[Bug 1585058] Re: Sync pixfrogger 1.0-4 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)
Pixfrogger is an arch:all package that has dependencies (fenix) that are not installable on amd64, so yes, that's expected. (This upload fixes https://bugs.debian.org/534063 which ensures that the package is only built on archs that support all its build-deps to prevent FTBFS bugs, but it doesn't do anything to make this package installable on amd64.) Previous versions of this package had the same issue and I don't recall pixfrogger having migration issues in the past, so I'm not sure what's different this time around. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #534063 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=534063 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1585058 Title: Sync pixfrogger 1.0-4 (universe) from Debian unstable (main) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pixfrogger/+bug/1585058/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1511560] Re: Bumblebee is not blacklisting all avaliable nvidia drivers
I just don't think this bug is important enough to be worth cherrypicking back to pre-yakkety systems; there's frankly a host of other bumblebee and packaging related issues that are probably just as important, if not more so, and I think they fall out of scope of a SRU (and yes, there's been a ton of packaging changes, see http://metadata .ftp-master.debian.org/changelogs/main/b/bumblebee/unstable_changelog). For this particular bug, users who do not know what bumblebee is are unlikely to install it in the first place, and there's a simple workaround: "sudo apt-get purge bumblebee bumblebee-nvidia" instead of just "sudo apt-get remove bumblebee bumblebee-nvidia". If you're interested in pushing this yourself for trusty/xenial, you can check out the SRU documentation at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1511560 Title: Bumblebee is not blacklisting all avaliable nvidia drivers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bumblebee/+bug/1511560/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1575533] Re: Exaile package missing in Xenial
This is because exaile was removed from Debian sid (see https://bugs.debian.org/813255 for rationale), and the removal propagated to xenial. The only reason why exaile is still installable in xenial is because gstreamer0.10 still happens to be available in xenial (it'll certainly be removed in Ubuntu at some point as well). [Bug 1383909] Re: Bumblebee should recommend libgl1-mesa-glx:i386
As I mentioned earlier, no, this does not affect Debian (which has different libGL symlink handling via alternatives). I've added the change to Debian's primus git packaging repo (http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg- nvidia/primus.git/commit/?id=9e45b288d7cbf459cc93c9ffa424789bc51c2520), although I haven't uploaded it yet. I'd like to see this tested via the PPA first, but afaik the PPA packages are waiting for a bumblebee 4.0 release first, so I haven't looked at this since then. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1383909 Title: Bumblebee should recommend libgl1-mesa-glx:i386 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bumblebee/+bug/1383909/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Argh. AFAIK, there is no way for a package to specify a depends/recommends relationship on another package of a different arch, at least not in a Policy-compliant way.
