Well, it took you months to find out where the problems was but finally you did. Good to hear that! :) -- Best regards, Miguel A. I wasn't sure I could when I sent the original message, but with the build up of new mail, whenever the folder is named BAYESIT TB! shuts down, when it is renamed, it works fine and collects the mail. -- Dwight A. Although in preferences/options /antispam, no plugins are identified, there is a folder called BAYESIT in the TB directory. When I gave it a new name, the problem went away. It is working fine, although this has been a long term problem. I found threads I started here on the topic on 21 October 2004, 4 November, 2004, 21 March 2005, and this one. I didn't look for the times when I sent messages confirming I too had the problem when other reported it. The date of the files in the BAYESIT directory is 10/12/04 (OCT 12, not DECEMBER 10) The same directory with the same files is present in my set up here at the office, and it runs fine. Go figure. -- Dwight A. I presuppose it may be a bug because it has been reported by a number of users, including myself. Of course, it may well be something else in my configuration. That is why I keep asking if there is a way to change any of my configuration when the program is not running since it will not run in its current configuration. > I still reckon you're more likely to get help on TBUDL since your > problem is *not* tied to the current beta. It is a problem which continues to occur with the current beta. It is apparently is less than not likely that I will not get any answers either place, since the only person posting just keeps telling me not to ask here, and since about three rounds of asking on TBUDL and similar enquiries by others have not drawn any answers either. -- Dwight A. The lack of useful replies there drove me to pre-betas, and enquiring here. At least here, there is some chance someone it trying to fix something. No one, I assume is making repairs to 3.0.1.33, and no one has ever addressed my question about whether start up settings can be changed when one is not running, so one can experiment about trying to start up. -- Dwight A. Do you have the same problem with 3.0.1.33? If so, I think you would do better seeking help on TBUDL as there are so many issues with the current beta you may not get a useful reply here. -- As ever, .\\artin | ICQ 15893823 "There are no hopeless situations: there are only men who have grown hopeless about them."
