Can't you just edit your existing POP/SMTP server details and change them to your new private domain servers details. That way your existing account complete with existing folders will still be used only pointing to your new domain. You may still have to edit the odd filter or two so that they don't filter on your old address. -- Tony. Same problem, I just tried it. The Bat! also looks for a txt file rather than an xml file. PGP9 now works fine with TB! I see what you mean Allie about the whole PGP program popping up just to verify a message. To get PGP9 working with TB! you need to create a text file called PGPprefs.txt In that file needs to be the path to your PGP keyring in this format, each line needs to be on one whole line: PublicKeyringFile="C:\Documents and Settings\Tony\My Documents\PGP\pubring.pkr" PrivateKeyringFile="C:\Documents and Settings\Tony\My Documents\PGP\secring.skr" Edit the paths to your own name obviously. Then save that file to Docs and Settings\Username\Application data\PGP corporation\PGP\PGPprefs.txt RIT Labs need to update the pgp.dll to look for an xml pref file as well as a txt pref file. The Bat! doesn't yet handle IMAP the way it should but that's not the point. Mulberry handle IMAP to the very letter of any RFC law and that's why it's happening, it's not getting the correct response from the server. Tell me Alex, does this one thread properly? Hello Steve. --On 18 May 2005 22:21 +0100 you wrote about Re[2]: Proposal for spam filters: > I use Spamcop and can only whitelist senders not receivers and the > sender is yourself not "the bat". I just visited the Spamcop web site, I clicked the "Download Trial" link and it took me to the Mailwasher Pro download page. Now from what I can gather Spamcop is not a software program, it's a company or service where you report spam to. I use it myself with Mailwasher Pro and if I click the report box for any spam I get that they don't already know about it's Spamcop that it's reported to. If it was a spam filtering program I doubt they'd direct people to a competitors download page. Correct me if I'm wrong but Spamcop is not Spam trapping software, it's just a place to report it to? See attached for a complete description as to exactly what Spamcop is. If so, what actual software do you use to trap spam in the first place? Like I said I use Spamcop myself, I just didn't know it. Re: the bat! "on the fly encryption" and tokens
Hello Claude, A reminder of what Claude Renaud on TBUDL typed on: 20 February 2005 at 22:02:14 GMT +0100 CR> How can we activate OTFE ? CR> Does the authentication based on token is planned ? You'll need to delete all the RIT registry entries and completely reinstall TB from fresh where you will get the option for OTFE with whatever token type you want. Best thing is backup everything first, delete reg entries, install TB and then restore from the backup... Hello Thomas, A reminder of what Thomas Fernandez on TBOT typed on: Sunday, February 06, 2005 at 04:29:44 GMT +0100 TF> TB's user demography will probably have a higher percentage of TF> computer savvy users than most other mailers, yet it nannies the users TF> more. Why is that? I can't stress enough how much I agree with you. If TB! is to compete with other mailers, especially the ones about today then it should have the same abilities. I've played with most of them and the good ones all have the option to refuse or accept image display. What they don't have is all the rest of TB's powers, especially filtering and templates. Like Thomas said, the users on this list are the elite of email users, maybe a version of TB! just for us with a secret, non documented option for true full blown html ability...
