Thank you for your reply
how do you know when the root canal is healed since it is inside the root?

Your only hope is to make or buy a Godzilla device and treat the tooth and root
with this. It will kill the bacteria in the tooth and root but the dentist
won’t be able to tell the difference. Your pain should subside within a few
days or so after treatment. Go to microelectiricitygermkiller group on Yahoo
for schematics on how to make a device. You can make one for under $15. It
simply sends 3 – 6 volts DC current thru the tooth killing the bacteria. I’ve
saved myself a couple of root canals doing this. You can use a flashlight
battery of as little as 1 ½ volts or go up to a 6 volt lantern battery. DO NOT
GO ANY HIGHER… DO NOT USE A NINE VOLT BATTERY … DANGER… TOO STRONG. It isn’t
necessary anyway as a little goes a long way. Good luck.

To the person who asked if a trauma to the head/mouth/face could be
the cause of a tooth injury requiring a root canal.. the answer is ..
oh yes!! I was in an auto accident some years ago and had to have
several root canals because of impact injuries to my mouth/face. I
was NOT a 'purty' sight. I then had gold/porcelain bridges to replace
my front bottom teeth. The dentist capped the tooth just to the
side of my two front teeth with temporary glue in case I had to have a
root canal down the road. He couldn't tell if that tooth was going to
be alright or not. Apparantly the roots of our teeth can go bad some
months or years after experiencing impact trauma. My tooth did
require a root canal a year later and I sure was glad that temporary
glue had been used.

Re: CSRe: root canal

2012-03-12 Thread phoenix23002 tds.net
I honestly don't know what to tell you. The only root canals I have
gotten were due to the auto accident. Back in the day, cars had vents
at the front windows. They suppose that I hit the tip of the vent
when I was thrown out of the car because my upper lip was split up
into my left nostril (I lost the 'v' on my top lip), one front tooth
was knocked out, the other top tooth was broken off 1/2 way and all my
teeth were loosened up and sore.. oh my.. so sore. I couldn't eat
solid foods for weeks because my mouth/teeth hurt so bad.

I was in the hospital for two weeks and when I got out, I made an appt
with my dentist. The poor man almost had a heart attack when I limped
into his office, covered with bandages, demanding that he fix my teeth
(vanity.. thy name is woman). He refused to touch me until my upper
lip was healed. Makes sense, huh? Point being, the accident happened
on July 4th weekend but he couldn't start work on me until the first
of Sept.

During that time, they had me on antibiotics for all the cuts, cement
burns etc. So.. I am surprised that your tooth has gone bad so fast
but, in my case, the antibiotics probably kept the bacteria at bay. I
am real fuzzy on the details but apparently, when a tooth root is
injured, it is in such a confined space that it is difficult to treat
it and a root canal (removing the injured/dead root) is the only
solution. I know people say.. 'don't get a root canal' but.. what is
the alternative? I don't hear any suggestions for that except pulling
the tooth, right?

It would be difficult for cs to penetrate to the root by itself. DMSO
is itself an anti-bacterial, anti-viral substance. DMSO along with cs
would penetrate but I can't be sure that it would be sufficient to
'cure' a dead root. It would probably get rid of the bacteria. Is it
a top tooth or a bottom tooth?

I get my DMSO from http://www.dmso.bz/pages/1/index.htm I don't
have any financial interests in this company. I just like their
product. You could mix DMSO - 50% - with say.. 20% distilled water and
30% cs?
DMSO penetrates everything and carries everything with it. You could
swish it around for five minutes or so 4 - 5 times x day then spit it
out. I take about a tsp to a tbsp internally mixed with distilled
water each day.

Without antibiotics, I just don't know if you have the time to 'mess
around' with the DMSO and see if it helps the situation or is
effective. The hydrogen peroxide won't hurt, for sure but.. none of
it is getting to the root.
I wouldn't use the hydrogen peroxide with DMSO. But it would be fine
with the cs. I read somewhere in somebody's post, that they mixed the
cs and DMSO and just dabbed the mixture on and around their tooth with
a Q-tip.

There is a DMSO site on yahoo.. You might join and see if anyone has
suggestions for you or has had similar situations. I don't think it
matters whether the root is dead because of trauma or infection. If
you decide to order the DMSO from the site I gave you, just email the
owner and tell him your situation and that you need the DMSO yesterday
and see what he can do for you so far as shipping it quick. They
offer a sample 4 oz (I think) bottle of DMSO, no shipping charges, for
$ 15.00.

Keep us posted, ok?Lola

Your only hope is to make or buy a Godzilla device and treat the tooth and
root with this. It will kill the bacteria in the tooth and root but the
dentist won’t be able to tell the difference. Your pain should subside
within a few days or so after treatment. Go to microelectiricitygermkiller
group on Yahoo for schematics on how to make a device. You can make one for
under $15. It simply sends 3 – 6 volts DC current thru the tooth killing
the bacteria. I’ve saved myself a couple of root canals doing this. You
can use a flashlight battery of as little as 1 ½ volts or go up to a 6 volt
lantern battery. DO NOT GO ANY HIGHER… DO NOT USE A NINE VOLT BATTERY…
DANGER… TOO STRONG. It isn’t necessary anyway as a little goes a long way.
Good luck.

Bob

I think that's wishful thinking.  More likely to get help through
microelectricity for somethnig like that.

I think it is not a good idea to get root canal without trying a thing or
two first. Unless there is some emergency. 4 anecdotes of lipo - C curing
tooth pain. I would try that and also CS + DMSO. And also I'd try a
saturated solution of salt + DMSO. Then also I'd try the godzilla
approach.

Hi, Claire,

Can you tell me more about EFT?  Sorry, I have not been able to follow all the
posts.  Do you also have other medical conditions causing your root canal
infection, such as lyme, etc?  Thanks.

In my previous post I forgot to mention that I also used/am using EFT. I'm
certain it is a major component of my success in alleviating this
infection.

2006-09-12 Thread Lisa Shepherd
I believe it has only been a few weeks since i sent a letter in about a root
canal of my own. i wont ever have another. Mine was nothing but pain and
infection for the duration, finally turning into a face swelling experience
that left me in extreme pain and off work for days. Id rather lose a tooth than
risk it again, besides, its a risk to your life to open up that kind of
infection, cosmetics just isnt worth it to me. And in fact I am involved in a
long term, slow, cosmetic process now for teeth even in the front, I presently
have a gap due to that very tooth. Its taken a long time to remove all the bad
teeth to prepare for the plate I'll probably get, and in the meantime, I have
been sick repeatedly, wonder how much it ra my system down while infected.
Its not worth it guys and gals dont do root canals. ANYTHING is better than a
root canal. Good luck, hope you find a satisfactory solution.
 Godspeed all, Lisa.

Hello Ian,

Short answer to your question: If you can't save the tooth any other
way, pull it rather than have a root canal done.

One of the main lessons I learned studying up for my dental revision
with Dr. Huggins' group was that root canal teeth are dead, they harbor
bacteria -- EVERY SINGLE ONE, ALWAYS! -- and will slowly poison you if
you keep them in your mouth. The technique cannot be made to work, no
matter how competent the dentist and no matter what he/she says about
them.

See the work of Weston Price, Hal Huggins for more.

I hope you get some good alternatives to try.

Stay well, and root canal free!
