Jr XP9303 Aero/Sailplane TX, with accessories (4 DX821 servos, R790 scan
select pcm rx, 1500 mah NiMh rx pack, switch harness, and wall wart charger
- all accessories are brand new and have never been used). The radio is the
Sail Plane version and comes with the Sail Plane radio manual, but the
switch layout is the same as the aero version. The software is the same
between the Aero/Sail Plane/Heli version.

The TX is in like new shape. It has been my back-up radio and spent its
short life in a padded transmitter case. I did replace the stock NiCad 800
mah TX battery with a NiMh 2000 mah battery. This battery does not self
discharge like higher capacity NiMh TX packs.

I'm offering the entire kit (TX, RX, servos, etc.) and I will even throw in
another RX with it (your choice R790 or (R770 pcm or R700 ppm on #32) ) for
$375 shipped in Continental US, Paypal preferred.

Re: [RCSE] For Sale - Icon, servos, etc.

2006-09-13 Thread Simon Van Leeuwen

I have reduced the asking price to $1600...

Simon Van Leeuwen wrote:

With a bit of reluctance I am offering a fully built low-time Icon which
employs one of my PnP harnesses. This is in anticipation of a future
purchase of a similar aircraft :^)

Along with the PnP harness this ship utilizes 5125's in the wing and a
5245MG on ELEV. RUDD is actuated by a nice little CS-12MG. I built a
custom 1100mA 5-cell NiCD which fits snugly the nose.

This is one of my more carefully built models, originally aimed at the
2004 worlds. As mentioned, it is very low time, white/red top and red
bottom with white fuselage. It retains the CnC vinyl referring to the
FAI Worlds (pics available upon request). AUW is 2142g, and includes
Don's ingenious ballast system. Asking $1800.00

I also have:

- seven NIB HS5125's for $425
- two Hobbico CS-12MG's for $75
- two S3101 BB's for $80

RE:[RCSE] For Sale, Polk Seeker 2 8 Channel Synth RX's

2006-06-05 Thread Jerry Leach
I beg to differ. I tried to use a Polk 8 on a scale sailplane using a
Vision and had interaction between channels. Of course I was using all
channels. Particular channels were tow release and retract, which were
full throw commands, but the end result was an unusable system. I tried
getting a remedy or at least an explanation from Polk's but they were
not helpful at all.
I assume they work correctly with the current brands and models but I
thought I should convey my experience.

Sorry Gordy- hope it doesn't kill any deals.

If I were to buy any 2m right now it would be the Image, that is a fun
model to fly. I really like mine, it's the first 2m that fits my flying style.

As far as the ICON goes, I have two Lites that are proven contest machines
and a new TD one that is almost already built. Don't worry, they will
still fly and contest very strongly. People aren't talking about them
because they aren't new, but I don't see many used ones up for sale either.

And I have the new Supra as well, it is almost already built and I am
looking forward to learning to fly it and contesting.

Re: [RCSE] For Sale Hitec Digital Servo Programmer...AND it....

2005-11-27 Thread GordySoar

I have one Hitec HFP-10 digital servo programmer and servo
tester. It is like new the only thing on it is dust from not getting
enough use. It programs Hitec servo direction, dead band width, speed,
fail safe position and end point plus several other test and is capable of
reseting Hitec digital servos to factory default. Photos
available $95 shipped to your location. Walt

...And it lets you do some good things with any other servo, digital or
other wize. For instance, you can use it to exercise servos or surface
hinges...by simplyclicking on the cycle mode...any servobrand. You
can use it to center anyservo forinstalls, instead of having to
radioup to get linkage lengths and surfacecenters.

If yourig in asmall amp meter you can checkeach servo's
load while in the plane.
The Hitec is self powered, has a rechargeable battery inside and
anywall bug will charge it.
So if you've been looking forsomething to control your servo's
outside the radio during set up, theHitec works.

If you just want servo cycling, centering, and exercising the servos,
the JR Matchmaker is a little less expensive at $29.95. Also nice if
you are matching two servos on a control surface. Not that common on
most sailplanes, but a possibility on a scale ship or aerotow tug.

RE: [RCSE] For Sale : Airtronics Stylus + AERO card GOOD DEAL

2004-11-08 Thread Ron Kramer
This is a GREAT DEAL, I just purchased one from a club member for 400.00.
(with glider card and 1650bat)

(I can vouch for Barrett too - since I just purchased his 50mem card and it
arrived today.)
This is a GREAT radio, I have two others (6 chan fut and 8 chan futaba) and
this blows them away.
Amazingly it works with all receivers - pos and neg shift (which really
surprised me).

(glider card not needed, it has great features stock without the add on
cards).

Up for sale is my Stylus transmitter. I bought it from a fellow on RCU in
January, 2001. Other than the usual scuffs on the bottom the radio is in
excellent shape.

I've upgraded the TX pack to 1650 mAh, as the stock pack would die after a
couple hours of usage. With the 1650 NIMH pack I can fly all day without
recharging!

Included is a module on channel 18 and a 96801 AERO card.

The original manual is included.

No servos, receivers or chargers are included.

Asking $250 for everything.

I have one of these and I really like it. Great for one person
launch/retrieve.

What is your reserve on the retriever? I always wonder why one doesn't just
set the starting bid at their minimum.

I have several items listed on e-bay but one that might be of particular
interest is a brand new retriever. You can see it and all the other items
at:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemcategory=2563item=3106498856;
rd=1

Click on see sellers other items for a full list. You'll find an Ace
Quasoar, Bowlus Baby, Mantis Slope (no relation to the current Mantis
offerings) and other stuff. I'm starting to clean out my basement so there
will probably be more listed in a week or so.

Because starting the bidding at a lower price often results in a
higher final price than if you just start out at your
minimum acceptable price. I know it sounds silly but it works.

I have to many transmitters and will sell my spare
Vision (8 model memory) with rf module on channel 12
and a spare battery and manual. $300

You would think Airtronics would take a hint when a USED Vision tx
will go for $300.00 and gone right away that a lot of people like the
old units instead of the new one, the Stylus. IMHO, the Stylus is not
a very well design.
