On the "Content" click on the "Certificates" button. Find your Verisign certificate in the list and select it. Now click on the "Export" button. That will start the export Wizard. Hello TBUDL, Today I went to see a friend for who I had created a POP account. In order to use it, he needed an email client as he had only used webmail before. He is not very computer literate and lives in the provinces, so I drove out there today to get it running for him. Of course I recommended TB Pro (as he is using it for his company) and after the huge download that took some 45 minutes (I remember the times when TB would fit on a floppy disk...), I started the MSI install. It hung with an error dialog: Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required [...] is corrupt and cannot be used. Abort / Retry / Ignore Retry just yielded the same error message, so I clicked on Ignore, which caused an "Internal error 2350". I clicked on OK or something, and TB's installer then proceded to go backwards and clean up. I ended up setting up Outlook Expess for him, and it works. Sad thing is, he had already given me his credit card so that I can register TB for him at EUR 45.00 right away. Lost sales for Ritlabs. What is that error? Win XP Pro SP1. -- Thanks, Thomas. You can't attach images on TBUDL. What did it say? RTT> Anyone who has done that successfully? Yes. But it all depends on your IMAP server... and whether you have permissions to create folders. On my server I can create new 'folders' using TB! However, many IMAP servers do not create a folder on the file system but rather a file or mailbox to store the messages. Consequently, some 'folders' cannot store messages (since they don't exist or are simply a folder.) TB! normally identifies these correctly and the folder name is grey not black. Probably best to use an example: A simple folder structure... | +INBOX +Drafts +Sent mail +Trash The corresponding files/folders on the server are: Maildir Maildir/INBOX Maildir/Drafts etc. If I want to create another folder, say 'Junk mail' just right-click on the account name and select New->Folder. Alternatively, use Manage IMAP folder. BTW, use Ctrl-F2 beforehand to make sure you're connected to the server. This will result in a new file on the server: Maildir/Junk mail However, if you try to create a folder in the INBOX it may not work... on my server I can create a new folder, which in turn creates a file called Maildir/INBOX;New folder on the server. IIRC I could not do this with UW-IMAP. Another example... I keep all my mailing lists in a folder called Mailing lists. :-) This folder doesn't really exist though. The folder tree looks like this: +Mailing lists +TBBETA +TBUDL +TBOT etc. ...but on the server I have the following files: Maildir/Mailing lists;TBBETA Maildir/Mailing lists;TBUDL etc. As you can see there's no corresponding mailbox for Mailing lists (which has grey text.) Can anyone write a filter that will remove "any text preceded immediately by a colon plus followed immediately by a colon" from Clive's View Folder window, in which he uses Plain Text View? -- Best regards, Mary :Trill: http://www.PCWize.com/thebat/PCWSmileys.php The Bat! 3.0.2.4 Rush on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.0.1.33 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

These thingies take the form of a colon, some text and another colon, don't they? I can't think of a single sentence written in English that would have two colons following each other like that. I wouldn't have thought it was that difficult to write a rule to identify the format - but what do I know? > This is an old horse, of course, and neither of us wishes to beat it > to death! Howto: Subfolder on IMAP which doesn't support this feature?
Hi TBUDL, I tried to create a subfolder on my IMAP server, that doesn't worked. I got the attached message box, but frankly I don't understand what I should try here. I've disabled smileys and I can (just about) live with the ASCII representation because they've been part of Usenet for so long. What I don't like about the other gizmos is the fact that, apart from the fact they're TB specific, they're longer and more intrusive than smileys. > However, I don't think my skills are up to creating a QT like that, so > if yours aren't up to it either you have to convince somebody else to > write it. What is it that you don't like, the actual text between colons or their graphical representation? The latter can be eliminated by picking the PTV to view your messages or to disable smileys when using the RTV. The colons can be deleted too in your incoming mail in somewhat the same way as headers can be added with a filter as I described in mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] only adaptation to the template should be that you call a recursive QT that looks for colons or text enclosed between colons (whatever you want) and eliminates those in the output. However, I don't think my skills are up to creating a QT like that, so if yours aren't up to it either you have to convince somebody else to write it. Preferably on tbtech, since that's way too technical for tbudl. ;-) (Oops, I used a smiley. Sorry) -- Groetjes, Roelof No one test the depth of a river with both feet.
