Hi Indi, I was wondering if Nytol would work as well as this is diphenhydramine hydrochloride, but they tell you to take just one. It is 50mgs. Piriton and the non-drowsy one the doc gave him don't work at all. This is supposed to be a sleep aid though, but I don't know if you can get Benedryl in the UK. Thanks again. Dee, is your husband taking any new medications within the last month. Some meds take a few weeks to build up in the system and then can cause a allergic reaction. Prozac is one of them. I suspect the DMSO is not the cause. No Sam, he doesn't take any new medications except for Nurofen for the pain in his knees, (which went when he put on the DMSO) it seems that it is ever since this that he has had the rash. For now I'm doing the topical use of the Brooks Bradley mix more carefully; i.e. shower first, apply, then wait 10 minutes and shower again. Also, I'm using the nasal spray a bit less often -- like 3 times per day. Maybe I was just going too fast... The problem doesn't appear to have been caused by sensitivity to DMSO or glycerine, as far as I can tell, and I'm careful to use only natural laundry products, no fabic softener, and of course only use the double rinse cycle. Someone suggested the godzilla, but with a heart murmer and leaky valve I don't know if that's really such a good idea... I may try a Clark zapper, though. Hi Indi People are experciencing some good results using the Godzilla. A very simple unit to make and very effective. I have used it for several years for all kinds of stuff. some people are allergic to sulfer, also. If it sounds like allergic hives, is it possible it could be the sulfer in the DMSO? On relapses at the beginning of tratment, I suspect herxheimer reaction do to the body being overwhelmed dealing with die-off of pathogens. Straight CS applied topically and internally got this under control for me in the past, so I'm going back to that for now.
