I have seen sites work with other browsers while SM shows a similar error message. Not only is the server sniffing for Firefox when it should instead sniff for Gecko -- if they can justify sniffing at all -- but also the sniffing code crashes when it finds an unrecognized browser. My guess is that the site was designed to work only with IE, I have come across some other sites where this is an issue. You might write their corporate Sales Dept. and ask them if they were intentionally blocking millions of users from accessing their site or if their Web designers failed to inform them that they had done so.
