As I know, to crack a PGP-sign (and as an cipher-text) it is almost
impossible. I would say if your program successfully authorized the
PGP-sign then you may trust on 98% that this is true sign. Remaining 2%
is if "your" sign will be cracked by some very skilled cryptoanalyzer :)

Hello TBUDL,

I use PGP of version 8.0.2. And when I check menu option "Encrypt when
completed" in the editor of my TB! then no reaction while I try to
send mail in the Outbox. If I additionally check menu option "Sign
when completed" then all OK - mail encrypted/signed and send to

2003-10-19 Thread Vasiliy Efimenko
Hello BAT! Talk Users,

VE> "Return-Receipt-To:" отсутствует!

Replace "To:" by value from Address Book

2003-10-19 Thread Vasiliy Efimenko
Hello TBTECH Users,

How can I replace by macros the field "To:" by value from Address Book
  during replying?
For example, I received some mail from my friend Yuriy Batjkovich
whose name are presents in Address Book. But he wrote mail from "Yura
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>", so during replying TheBat puts into "To:" field the
"Yura <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" string. But I want that if sender are presents
in the Address Book then in the field "To:" TheBat puts the name
exactly from this Address Book. So, in presented case I want put in
"To:" the exactly "Yuriy Batjkovich <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" string and not
  TheBat's default variant.
This problem I very simple solved in TheBat! 1.62 version by adding in
the end of replying template the following string:

  %IF:"%AbTOEmail"<>"":"TO='' %TO='%AbTOName <%OFROMADDR>'":""

But, unfortunately, in TheBat! since 2.x versions this macro-string
  didn't work :(
Thus what I can do for solve this task in version 2.x?

Hello net5zero,

On 30 October 2003, at 04:19 -0500 you wrote:

Is a none Latin alphabet characters. For example, 8 bit characters are
Cyrillic letters: а, б, в, г, д, е, ё, ж (I don't sure that you are
able to see this letters properly).

nnn> 2. What is the difference between "without changes" and

If set "without changes" then in body of your mail 7-bit symbols and
8-bit symbols will be unchanged. Example:

---
This is 7-bit symbols.
Это 8-bit символы.
---

And if you set "quote-printable" then 7-bit symbols will be unchanged
and 8-bit symbols will be converted as in follow example:

---
This is 7-bit symbols.
=DD=F2=EE 8-bit =F1=E8=EC=E2=EE=EB=FB.
---

Also you can set "64 bit encoding" and then either 7-bit and 8-bit
symbols will be changed in the follow form:

"-- " after PGP verification

2003-11-03 Thread Vasiliy Efimenko
Hello TBUDL Users,

I noticed some bug in TB!'s implementation of PGP 8. When I turn on
"Sign when Completed" and turn off PGP/MIME then after signing the
"-- " (dash dash space) converted into "- --" (dash space dash
dash). I know that is a *normal* effect of PGP signing and I don't
have any claims to that, but... But after verification the "- --"
converted into "--" (dash dash) *without* space (0x20). So, all
words after "--" not interpreted as a letter's signing.

I decided that is the exactly TB's PGP implementation bug because I
tried same operations but by PGP Current Window menu "Sign". And in
this variant the "-- " transformed into the "- --" and after
verification again transformed into the "-- " (*with* space).

So, what are you thinking about it?

I read your preview (comparison) of Pocomail and The Bat!, it was
interested to see some "+" and "-" between this two clients.
Also I downloaded Pocomail and looked it through. Of course, very nice
and modern interface but... but after bit of using a said myself "The
Bat! are better!". IMHO.

But in any way, thank you for comments and given link!
