to get perfectly reasonable health
questions where the answers won't have much to do with CS, *BUT* they
will really help people. So, in the list rules I wrote the following:

Any Colloidal Silver related topic or question may be raised and
discussed until it is obviously exhausted. Any alternative health-
related question may be asked, and answers may be given regardless of
whether they are related to Colloidal Silver or not. HOWEVER...

Alternative health related topics NOT related to Colloidal Silver will
be ended or taken off list as soon as basic information is given and
important resources identified. ...

So I'm absolutely thrilled when somebody can get pointed in the
direction of things that can help them, even if it may not be related
to the main topic of the list. So long as lengthy or detailed
discussions end or migrate over a day or two, any helpful information
is welcome.

Self regulation by you, the list members, is expected and appreciated --
and usually sufficient! grin

For those extended OT discussions, we have, of course, the Silver Off
Topic List at our disposal. See the links in the footer at the bottom
of this and every message from the Silver List!

Feel better now, sir?

To which I say, what doesn't. Seriously though it would probably be
very difficult to ascertain the exact load on the kidneys and I highly
doubt a natural compound such as colloidal silver will have the
detrimental effects to the same extent as many of the drugs on the
market today, if any at all. I regularly go for liver/kidney tests and
I will see if my next one is much different than the previous ones as
I've been taking colloidal silver on a daily basis for about a year.
the test may not be totally conclusive as I'm also on neurontin and
baclofin two drugs that are very hard on the kidneys. However, it will

I have a question and a concern to the group regarding the consumption
and side effects of CS if any.

I was just speaking with my homeopathic doctor keeping her up to date on
my general health and mentioned I had to buy CS machine to help my
sister with her MS.

She strongly suggested that I be careful with long term consumption of
CS internally, meaning a couple months. She has a friend and well
respected naturopathic doctor by the last name Adams who did research
on CS and has found that it causes kidney damage. She has passed this
info along to me not having any conclusive findings herself per say, was
merely told to her by her colleague.

I'd love to hear the opinions and evidence from the group to enlighten
me.
I know many of you have very respected and regarded backgrounds so all

Many thanks.

Hi. I wanted to share some interesting results I had with colloidal
silver this past weekend.

Firstly, I noticed last midweek my neck beginning to hurt and my right
gland was swollen. I was thinking, oh crap, strep throat. So I got out
the CS maker and made a batch. I usually don't take CS daily. Only
when I
feel somethings not right. This time I knew CS was what I needed.
Also, I
brewed it a bit different than usual. Instead of the 4 batteries, I
used
two and used a 2 liter sun tea jar full of distilled water. I also made
one electrode much longer than the other electrode. The longer one I
hooked up to the positive part of the batteries. The smaller electrode
I
hooked up to the negative part. I then sat it on a hot plate with a
timer
so it would turn off and on occasionally to move the water around. Then
I
let it go all night, at least 10 hours. What I got was a clear
solution
with hardly any 'whiskers' on the negative hooked electrode. But boy
did
it taste strong. Also, hardly any tyndall.

also do not filter it. Not sure if this causes any problems but I

Tackling drug-resistant pneumonia with colloidal silver

The procedure outlined here will work on any lung pathogen including
anthrax; In fact, an M.D. in the USA has been using this type of
 procedure
for 10 years and is proposing it for anthrax. Here it is, straight
 from the
 lab:

The original problem manifested as a result of our fruitless search
for
some effective procedure for attacking the bilateral form of those
bacterial pneumonias which have proved non-responsive to all of the
antibiotic protocols. We have evaluated colloidal silver and many
 methods
of its employment. Only one method was ever rapidly effective in an
essentially terminal evaluation. The methodology employed in these
experiments included the following protocol: Using a very fine
particle
nebulizer, a 25 psi to 35 psi, regulated O2 supply as the gas drive
 and a
colloidal silver mixture compounded as follows: Starting with 8 ounces

 of
10 ppm colloidal silver (warmed to approx. 105 degrees F.) dissolve
 MSM in
this solution to the point of saturation (until no more will go into
solution); next add 20 per cent by volume of DMSO to the parent
 mixture.

The Nuremberg Trials were rigged. Just a couple of issues:

German officials were forced to sign confessions written in English, that
they could not read.

German members of the Board of Directors of I.G. Farben, a socialized
Corporation held to be guild of war crimes were tried and convicted.
American members of the same Board who served at the same time during WWII
were never charged.

Francis Parker Yockey, an American Lawyer, refused to participate in that
travesty of justice, and was eventually imprisoned and died in prison
under

mysterious circumstances.

Further, the Germans tried desperately to avoid the war; it was thrust

fruition.

Generally I steer clear of this kind of controversy, but I have one
comment that I think may be helpful to anyone posting information about
health issues: be sure that any attacks do not invite or advocate
violence.

I mention this because I did read the interesting attack on Pasteur
posted on the the Matrixcide web site. The author of this sometimes
highly intemperate essay at times clearly advocates physical violence
against MD's involved in vaccination programs. The author
unambiguously advocates shooting them. This is not a mere rhetorical
device or hyperbolic outburst; the author evidently is quite sincere
in advocating the deaths of those who would impose vaccination. He
makes this statement several times in the essay.

I note that the author of the essay is NOT the person running the web
site. Nevertheless, it seems to me that a person who posts such
advocacy without taking the trouble to distance himself from such
comments runs the risk of being seen as a potential source of violence
himself. Further, I know that experts in bioterrorism are extremely
worried about public hysteria in the event of an epidemic/pandemic, and
worry about necessary measures for quarantining those whose refusal to
follow epidemiological guidelines might imperil others. This whole
issue is a can of ugly, writhing, toxic snakes, and even the best
people in the field can come to differing conclusions about the proper
course of action in an emergency. The point here is simple, though:
if I were among these folks, essays advocating the murder of doctors
would make me very worried indeed. I would want law enforcement
people to keep an eye on those advocating such actions.

In summary, I think that the misdeeds of doctors, politicians, and
anyone doing wrong need to be exposed. However, those who advocate
violence are very likely to do great harm to their own cause, and to
bring unwanted attention to themselves and others associated with them.

I think Mr. Devour should be aware of this aspect of the web site that
has brought about the controversy.

Follow the Money is an oft quoted phrase generally used on
the Silver List to discredit the motivations of someone who
may have a monetary interest in a product or service.
However, money is not the only motivation for, or means of
gratification of, self interest. There are other payoffs.
Perhaps a better phrase would be Follow the Payoff.

Are all Doctors evil? Do they cynically treat you, without
any regard for your welfare, in order to buy another car or
take another vacation? Does the fact that someone gets paid
for their services mean that they are mercenary prostitutes?
Does the fact that someone gives you something without
asking for money in return mean that they have pure motives,
what they give is pure, is The Truth, that there is no
bias or ulterior motive or payoff?

The answer is, of course not!

Mike, the Silver List is being used constantly, against the
spirit of the guidelines, to promote a political philosophy,
which is presented as an article of faith, religiously,
evangelically, and fanatically, complete with jargon and
dogmas. It is being used constantly to advertise a product
and an agenda; John Rigby's product and agenda, Matrixide.

Matrixide is an anti-establishment political philosophy. I
was not sure whether to call it a political philosophy or a
religion, but I think that it acts mostly like a political
philosophy presented in an evangelical, almost fanatical,
fashion with a true religious fervor.

There are some health messages which can be useful and
helpful, although these are difficult to find in an
unadulterated form, but these are secondary to the primary
message which is an attack on Doctors, Politicians, and the
System.

While this may be valid from a certain point of view, it is
actually a soul-destroying, victim based philosophy that,
instead of leading to freedom, leads to another sort of
enslavement. The only difference is that you will be
enslaved with John Rigby and his crowd rather than with
George Bush and his crowd.

Best get out from under this sort of mental/emotional
enslavement. Paranoia does not lead to health. Healthy
living and healthy thinking leads to health. Ranting,
raving, hatred, cynicism, vilification, boasting, posturing,
jargon, and self aggrandizement does not lead to health.

If you want to eat a healthy diet, go ahead and eat a
healthy diet! Yes, it takes some re-education, and that is
unfortunate, but most of the food is still there. Even most
supplements are necessary only to compensate for bad diet.
Granted, you may not find certain things easily like raw
unpasturized milk, but this has not been done in a
conspiratorial way to try to try to make you unhealthy so
you become a paying slave to the unholy health industry and
die early as a method of stealth birth control. Rather, it
is an attempt, however misguided or ignorant, to regulate a
product for the public welfare, to reduce disease, not to
make you sick.

The attempt to simplify the way this is talked about, to use
jargon, to create a dogma, is, in itself, sick. Sick. I
say again, sick.

I am no longer willing to immerse myself in this unwholesome
current of energy and, therefore, I probably won't be on the
Silver List much longer.

How about you?

Hi Himagain and Group,

Just thought to add my .02 in. I use about 1:10 ratio of 3% H202 (35%
Food Grade diluted with DW to 3%) in my Waterpik at least once a week -- 90%
H2o2 to 10% water. Not only do I no longer have cavities, my teeth are really
white, and my gums are returning to normals after beginning to recede. I also
use CS whenever I bite the side of my gums or my tongue, or if I burn my gums
or tongue with something hot (hot food or beverage). I carry one squirt bottle
of H2o2 and one squirt bottle of CS with me wherever I go. I make my own CS
and I buy my 35% Food Grade and dilute it to 3%.

I have personally used acticoat, it is how I realized just how awesome the

Could a dressing help in superbug fight?
By Nick Triggle
BBC News health reporter

An Austrian doctor believes a dressing containing silver can virtually
eradicate the cross infection of MRSA in hospitals. But can this
dressing, which is already used in the UK to treat burns victims,
really have an impact on the NHS, where the so-called superbug is
  wreaking havoc?

A simple dressing would seem little use in the fight against the
superbug which is sweeping across Britain's hospital wards and
operating theatres. After all, hospital-acquired infections, such as
MRSA, kill 5,000 a year and cost the NHS £1bn.

But a dressing, laced with silver, may well prove the best weapon in
the fight against MRSA (methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus),
  according to an Austrian expert.

For more than a year Professor Robert Strohal, associate professor of
dermatology at the Federal Academic Hospital in Feldkirch, studied the
effectiveness of a silver-impregnated dressing, called Acticoat, at two
  hospitals.

  Death

Wounds infected with MRSA were covered with the dressing, which works
by releasing silver ions into the wound for up to seven days, ridding
  the patient of the infection.

He found that in 95% of the tests, which were performed on patients for
three days after applying the dressing, the infection had not escaped.

What is more, the dressing had helped to reduce the level of infections
in two-thirds of cases - particularly important as MRSA is extremely
  resistant to treatment by antibiotics.

The full findings are expected to be published in a leading medical
journal in the next few months.

If these dressings were used as standard, as I think they should be,
  they would save lives

  Tony Field

Prof Strohal said: I was shocked by the results. I never expected them
  to be that effective.

The dressing does not allow the infection to escape, which means any
nurses and doctors that come into contact with the patient do not then
get the bug and pass it on to other patients.

This could have a dramatic effect if it was adopted as standard
practice in countries like the UK and US where MRSA is a real problem.

The levels of MRSA infection in Austria are half those in the UK.

Prof Strohal believes that is down to a combination of cleaner
  hospitals
and the use of the dressings, which have been used as standard practice
for treating wounds infected with MRSA for the last couple of years.

  Treatment

There are no official figures for how widely used silver-backed
dressings are for UK MRSA patients. However, doctors and nurses BBC
  News
spoke to said they were far from common.

The NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency says £10m of silver dressings are
bought each year for the health service - but the overwhelming majority
go on treating burn and skin graft patients or to GPs, often for people
  with diabetes.

The hospital infection rapid review panel, set up a year ago by the
Department of Health (DoH) and the Health Protection Agency to make
recommendations to the NHS about infection control, has not considered
  the dressing yet.

However, a DoH spokesman said it was certainly something that could be
  looked at in the future.

In December, the panel recommended the use of silver hydrogel catheters
  to reduce infections.

They are beginning to become routine in hospitals across the country
  following the advice.

But Professor Strohal urged the UK government to act straight away on
  the dressing.

He said while the dressing was more expensive than standard products -
by about 50% - it would more than pay for itself by slashing the bill
  for treating infected people.

It is obvious if the UK started using them, it would prove
cost-effective, so much is spent each year on the bug.

We need to investigate this further, but it is possible the dressings
will mean there is no need to isolate patients anymore - that would be
  another huge cost saving.

Professor Strohal is now working towards setting up a pan-European
  study
in an attempt to get the dressing included in European guidelines.

At the moment all the recommendations are to do with general
  management
of MRSA, hand-washing, isolation, disposal of aprons; there is nothing
to deal with the bug at site, in the wound.

  Infected

Health professionals in the UK also believe it is worth considering

  Denise,

When I go ice cold from paralytic polio it is classically called 'brown out'.
All along my spine and deep within to the core of me is ice cold like touching
ice in the freezer. It physical reality terms it means I am loosing brain and
central nervous system cells that allopathic medicine indicates can never be
regained. Also my meridians are closed down and some brain connections are
compromised. I use BodyTalk to reactive them. It's very hard on the body and
takes time to regain some of the lost information. Energy levels remain low
for weeks. BT is the only relief I have found. Food and water help
marginally, as does a hot bath each hour, but when the core is shutting down,
it's time for bigger guns - contacting the innate wisdom within and seeing if

Not sure if I've ever introduced myselfI'm Denise, from Saskatoon,

learn all I can about CS - and WOW! I have learned lots!

I'm needing to pick your collective brains, please..I apologize for this
being a tad lengthy but I am hoping that someone might possibly be able to
provide a light at the end of the tunnel for me!

A bit of 'background' infoI have a number of auto-immune disorders - type
II diabetes (since resolved following biliopancreatic diversion/duodenal switch
in April 04), chronic obstructive sleep apnea (resolved as a result of BPD/DS
surgery and a subsequent loss of 65#s to date), Graves Disease (dx Jan 1998)
and I have been on eltroxin since Aug 1998.

I suffered from cold feet (internal core cold NOT cold to touch) in 1998
after the radioactive isotope drink to deal with my overactive thyroid; this
symptom went away when my thyroid counts were better under control. I have
again been living with 'core cold feet' since my BPD/DS surgery...I have seen a
surgeon (my primary caregiver wanted to rule out circulatory problems), I
have seen an endocrinologist who advises me that he refuses to adjust my
thyroid medication until I have lost all the weight that I can post-surgery. I
have seen a hypnotist in an attempt to learn how to control my internal body
thermometer myselfI refuse to return to this psychiatrist/hypnotist as he
was most insistent that I attend 'group therapy sessions' (3 days/week for 2
hours each time - which would actually be 3 hours each time when you factor in
travel time to and from work).

  Okay - enough 'background'...

I saw my neurologist today (21 Jan 05) about the 'cold feet' that I have been
experiencing since April 04.

After a thorough neurological exam (?), Dr. V gave me a diagnosis of diabetic
neuropathy.! Duh - I was a diabetic for 10 years, the last 4 quite severe
so this was not a surprise diagnosis to me! He dictated his report while I was
sitting in the exam room and I am going to be contacting my family physician
next week to get a copy of this report as there were some 'interesting' words
that I heard him use

I asked him if this 'neuropathy' that I had is also known as 'peripheral'
neuropathyDr. V said that it was a form of peripheral neuropathyagain -
not a surprise to me.

There are a couple of drugs that we discussed as maybe being of
assistanceTopomax (topamax) and Gabapentin...I have a prescription for
gabapentin...

I came home and did a google search for gabapentin and topomaxand I'm not
sure I'm willing to start taking either drug.

Not sure what to do/which direction to go from hereI have kinda hit the
end of the road as far as looking for answersI always figured that the
neurologist would be sort of the last step in this journey and well - now that
I am here - I'm not sure I like it!

I have read with great interest about CS working on a myriad of medical
problems...I am wondering if it (CS) might be able to help me deal with the
problems I am experiencing

I apologize again for the length of my 'story' - but I am almost ready to
have my feet amputated to get rid of the 'cold'and I know that something as
drastic as amputation wouldn't be the answer either'cause then there'd be
the'phantom pain!' to deal with.

  Thank you.

  Hi,

Does a homeopathic doctor know about colloidal silver and how to dose it?

I spent a little extra money to get a silvergen because it seemed to be
highly rated and I hoped/figured it would make consistent, high quality CS.

I am VERY lucky to have a traditional M.D. who is COMPLETELY open to
Alternative medicine. I could go on forever about how wonderful he is.
However, I don't know what he would know about CS.

I have taken Luke to see him somewhere in the middle of all of this diarrhea
but it was for a cough/cold and he assumed it was viral and sent me home and
sure enough, after a couple of doses of H2O2 in the ears, Luke got better.

However, I forgot to tell Doc about the diarrhea and it's been 3 weeks now.
My problem is that Luke shows NO OTHER clinical signs of illness. I do have a
suspicion, however, that it might have something to do with the fact that he is
cutting a molar. All of my kids got bouts of diarrhea whenever they cut
teeth. The only thing unusual about this one is the foul smell and the

Lea Ann, If I may make a suggestion? The best bet is to consult a
homeopathic doctor. You might spend a bit for the consultation but at least you
have a professional opinion. There is a bit more involved when producing your
own stuff.

Just to make sure you are on the right track.

My two cents worth: in Japan the iron Nanbu testsu kettles are revered
for their beneficial health effects. These may have been more
pronounced in previous decades and centuries when anemia was more
likely. I have a nutritionist friend (phD), who believes that in
fact the ferrous minerals from these teapots is bio-available and
beneficial. I suppose, though, that only a blood test would tell

arthritis...they did some preliminary studies...and one person went
blind.

I haven't heard that anyone repeated these studies to find out whether

that

DMSO is primarily a carrier...meaning that whatever you mix into it is
carried into the body. CS + DMSO on the skin means more actually gets
systemic than just CS. If you mix anything that is at all nephrotoxic
(kidney)...it will reach the kidneys in higher concentration than it
would

otherwise. Where it is used as a solvent and people were putting their

I keep my eye peeled for nephrotoxicity (I have only one) and haven't

RE: CSFiltering CS

2001-12-30 Thread Kent and Carol
I get the same rust colored stains on a measuring cup that I use. After I
have finished brewing my CS I strain it using a coffee filter. The container
I pour it into has a chip in the glass (this is the measuring cup) and I
have noticed a rust coloration forming in the uneven surface of the chip.

I am also getting this rust coloration on an eye dropper I use to snort
CS with when I get a sinus infection.

This is the same rust color that my used coffee filter/strainer gets if I
leave laying out for a day or so.

I don't know what is causing this but it has something to do with the CS.

Talking about filtering CS,
I bought the unbleached coffee filters, the Melitta brand.
When I used them to filter my CS, the CS got darker yellow in color.
This happened several times so I stopped using those coffee filters as I
then figured that the filters are not really unbleached but maybe colored
brown to look unbleached and perhaps the coloring is leaching into the CS.
It was then suggested by the manufacturer of my CS generator that I could
use
white cotton handkerchiefs to filter the CS.
So now I am using cotton hankies. However, I am noticing that whenever I
rinse out the hankies and hang them to dry, I notice a rust colored stain
develops on the part that was in contact with the CS.
Now I am wondering where this rust color is originating from. The
manufacturer has no explanation for the rust color and says that the silver
strips being used for the electrodes are 99.9 silver. Any way of testing the
electrodes for purity?
Also, I am beginning to wonder if the rust is coming from the metal covers
that I am using for the quart size mason jars that I use to make and store
the CS.
Any ideas or comments on this subject is appreciated.
Thanks,
Josephine

.

 Terry replies:
Leo, no filter that I have ever heard of can filter
out particles of anything as small as CS (unless your
 CS is dark brown). .

RE: CSDoes CS help for Mononucleosis

2001-05-09 Thread Johnson, Kent
I had mono 2 years ago, actually I had it 2 years in a row around February.
I went to my MD and got the usual, Nothing we can do about it, it's a
virus, you know. routine.

After laying around the house for about 4 weeks (the 2nd time I had it ...
and yes you can get mono as often as you'd like!) I started feeling a little
better. Then about 3 months later I started back sliding so I started going
to the MD, got irritated, went to a different MD, and then another . I
even had one tell me I should start doing aerobics . jeee

Finally, I bought some CS and started drinking about 3 to 4oz per day.
Within 10 days I was feeling like my old self again and have not had a
return of any of those symptoms. I felt pretty miserable for nearly 2 years
so I am not one to believe that it was a coincidence that the mono went away
within 10 days of starting taking CS.

There is also a HUGE disclaimer that employer puts on the bottom of all
