Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 7.9 randomly skips to the next song without finishing the one playing
Hi there, out of nowhere since a couple of day I experience the same issue when using google music plug in. Random songs are not played until the end. LMS skips to the next track approx. 10 to 20 secs. before the end of the current song. I already tried a couple of things which did not help at all: - reinstall of LMS 7.9 - reinstall of Google Music Plugin from github.com/squeezebox-googlemusic/squeezebox-googlemusic - Update of gmusicapi to 10.1.0 I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3 as a server and squeezelite clients on Raspberry Pi B. Any ideas what could be the reason? madattack's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66480 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106233 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

I thought that was the "&" too, but the other CD from the regretted George Michael, "For the Feet" appears normally.21822 See the pic ? I added the first CD "For the Heart", the first track is "ready to play" but is not in the playlist, then I added "For the feet", one can see the list from the second album but the total play time is the 2 albums. I initially thought the same thing as well, but as I said previously, I am certain those files have been there for years. There's no reason I would have added/deleted anything from those specific directories (at least not within the time frame that I started having problems) and I even checked the created/modified dates which are from 2007-ish, so I'm leaning towards something having changed on the server side (possibly something to do with image processing?). I probably could have just fixed/removed those images to keep the plugins enabled, but since I don't use them I was fine with disabling. wliptrot - Did you get to the bottom of this? If you want to see what (if any) files were causing your issues with those plugins enabled, it should show in the server.log file at the completion of a media scan with just the default debugging settings. I did not have to enable any additional logging to see those errors in my log file. rdeckard's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40772 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106710 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

The URL is invalid 2. The device is invalid 3. The filetype wavin is not setup correct The first two look OK - I don't know pulseaudio on Ubuntu 16.10 nor how it is running (e.g. system daemon ) but you should check permissions of user which runs LMS and whether that user can run Pulseaudio stuff. Check WebUI Setting/Advanced filetypes - under wavin what settings are valid. If all above are OK - then nee to do logging. 1. In WebUI Setting/Advanced/logging - set player.source to DEWBUG and click Apply. 2 Note time 3. Try playing the wavin Favorite 4. Assuming it doesn't work - wait 10 secs and note time. 5. From time noted in step 2 until time noted in step 4 copy all entries in server.log file into a text file. zip the text file and attach to a post. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104680 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
